Wayff13 vs L/Kira - Wayff is solid, but this should be fantastic battle imo

puggy vs. LonelyNess - LonelyNess is good
Sikh Assassin vs. Nuke144 - Don't know, I've seen Sikh more than Nuke, but eh
Stall vs. AzNGooK - Stall is pretty good
ambervoid vs. sharkshocker - Don't know either of them
Sunday vs. gmax - Should be a great battle
GTS vs. [.darkie] - Go darkie

Predictions based on absolutely nothing, bar sharkshocker who beat me in the first round and Stall who beat Ghandi last round so must be pretty decent.
 
It's like this, the loser's from the winner's bracket, go to the loser's bracket, then if you lose in the loser's bracket, you are out!

This of course means the loser's bracket will take longer, but it is then fair, and everybody is happy that they had a try to at least be the best of the losers!

Edit: I am missing a small chunk from the log (I accidentally forgot to save parts of the middle). Im sure it won't be a problem, considering that Rhykune was quick to confirm =)
 
Winner's Bracket:
Rojo23 vs. BlisseyO_Donell - From what I gather Blissey is a solid player.
Wayff13 vs L/Kira - This can really go both ways as both are rather skilled players going with Kira however.
Twist of Fate vs. Rhykune - ToF already won...

Loser's Bracket:
puggy vs. LonelyNess - Don't know LonelyNess to be honest but I've seen Puggy play he's pretty good.
Sikh Assassin vs. Nuke144 - Don't know either one of them...
Stall vs. AzNGooK - Going with Stall here he's a decent battler.
ambervoid vs. sharkshocker - Don't know either one of them but I like Amber's avy x_x;.
Sunday vs. gmax - Interesting match up going with gmax cause I don't really know how good Sunday is.
GTS vs. [.darkie] - Darkie is a decent battler so I'm going with him.
 
I managed to beat Wayff 3-0

It was an awesome match, and it drew tons of spectators.

Anyway Wayff saved the log so Sikh, prepare to get it soon
 
Well wayff appears to have lost the log, but we both confirmed that I won so it shouldn't matter.

Also the last match of the winners bracket it Blissey-O-Donnel vs. Rojo

So 3 people advance...

My guess is that one person will automatically get into the finals while the other two battle. So is it randomly chosen who gets the free pass into the finals? If so, PLEASE ARCEUS LET IT BE ME.

I'm pretty sure its a Round Robin Final, not some random final.
 
Oh... how does a round robin final work...

as in

Tof vs Kira vs Blissey.

So what would happen if

Tof beats Kira

Blissey beats Tof

Kira beats Blissey


Would we then base it on score... as in number of pokemon the winner had left?



edit: Nevermind... it isn't round robin.

Still how does a round robin work?
 
If it is the way you describe Sikh, you aren't running it well IMO. Should just be that we play the other two winners, and the one with the most wins get the title. If there is a tie, poke difference should come into play.
 
If you get to the point where you can have more people register (16, 32, 64, 128, 256, 512...), open up your slots to join and create a new limit. Avoid giving byes at all costs.

Sikh, this tournament has been a farce, a briliant idea, and for that I commend you but the way it has been run is a farce. Firstly, you should've either limited it to 16 or 32 which would avoided this situation. Then you should stick to the deadlines you set.

The only way to resolve this now would be the 3-way tie and PD coming into play or finish off the losers group and place one of them into the final 4.

Hmmm... How would round robin work? We have all of them face each other ie. Kira's post

Then if ties decide by Pokemon left?

P.S. I'm probably banned from ever making a tournament now, since this I handled this one very well :(
