Thanks everyone and i still need a clarification on the vulpix (can the ghost not battle at all or is it that if it does battle vulpix cant use attacking moves?)

-take a Vulpix named Redrum. It may only use attacking moves when there is a Ghost in your party, and that Ghost can't be used for battle. It must always know Imprison.\

-Take a Makuhita. It must beat a minimum of five Pokemon in the flying gym to evolve into Hariyama. If its ability is Guts, it must know Facade and Rock Tomb (and no Sunny Day/Belly Drum). If its ability is Thick Fat, it must know Sunny Day and Belly Drum (And no Facade/Rock Tomb). Either way, it must also always have one fighting attack. name the Thick Fat one Tubby and the Guts one BraveHeart

-Mr. Vending Machine, you will use the Kip of the Mud as your starter. You will name it Treeckosux. To evolve: Must solo one pokemon from the first four gyms and know the moves Growl, Water Gun, Mud-slap, and Bide. To become Pert: Must solo TWO pokemon from each of the last four gyms and know the moves Mud Shot, Foresight, Dive, and Take Down.

- catch the first Mawile you can. If it has Hyper Cutter name it "Cpt.Crunch," it must know Crunch and Vicegrip and cannot learn Baton Pass. If it has Intimidate name it "Apple Jack," it must know Iron Defense and Stockpile and cannot know Swallow. Must solo the rest of Wallace

-doomvendingmachine, use a Shedinja. Name it Ghost. no restrictions

need 1 more ruby

Just one more to start!

doomvendingmachine, use a Shedinja. Name it Ghost.

The way I read the Vulpix rules, you need a ghost in your party for Vulpix to attack, and neither Vulpix nor the ghost can attack in the same battle.

This. Or if you have a second ghost in your party, you can use Shedinja AND attack with Vulpix.

I know vulpix may use non-attacking moves if the ghost is used, can the ghost still participate in battle (albiet without attacking) if vuplix attacks? Otherwise I will be forced to break the rule if the ghost is the last in battle and everyone else is dead and vulpix has already attacked.

Edit: still need one more for ruby

If Vulpix is your last Pokemon and the ghost has been used, consider yourself a rebel and move on with the game. Or if you want to be crafty, use Toxic.

nJoyUrAIDs, since you're playing Ruby, you can use a Zangoose. Name it Slasher. It cannot learn Crush Claw, and must always keep Fury Cutter. In addition, it can't learn any TMs until you beat Winona.

nJoyUrAIDS, take a Treecko as your starter. It can evolve into Grovyle after learning Mega Drain, then into Sceptile after learning Giga Drain. Its remaining three moves must be physical.

Hey guys, I still need 1 more member for my Ruby run and your already on to someone else? Here's the rest of my team:

This looks fun, joining just to try it.

I want to try this on my LeafGreen. I cannot trade, and am using the normal rules. My only other request is that it not be too impossible.

Thanks!

Current team:

Charmander, can only evolve into Charmeleon by soloing Misty, can only evolve into Charizard at Indigo Plateau
Eevee. If its nature boosts one of its attacks, it must evolve into Jolteon. If its nature boosts one of its defenses, it must evolve into Vaporeon. If its nature is either neutral or boosts its speed, it must evolve into Flareon. It must always know Baton Pass.
If your Eevee (given above) evolves into Vaporeon, teach it Rain Dance. If it evolves into Flareon, teach it Sunny Day. If it evolves into Jolteon, teach it Thief. It must keep the move that corresponds to the Eeveelution.
Mr. Mime you get from an in-game trade. It must learn Shadow Ball via TM and keep it until you reach Indigo Plateau.
Diglett. It must solo Lt. Surge to evolve and must know Earthquake ASAP.
Geodude named Hardball. Any pokemon whose name starts with an E must take an explosion.
Goldeen, named Footsplash, cannot evolve until learns Waterfall by level up. Cannot use Surf after learns Waterfall.

@dunn444; i need another pokemon for my ruby scramble, i'll give you one if you give me one. Think of something challenging, but not over the top hard here is my current team for reference;

@dunn444, your starter is Charmander. To evolve to Charmeleon it must solo Misty. It cannot evolve to Charizard until you reach Indigo Plateau.

I want a challenge for Ruby no trading
Take the first Wailmer you see and name it Dingy. If it's ability is Water Veil it must know Surf, Dive, Waterfall, and Hydro Pump before evolving. If Oblivious, it must know two of the Water HMs, and Attract before evolving. Once it's a Wailord it can have any moves you want.

I'll try this on LeafGreen as well. Same rules as dunn444. Speaking of which...

dunn444, take an Eevee. If its nature boosts one of its attacks, it must evolve into Jolteon. If its nature boosts one of its defenses, it must evolve into Vaporeon. If its nature is either neutral or boosts its speed, it must evolve into Flareon. It must always know Baton Pass.

My team so far:

Use a Butterfree. You must use it to solo Brock. If it doesn't solo him, you can't use it during the League.

Fish up a Poliwhirl (super rod, then fish route near Bill's cape house) and evolve it into a Poliwrath ASAP. If its ability is Water Absorb, it must always be switched in on opposing water types and know the move Brick Break. If its ability is Damp, it must be taught Substitute (move tutor) and Focus Punch. Either way, it must also know a water move.

get a diglet name him wackamole. He must inflict damage at once a battle that includes a poke that he hits for STAB SE damage (If its a trainer he can attack later in the match, he just has to attack).

use the eevee from celadon, name it Vee. it may only evolve if it knows the move mimic. it must always know the move mimic, and once it evolves it must learn and keep whatever move it learns at level 47. If you choose to evolve it, you may not buy the evo stone from the celadon dept. store, you must find it elsewhere in the game.

