Not me, I backed Phoenix right from the start. Nashville looks way better on paper thought. Smith should've been voted for Vezina IMO, and he's having his revenge for that right now lol. It's actually possible for him to play all 3 finalists (Rinne this round, Quick next round, and Lundqvist in the final) on his way to the cup which would be jokes.

Also wtf @ LA I don't feel so bad that Nucks lost to them anymore!!
 
Funny bit of trivia, every team that has beaten the Canucks has reached at least the Western Conference Finals, ever since 1992 (20 years ago). Half of them have won the Stanley Cup.

I read about this before but never actually watched the video. Totally agree with everything Jones said haha
 
Speaking of Radulov, he and one of the Kostistsyns both suspended for "violating team rules" for Game3... GG series then?

Would still have predicted Nashville to win series since they haven't lost on home ice yet but this seems like a really good way to make that happen.
 
I still think Nashville can pull this out.. much more likely to come back than the Blues are against LA, at least. Maybe the team scratch/suspension turns out to be some addition by subtraction. Allows Craig Smith to get back into the lineup, mixes lines up and gives some other guys the chance step up.
 
HBO renews season 3 with Red Wings and Toronto Maple Leafs. Definitely looking forward to looking into the dynamics of the Red Wings locker room, and the clusterfuck that is the Maple Leafs.

Hello conference finals Coyotes? Very realistic shot at winning the Stanley Cup imo, though I ain't expecting them to stroll past the Kings since they've knocked off the top seeded teams one after another. And that was after they so kindly handed the Pacific division to us too. So to that extent, I really hope the Blues win a game or two if just to keep them playing longer.
 
What kind of idiot made this NHL Playoff schedule? There are only 3 games on this weekend. I really want to like the NHL, I really do. But they're not making it easy.
 
They're just missing the extra game this weekend because of the TV deal with NBC, don't want to interfere with Kentucky Derby postgame...

Yeah but...the games are on at 1 on Saturday afternoon and then 3/730 on Sunday. Nothing at all on Saturday night. And theyre starting the Kings game at NOON local time on a Sunday. I know there are only 4 games to spread out over two days but they somehow picked the worst times and dates. The only game this weekend that I didn't look at and go 0_o was the Flyers/Devils Sunday night game. At least there's one sane person in that scheduling department.

Also why can't Washington and NY both lose this series ugh such terrible hockey games
 
I don't find the games where both teams play like theyre on the wrong end of a power play for 120 minutes to be entertaining. 60 is more than enough of that for me.
