I have now. =P

Okay, BreloomOfSteel, take a no evolution Starly, name it Bird & have it know a moveset of Quick Attack, Endeavour, Brave Bird, & Fly before your battle with Dialga. Have it solo Gardenia at a level no higher than 15 when attempting the solo, Maylene at a level no higher than 31 when attempting the solo (*cough*Double Team*cough*), & one of Volkner's Pokemon (*cough*Ambipom*cough*).

Have fun with this challenge that pissed me of during my Pearl No-Evolution Scramble.

Like Lolcat said, we have one in the group you've now joined, called "Recent Scramble Happenings" That would be for minor updates, feel free to post updates in this thread, & do link previous updates to your update. Most of the time, no one will reply, but they will appreciate the read, so don't feel ashamed to post an update in the thread, some of us like updates...

Aight, listen up. You're getting an Umbreon called Thuggin who is the biggest hipster around. He's big on rap battles too, so give him Taunt and Swagger. Whenever Umbreon faces a Pokemon that has Poison, Dark, Ghost, Psychic, Steel, Ground, or Fighting typing as any of their types, he must use both Swagger and Taunt on them.

Swagger can be found in the Pokemon Mansion, while Taunt is found on Route 211.

If a pokemon with one of the above typings faints your Umbreon his pride becomes hurt and he must use Taunt on the next five pokemon he sees and then defeat them, regardless of typing.

(I apologize if anybody found the above post stereotypical or offensive. It was all in good humor, I promise.)
 
You get Buggy the Drapion. It is a bit miffed at losing it's bug type when it evolved so it refuses to use Dark types moves at all. It also cannot use attacking moves that aren't bug type until it solo's your rivals Staraptor( must be staraptor, not staravia) To prove it is the ultimate bug, it must solo Aaron
 
Heart Gold Scramble Update

Updating my Heart Gold Scramble, because I can. This one goes from Mahogany Town to Cianwood City.
  • 16.) Hoppip (4xTheFun): Must appear against 2 GLMP to evolve into Skiploom, & KO 2 GLMP to evolve into Jumpluff. Post-Chuck, must be no more than 2 levels below highest levelled Pokemon & must KO at least one Pokemon on each of the E4 member's teams (Vratix)
  • 1.) Variable (Dexington)--> Furret (Dexington): Must know & keep Attract, Me First, & Surf/Whirlpool & use Me First against one of Lance's Dragonites (Dexington)
  • 10.) Haunter: Must solo every Haunter I see, including Morty's Haunters. May only use moves with a base power below 80 (DetroitLolcat)
  • 19.) Phanpy (Trunkie): Only attacking move is Rollout, must solo either Erika or Misty to evolve (Its_A_Random) (Dropped)
  • 5.) Starmie (Valence): If kept below Lv40 against E4, must have Surf & BoltBeam. Otherwise, must know Surf, but no BoltBeam (Treadshot A1)
  • 11.) Wooper (Yawn): If ability is Damp, Must know & keep Yawn & Yawn 5 Pokemon to sleep to evolve. If ability is Water Absorb, must know & keep Yawn & Rest & Yawn 10 Pokemon to sleep to evolve (Edwin Illan)
  • 4.) Lapras: Must Solo 30 Gym Leader & E4 Pokemon combined before Blue, & may either be all Physical or all Special (Athenodoros)
Fresh from getting the Glacier Badge, I have an epiphany as to why 4xTheFun was hopeless as soloing GLMP: He lacked Substitute, you heard me right, Substitute. With Substitute, 4xTheFun can pull off a Sleep-SubSeed strategy that can be ridiculously effective, so I go back to Goldenrod & play Voltorb Flip until I had 2,000 coins. I subsequently buy the TM for Substitute & teach it to 4xTheFun.

After that, I head to Olivine & hop onto Valence & travel all the way to Cianwood via water. Along the way, Yawn learns Yawn & he successfully Yawns 5 Pokemon to sleep subsequently evolving into Quagsire. :)

After arriving in Cianwood, I find Suicune, it runs away & Eusine challenges me to a battle. Troll takes care of Drowzee & Haunter despite some Sleep hiccups, & Yawn takes care of Electrode with little trouble.

After that, I head into the Cianwood Gym beat the minor trainers & challenge Chuck for Gym Badge #6. Atheno leads against Primeape & gets some good parahax right off the bat with Body Slam, killing him in 5 turns limiting Primeape to one Double Team & one Rock Slide, which did little damage to Atheno. Atheno then took a back seat to 4xTheFun as he took on Poliwrath, pulling of his Sleep-Subseed strategy successfully, the only attack Poliwrath got in was a Body Slam which destroyed a Substitute. Poliwrath falls easily & I win the battle. After I leave the gym, Chuck's Wife comes & gives me the HM for Fly. In Cianwood City at the moment.

