A few things on divisions...
Do we want to just randomize divisions, or do we want to have some sort of logic in determining them? Since most of the competitors have played before (just the three newbies) we could snake by win% or average finish or something... like have a 1-4-5-8-9-new and 2-3-6-7-new new division to try to keep things fairly even. I think if we're doing the divisions it'd be more fun to keep them consistent as we can every year, so starting with some semblence of balance between them might be a good idea. I can math this out if you want. This would insure for the most part that we don't have a joke division, which I think was most of what those of us who were iffy about divisions were concerned about anyway.
I'm fine with the current draft date/time, and as aldaron posted in the league thing I'd want it to be sooner than the 28th if we change it. Also, do we have a final decision on keepers?
EDIT: Here are the lists for what (regular season because I'm lazy) win% and overall finish end up giving us as far as rankings. I doubt either accurately tier the players but it gives a general balance which is probably as good as we're going to get. I *ed people who have actually won the league because that's worth something that the numbers don't indicate, I'd say.
Numbers need to be updated for 2006, I only have Jackal's numbers in right now. A couple people (ZW and WER, I think?) played that year, right? Someone should tell me who they were so I can fix my numbers...
(By Regular Season Win%)
Teifu .622 (241-146)
Gr33n .608 (233-150)
*Jackal .568 (335-254)
*Aldaron .560 (109-84)
Vineon .555 (108-84)
*Carl .545 (201-184)
Psycho .494 (189-193)
zerowing .477 (190-198)
WER .445 (170-212)
(By Finish)
*Aldaron 1.0 (2008 - 1st)
Gr33n 3.0 (2008 4th, 2007 2nd)
Vineon 3.0 (2007 3rd)
Teifu 3.0 (2008 2nd, 2007 4th)
*Jackal 3.666 (2008 5th, 2007 5th, 2006 1st)
Psycho 5.0 (2008 3rd, 2007 7th)
*Carl 5.5 (2008 10th, 2007 1st)
zerowing 7.0 (2008 6th, 2007 8th)
WER 9.5 (2008 7th, 2007 12th)
Couple ties in finish we'd have to sort out if we used it, I intentionally removed ties in Win% because it's an irrelevant number by both win% and point percentage.