Kangaskhan, named Garurumon, must have one HM and Rage. Also, must solo Silph Giovanni battle

Bring Squirtle, SR until you get a female. Name it Lady. It may never learn a water move with higher base power than Water Pulse

I will update soon with... well, an update. Thanks to everyone who helped with my team.

doomvendingmachine:

Use a Golduck. Nickname it Daffy regardless of its gender.
----
dunn444:

Use the Mr. Mime you get from an in-game trade. It must learn Shadow Ball via TM and keep it until you reach Indigo Plateau.
----
The Shiny Umbreon:

Use a Butterfree. You must use it to solo Brock. If it doesn't solo him, you can't use it during the League.

@njoyuraids get a gulpin and name it wapol. It must know stockpile swallow and spit up to evolve. He must solo any fighting trainer (krate guys and such, not people who use fighting pokes).
@ The shiny umbreon get a diglet name him wackamole. He must inflict damage at once a battle that includes a poke that he hits for STAB SE damage (If its a trainer he can attack later in the match, he just has to attack).
@ dunn444 get a geodude and name it hardball. Anyone whose name starts with e must take an explosion from this guy.

Have fun!!

@ The shiny umbreon get a diglet name him wackamole. He must inflict damage at least once every battle.

Once every battle would lead to wackamole getting a tremendous level boost over its teammates. I like the idea of diglett, but could you change the requirement somewhat?

Also, thank you Senfroz and Dexington, I'll use both of those.

@shiny umbreon

Update:

You may have noticed due to my failure to find a Burmy, I now have a Heracross named OUWarrior, with no STAB moves. It's actually pretty unfair, as it's helped me beat two gym leaders so far, which I'm sure Burmy wouldn't have been much a help with.

-Anyway, I levelled it up enough to learn Aerial Ace, and used that to sweep Maylene. Noggin (Turtwig) dutifully soloed Lucario to fulfill his requirements to evolve. At this point, all of my Pokes were a bit overlevelled due to all the time spent looking for Burmy, but not by much. PFCVagoo (Bidoof) continues to destroy everything in its path with Simple boosts.

-I approached a black-belt looking trainer and he said, "Don't say anything. Just take it." I was about to run and call the pedobear police, but he bought my secrecy with an Odd Keystone. I just hope the next person to talk to him doesn't suffer a different fate.

-Captain(Meditite) FINALLY learned a physical STAB, Force Palm. Halle-fricking-lujah. And a few levels later, Hi Jump Kick!

-Challenged Crasher Wake, which was pretty challenging. Mostly because nothing on my team can do anything to Gyarados. Nothing. Especially because of Intimidate. I could've used Turtwig but I needed to save him for the rest of the team. That damned Gyara took out Vagoo and OUWarrior before Captain finally took him out with Confusion. The rest was a breeze with Turtwig.

-Vagoo raped my rival with Rollout. Again. It's starting to feel unfair.

-Followed a Galactic Grunt, who was truly awful at hiding from me. "Derp I'm five steps away, how did you find me?" After that, Shirona gave me something to give to her Grandma in Celestic Town. I wonder why she didn't just hike over there herself.

-Now I know why. It's the MOST ANNOYING ROUTE IN HISTORY. Seriously Gamefreak, why why why did you include fog? It's like a cave full of Confuse Ray-ing Zubat times ten. In fact, there was a trainer with three Zubat, all very Confuse-happy. Aerial Ace was useful until OUWarrior died, then it was just torture. And the little ninja kid's Pokemon never seemed to miss. THANKS GAMEFREAK.

- Got to Celestic Town, Vagoo destroyed Jupiter. And then (YESS) I got Surf. This is good because it gives me a good reason to evolve Vagoo, who must have only special attacking moves to evolve. I had the opportunity earlier, but Rollout and Hyper Fang were better than any special TM's available. Now Vagoo is a Bibarel with Surf. And soon it will have Charge Beam (which gives a +2 boost with Simple). Awww yeah.

-I'm off to battle Fantina, which shouldn't be too hard with OUWarrior's Night Slash and Noggin's Bite. If it's close I can always just switch in my automatic-win-machine, I mean Bibarel.

Current Team-
Noggin (Turtwig)- Razor Leaf, Bite, Curse, Synthesis
Captain (Meditite)- Confusion, Force Palm, Hi Jump Kick, Calm Mind
PFCVagoo (Bibarel)- Surf, Grass Knot, Defense Curl, Amnesia
OUWarrior (Heracross)- Aerial Ace, Night Slash, Take Down, Counter (doesn't get STAB. Wheeee! Loopholes!)

To be caught: Glameow with Charm and Captivate. Must learn Attract eventually. And Snover, must solo Candice's Abomasnow and finish it off with Blizzard.

@the dude who wants people to enjoy aids: an elektrike (name it Baron if male and Baroness if female) It cannot evolve before you have 7 badges and all of its attacking moves must be electric.

@dunn444: Bring a Goldeen named Footsplash. It may not evolve until it learns Waterfall by level-up. Once it knows waterfall, it may not use Surf in battle.

@ShinyUmbreon: Bring Squirtle, SR until you get a female. Name it Lady. It may never learn a water move with higher base power than Water Pulse
