If someone had offered me Cam Newton for Tom Brady after week one last year and I accepted the trade, you would have all vetoed it instantly and called me an idiot. Cam Newton ended up outscoring Brady last year and it would have been a pretty good trade for me that would have been denied. Like Killah said, I think vetoes honestly only need to happen for collusion or ridiculously ridiculously lopsided trades (any trade where you receive Matt Forte can never fall under that category, no matter how much you hate the trade). We don't penalise people for reaching in drafts or valuing players differently to everyone else, so why penalise someone who values players differently to you. ShakeItUp may have a legitimate point if he truly believes that the scoring difference from starting Forte over Mathews will be greater then the points lost by starting Cutler over Brady. Similarly, I'm someone who likes having deep teams so even though I lose a little with starting RB (I too value Forte over Mathews), I recoup that in getting some good depth in return. At the end of the day I've said what I needed to say, I hope you guys don't care enough about a fake game to penalise two people wanting to improve their teams but if you feel that strongly about the deal then whatever...
