@minmin capture the first psychic type pokemon you see in the wild. it must know always know two STAB moves (if it's dual-typed like Solrock, one STAB move for each type is acceptable), and must never be the lowest level pokemon in your party

i just need ONE MORE pokemon for the platinum run and i really need it so i can play during a long car ride :P please suggest one (Lorak or Lovrina or someone)
 
Not really sure how this works, but...

Paradox, take a Pachirisu. Must have Pickup (though you should refrain from the use of the items it picks up), and can only ever use electric moves if it has one in battle. There's no limit on what it can have outside of battle (like HM's, etc.).
 
Team: Spinarak it has to have insomnia. Must catch it at route 30 (and it'll be at level 2). It must evolve inside a pokemon gym. (Ariados is one of my favorite pokemon too :P)
Girafarig named Dragoon. Go through the Mount Mortar and catch it south of the Lake of Rage before you fight Morty. Then use it to solo at least one of his pokemon.
A pokemon thats mostly blue and it cant be my weakest pokemon at any point and must be caught in a Dive ball from the pokewalker and must have blue seals as soon as possible.
Sentret, must have all special moves by Viridian.
 
Hi everyone. I've never done this but I want to give it a try. So, I'll start play soul silver and I'd like an original team. I can't trade and the only restrictions are: the majority of the team must be catchable early (before 4th gym) and no glaring type weaknesses, please.

Team (so far):

Chikorita (can only evolve to Bayleef by learning Light Screen (TM or Levels) and can only evolve to Meganuim by learning Safeguard and must keep these moves)



I used one when I played gold about 10 years ago
 
zdrup, get a Chikorita and it can only evolve to Bayleef by learning Light Screen (TM or Levels) and can only evolve to Meganuim by learning Safeguard. You must always have these moves.

@zdrup get a qwilfish, it has to always know revenge and brine upon learning them

Oh, hillmic get a hoothoot. It must learn and keep reflect and can only evolve after soloing 2 of bugsy's pokes (I'm not too cruel at this)

Still awaiting two pokemon, so Cipher Admin please gimme one, as well as zdrup so I can get started here. :P
 
@zdrup: Stantler is obtainable, right? In which case get one, it must know at least 2 status moves ASAP.

@Cipher Admin: Empoleon? If so, purely physical movepool please.

MY TEAM (Emerald):

~Capture the first psychic-type you see. It must always know 2 STAB moves and never be the weakest pokemon in my party.
~Get a skitty and name it Nemo (Frank's cat), dont evolve it until you beat the flying gym. It must know Growl at all times and has to be a female, I think they are always but w/e. They are 75% female.
~Get a Makuhita, cannot evolve
till Flannery, cannot learn Belly Drum and/or Bulk Up.Yay, time to use my old Double Team Focus Puncher set.

All righty, Cipher gave me a Cyndaquil on my wall so my team is:

Cyndaquil, and name it CrashNBurn, but you have to solo the first two gyms with it, then release it immediately after Ilex Forest. (Aww come on!)

And I have

Feebas who doesn't evolve until the distortion world.
Roselia who doesn't evolve until soloing a gym it has a type disadvantage to.
Espeon or Umbreon... whichever one Eevee evolves into first... if it does
Machop who doesn't evolve until after the 7th gym and again after Victory Road.
Purely Physical Empoleon
Froslass... need a special requirement for this one!

Get a Makuhita. Come up with your own nickname for this one. Can't evolve till you've beaten Lavaridge gym (the fire one, i think), and it cannot ever learn Bulk Up or Belly Drum.

Wait, min min gave you Piplup (which you decide on the NN). Same requirement (must use physical attacks only) as my Chimchar suggestion. Lovrina, ultimately you will make the decision yourself.

Ok, then Froslass must learn and keep captivate and destiny bond (it is perfect for your theme)
 
zdrup, take a Mareep. It can evolve to Flaaffy whenever, but to get Ampharos you must solo one of the trainers in the Olivine Lighthouse with it. For added difficulty/annoyance, it must have Rest and Sleep Talk as soon as those TM's are available and keep them forever.

Also, I've never done this before, but i'd like a challenge for Pokemon Diamond (i couldn't find HG for cheap...). Just make it reasonably easy, it's my first time. Also would prefer at least 2 pokemon by Valley Windworks, and to have at least 4 pokemon by Pastoria. If possible, no Great Marsh pokemon (i hate that place), and no trading bar none.

Treadshot A1, use a simple bidoof that has at least 1 stat altering move
zdrup, use the eevee that bill gives you. evolve it into flareon and it must know bite
