The Everything NHL Thread

I'm going to go ahead and nominate chicago for 'sorest losers' in the NHL.

Man, all that after the play shit, breaking the stick on bourques back and then having your tough(er) guy go after him...fuck man, if they think they can intimidate a team like the flames with that shit, they can guess again.
I dont know if I would say thats all Chicagos fault though, I mean, Camalleri punches Havlat in a previous game, Phaneuf takes like what should be 4 penalties after the whistle for cross checking, there are so many things that the Flames did as well that were cheap shots that it is unreal. Besides, last I checked the Flames are still losing too...

Isn't Bourque injured now though? lol
I dont know but you cant not expect that from a series with the flames. I mean, we are talking about the same team, that because they were losing to Detroit, pulled kipper and had Mcsuckeny slash a wings player with a goalie stick. I mean, that is the definition of sore loser and they kind of deserve it at this point.

Personally, I dont care who really comes out of that series, though I know Synre is pulling for the devils and I am more of a fan of Parise/Gionta/Langenbrunner/Rolston/Broduer than I am of Ward/Staal so!

The flames and blackhawks is getting really rough, I guess there's alot of bad blood between them or somesuch. Oh, the little rivalries that form in playoffs!

I'm not surprised at all. Chicago has tried to goon it up at the end of their last two losses against the Canucks, which is why I kinda want to play them in round 2, but Nucks vs Flames would be even more intense.

the momentum gained by either team in a nucks vs flames serious would be more than sufficient to catapult their team forward to the finals I'd say. That matchup would be epic.

Well, the sweep of the Blues is official. The Canucks didn't really dominate them, but they were just a little bit better in each game.

It feels weird for it to be over already...

That's what the canucks' wives said.:naughty:

also, jesus, carolina wins it at 19:59 of the 3rd period? Man, talk about timing!
The correct timing was 19:59.8 and that is some crap really, I mean, way to play to the buzzer by Carolina but what a crappy loss and that might be the deathnote for the Devils.

Yeah that's got to be a painful way to lose. Not to mention Brodeur was really pissed about it, which might psych him out for the rest of the series. Then again Brodeur's probably the best goalie of all time, I doubt he lets stuff like that affect his play.

Maybe if he made more "glovely" saves and made more "pokecheck"'s hed be okay, I mean, J.C. Petit(I think) does just fine!