Also for those who haven't done their matches for SPL 2 yet, you have 4 days & just over 22 hours to get your matches done.

I finally got around to starting the first of those three challenges that I asked for a couple of pages back (slow, I know), and have been working on it for a little bit, so let's take a look at my first Sapphire Update!

The Challenges Given!
1. From Galladiator: "LOLNOWEAK" the Sableye. Cannot have a +Speed or +Sp.Atk nature, must solo Wattson, and must always know Astonish.
2. From Detroitlolcat: A Torchic with a -Speed nature. Must solo Brawly and Flannery. May not learn TMs.
3. From DarkRay: "Holo / Horo" the Female Poochyena. She may only use the following moves, bite, thief, howl, iron tail, roar, taunt, attract, frustration, rest and 1 wildcard move that may be changed as I go. May only hold Leftovers if holding anything.
4. From auramaster: "Lily" the Lotad. Lily must always have Nature Power and must use it in every environment [9] and may only have one STAB move.
5. From BiGGiE: "Chubs" the Snorlax. It must learn the following moves ASAP: Double-Team (Cardio), Strength (Weight Lifting), Brick Break (Martial Arts), an elemental punch of your choice (Boxing, + move coverage).
6. From BiGGiE: "Sol-Glo" the Solrock. Must wear Black Glasses and keep Earthquake at all times. (Due to the fact that the other three moves listed don't exist in Gen III.)

The journey! I'm going to stick a Frustration Meter on the separate points of these updates, so you guys can get a better feel for my journey.
-Pick Torchic, it's Mild natured. Reset. The second one is both Female and Sassy [+SpDef -Spe] so I take her with me and name her Princess. -10 to frustration due to relatively good fortune.

-Go through the nonsense with May and am finally given Pokeballs! Go hunting for Fem!Poochyena and Lotads. Every single Poochyena I run into for a while is male. Not fun. Lotad appears quickly, though! Unfortunately, Lily the Lotad is a guy. Oh well. :3 +5 to frustration due to Poochyena.

-Find a Fem Poochyena after about twelve encounters with males and what felt like a million Zigzagoon. Also found like eight Ralts. Hate life. Anyway, Horo is captured. -5 to frustraton for relief.

-Breed a Snorlax in Emerald and trade the egg over for a fodder Wurmple I caught. Walk around Oldale to hatch Chubs. He's Brave [+Atk -Spe] natured! How fortunate! :) -10 to frustration for more good fortune.

Current Frustration!: -20

Take "Twiggy" the female Turtwig. It is obsessed with beauty, so it must learn at least two moves that are Beauty moves in Super Contests. Also, it may never learn Earthquake. To become Grotle, solo Gardenia. To become Torterra, solo Fantina. NOTE: Twiggy must have the two Beauty moves before Dialga.

@Breloom, you get Art the Rampardos. This Rampardos has devoted himself to the arts. He loves to Polish rocks, and shows it off to the world. He must learn the art of Rock Polishing ASAP and use it in every battle inside a building. He meditates on his actions, so as to increase his Zen (Headbutt). He must use this move to KO 3 E4 pokemon.
He hates Volkner's aloof attitude and must solo over half of his pokemon to show how annoying he is. However, the shocking battle leaves a permanent mark, and so now, Art must use Thunderbolt in every battle he is in at least once. If he does not, he must rock polish to +6 immediately before doing anything else.
The last move is up to your choice. He must solo Candice

6.)From Dark Ray - @breloom, you get "No U" the staryu. No U hates the letter U, so it refuses to use any moves with a U in the name (english names only). Additionally, it refuses to use any items with a U in the name. Eventually it finds a trainer with a U in his name, Lucian, and decides to solo him. You may evolve any time after wake.

The mono team thread has inspired me to take a mono type scramble challange in Diamond the type is (insert drumrole here) ghost. To qualify for my team it must be a ghost duh and you have to make up a backstory for it.

FromDark Ray- @czechm8, I give you a female sableye named "FallenStar". This sableye used to be a huge movie star, and would astonish audiences with her amazing acting. But one day she was mudered, noone knows who did it, so now she wanders the land, looking for her killer so she can get payback. But she never finds him, and that makes her frustrated. However, after staying with you she learns to let go, stops seeking revenge, and instead decides to get back into acting, so she learns captivate and a move for her next movie.
Challange.
-Female sableye named "FallenStar".
-Teach astonish, payback, frustration and a move of your choice.
-After the 6th gym you may replace payback and frustration with captivate and any move of your choice.

From it's a random- 108 the spiritomb
-Must solo exactly 108 trained Pokemon in the game, not 109, not 200, not 5, but 108.
-Combined Base Power of its moves may not exceed 108.
-Limited to using 108 moves in the entire game, reset after each Gym Leader win.
From king of kongs-@czech8, you get a drifloon. It was abandonned by it's clan in front of the Valley Windworks after it was unable to defeat the right of passage for a Drifloon, defeating a (determined by hidden power type). When it meets you, it is overjoyed and will learn and keep 1 TM that you give to it immediately after it's caught. The other conditions are defined by what hidden power it has. It must keep Hidden Power for the entire game.

