Dreamox, take a Pidgey as your last pokemon, name it "Evens". This pidgey must be caught on Route 2, and you must use the first level 4 pidgey that you catch here. You may not continue past route 2 until you have caught Pidgey.
Evens is all about fairness, and even numbers. Evens must lead your party every time you are on an even-numbered route, but may not fight on an odd-numbered route. Similarly, Evens must lead your party in the towns of the second, fourth, sixth, and eighth gyms (in whatever order that is, other mons' solos excepted), but may not battle in the towns with the first, third, fifth, and seventh gyms.
Evens believes that using items gives it an unfair advantage over its opponents. It may never hold an item. Additionally, it may only have items used on it in battle on a turn immediately following the turn where its opponent uses an item. Items may be used freely outside of battle.
Other mons' solos excepted, Evens must solo gym leader pokemon from each gym in which it can fight (2 if the leader has 2 or 3 pokemon, 4 if the leader has 4 or 5 pokemon, 6 if the leader has 6 pokemon), and two pokemon from the second and fourth E4 members you face (choose your battle order to maximize the number of possible solos).
Evens also finds it unfair to use TM or HM moves that it would not learn naturally by levelling up. While it may learn these moves for convenience (particularly HMs), it may never use them in battle.
