Um, Crosby was hurt for this years all-stars game. Why the hell would he play injured?
Malkin isn't a bitch, he can take a hit and dish them out as well. He also enjoys the game much like Ovechkin, he just doesn't show it openly.

Its simple, if Alexander "Slaps" Semin can beat each of them up, they are bitches. In all seriousness, Crosby is a whiner and also he overreacts when he is hit. Malkin cannot take a hit because if it happens he always tried to retaliate right after or take a cheap shot later, classic bitch.
So was Lidstrom and Datsyuk but they ate a suspension meanwhile Cindy didnt...

Crosby was playing injured and was out the game before the All-Star break. Of course he is going to play in the games after with that much rest...He was not suspended because he went to Montreal and participated in off-ice events. Niether Datsyuk or Lidstrom did this...(I know it is stupid to get suspended for not going to the All-Star game...)
BTW, Crosby missed last years All-Star game because of a high-ankle sprain which kept him out 29 games.
I think the biggest issue I have with this is that if I remember correctly, Datsyuk left the game before early with an injury and lidstrom did as well, I could be crazy but I think thats how it went, dont quote me though...
Well, if I missed that I wrote that Malkin whined in a previous post please point it out to me, but I am fairly sure I only said Crosby was and Malkin was just a pussy about hits, but thanks for backing my on the Ovechkin issue.
Haha. First someone calls Ovechkin a pussy (7th in the league in hits people, come on. Did you see some of the hits the other night against Atlanta, they got ruckus'd) and then calls Geno a bitch. I don't think anyone in the league takes hits lightly at all. If you have been paying attention to the rules about fighting that are being changed, you'd know that the majority of fights happen because of clean hits. No one likes being hit, and most people are going to get angry and give the guy a shove if they get driven into the boards. It's not about 'who's the big man that can take a hit and move on', as most people do, but emotion is a big part of the game of hockey.
Sure Crosby is a chatterbox on the ice, but he's full of talent. So what if he missed two all star games. He was injured, and used the injury to his advantage to gain some recovery time in order to be back in time to help his team push for the playoffs.

Actually I can speak for the merit on taking the hit and moving on. Its completely a manly thing to do and it shows class rather than throwing a stupid cheap shot. Also having someone else come over to fight your battles is one thing but having to stand up for yourself after you deliver a punishing and clean hit is wrong. The reason I dont really like Malkin is that he cant take the hits and will play cheaply if he is being bumped around. At that level of hockey, everyone is capable of "taking the number" and delivering their own CLEAN and respectable big hit, rather then cheap shotting like pussies or having big bad Georges Laraque or whoever come over and stand up for them. Grow up and play the game the way its supposed to be played seriously. I have taken my fair share of big hits and I have dished out far more than that wether it be the initial hit or in pay back for one ive recieved.
Also on the fighting topic, its okay to fight when cheap shots are taken but again, not for the pussy hits. I stand up for my teammates and fought this year when my D parter got cheapshotted via a knee to knee, won the fight but that is neither here nor there. Those things are okay. The "Oh you hit my susperstar so I have to fight you now" fights are garbage.

This stuff has been goin' on forever. Gretzky? He had Semenko. It's obviously the same today with Sid and Malkin, but it's practically true for every team. Nobody wants their star to be hurt, because usually the superstar is going to be the biggest factor for the team's success. If some fourth line guy comes and hits someone like Ales Hemsky, if Hemsky gets hurt it's not really going to be 'even stevens' now if someone goes and hits that fourth line guy back. You let teams know that they aren't going to be able to toss your superstar players around, and if they want to try and take 'em out they're going to be taken out themselves.
I'll agree that the whole thing is trash, but it's the truth. Every team does it as no one want to even risk their top line guys getting hurt. Especially with MVP candidates in Malkin and Crosby :/
I never said anything about it not being true, I only said that its a really pussy way to handle things and some of the stars like even Datsyuk and Ovechkin show that they will attempt to handle themselves in most cases while Crosby, Malkin, and various other stars pussy out.

Fucking HUGE win over the Avs today. Never thought I'd see Gagner score a hatrick lol, but It seemed likely sooner or later. He hasn't been scoring too much until now, but tonight was a pretty entertaining affair. I guess this should be a little note that te Oilers offense is not as bad as people think it is lol.