Water/Dragon/Ground/Fire: Must learn and keep Payback and solo all other Drifloon/Drifblim with it. The pokemon that it failed to defeat was a Graveler, and must OHKO a graveler with explosion in order to be used in the Elite 4

Rock/Steel/Ice/Grass: Must learn Protect and Toxic, and finally out-stall the pokemon that got it kicked out of it's clan Chansey in order to be used in the Elite 4.

Flying/Electic/Poison/Dark: If its ability is aftermath, than it must learn Swagger and Secret Power. If it has Unburdan, than it must learn double team and shock wave. To prove it's awesomeness against other Drifloon's it must KO 5 Poke's resistant to flying and ghost. It must get revenge against Tentacruel for not letting it be with it's clan by ko'ing 5 Tentacools in a row before KO'ing Tentacruel.

Ghost/Phychic/Bug/Fighting: It must learn Sunny Day and Rain Dance. It must use either of the moves any time the weather changes, not including when it uses a move. It must get revenge on Snover, but killing just one is not enough, so it must solo all of the Snowpoint gym. (Candice and her trainers)

Nickname it outcast.

Your Haunter is The Boss of NFE. That's right, he's not even listed as being in the NFE tier on the Smogon competitive page. The Boss realizes this fact and is ready to tear Sinnoh a new one. A hard one. Since Smogon has recognized The Boss' potential he (yes he, must be male)may only use moves in battle if they are listed here: http://www.smogon.com/dp/pokemon/haunter. Additionally, to cement his position as The Boss of NFE he must solo:

to sum up: male Haunter named The Boss, may only use competitive Smogon moves, must solo 10 of the listed pokemon without the use of items (I didn't initially state that, I added it just now).

*Sigh* I'll reserve a spot for czechm8. Now to do some research...

EDIT: 108 is a significant number, so you get 108 the Spiritomb, because it weighs 108kg, is #108 on the Sinnoh Dex...Anyways, this Spiritomb was always shunned by the other Spiritomb, because it didn't realise the significance of the number 108, so to prove himself, throughout the adventure, he must solo exactly 108 trained Pokemon, not one more, not one less. Also, in respect of the number, the combined total of his moves may not exceed 108 in terms of Base Power, so choose wisely, & on top of this, he is limited to 108 moves throughout the game. This is replenished after each gym. Only then can he realise the significance of this number...

RECAP:
-Spiritomb named 108.

Sorry about the lateness of this edit.

Take "Casper" the Misdreavus. Casper has always wanted to be a Mismagius, to the point that it always searches for a Dusk Stone. It has vowed that if it ever finds one, it will not delay in using it to evolve. So, as soon as you get the Dusk Stone, or catch Misdreavus with a Dusk Stone in your bag, you must IMMEDIATELY evolve it. Also, as Mismagius, you teach it a TM of your choice, but as it learns the move, lightning strikes the TM and scares the crap out of it, and it becomes afraid of the little discs. It may, therefore, only learn 1 TM move. Ever. Even if you replace it. Choose wisely.

Oh, and Mismagius hates other Ghosts, so it wants to solo Fantina to take its anger out.
 
Ok, well im not sure if anyone will remember, but a wee while ago I did the first ever (that I know of) Scramblocke Challenge (a mixture of a nuzlocke and scramble challenge). Now since im bored, im going to do another and possibly make a comic about it. Here are the rules I will be following:

Note: This is to be played on Soul Silver
Note: I will not accept any of the following Pokemon, as I used them in my last Scramblocke:
Ampharos
Steelix
Tentacruel
Magnezone
Clefable
Gengar
Dugtrio
Venomoth
Forretress
Skarmory
Eevee
Octillery

1. If a pokemon faints, it is know as dead, and must be boxed and never used during the Scramblocke again.
2. I am to be given 12 Pokemon via the scramble thread.
3. The 12 Pokemon I am given, are to be arranged into an order, that being the order in which I use the Pokemon. (First 6 on the list is my party, when one dies, it is replaced by number 7, etc.)
4. All Pokemon must be nicknamed. All nicknames must follow a theme. Nicknames can be specified when given each Pokemon by that person, or they can let you pick your own nickname.
5. As with all Scramble Challenges, give each pokemon some sort of restriction, not too difficult though or something that I have to keep track of during the game.
6. Don’t forget the Pokemon listed above, I won’t accept any of them.
7. I want atleast one Pokemon obtainable before the first gym.
8. No Pokemon obtainable via trade although I can still trade to evolve.
9. Fully evolved forms only.
