Challenge The Scramble Challenge - Mark 2

Reserving for PokemasterStephan.

Ok, you can have my signature scramble. :)

PokemasterStephan, take a Slugma and name it DR.PROTECT.
This Slugma is a national protector of Fire-types, and gets tired of it.
So, it must use Yawn against all fire types that it sees. That also means Slugma must switch in against all fire types to use Yawn.
After evolution, it thinks it has the effects of Shell Smash on, so it has to set up Reflect and Light Screen when it comes in , instead of Yawn. But it must keep Yawn.
After Reflect and Light Screen have been used 5 times in total, it thinks protecting isn't boring anymore, and can forget Yawn and not have to come in against all fire types.
It also has to have 1 attacking move at all times.
Have fun!

Also, follow this link to get a Slugma egg at Violet City. Even though it says wallpaper, you can still get it by putting in your friend code.

@ King Serperior & Professor Science; both are accepted :) King Serperior, I've sent you a message with my choice, I'm going for Jack the Slowbro :)

@ Gamer40000: I'm waiting for your challange :)

4 spots left on my Soul Silver team! If I get them, both journeys will be on their way!

Isn't anybody up for a challange? :(

PokemasterStephan, you get Mary the Miltank. Whitney's Miltank has been terrorizing children and Nuzlockers for years, and after experiencing her terror first hand, you decide you want a Miltank of your own!

However unlike Whitney's Miltank Mary is up for challenging things stronger than novice Pokemon trainers. She also wants to help her team out as much as possible, including taking on some pretty difficult tasks.

Her big mission however, is to solo Jasmine.

To help you, teach Mary the following moves asap:
-Strength
-Milk Drink
-Heal Bell
-Surf

If you are unsuccessful in soloing Jasmine with Mary, you cannot learn Heal Bell in the future (since it learns it later by level up). If you are successful, then continue to work towards those four moves as her move set. Once sh can physically be taught those moves, she must keep them forever.

This also means that you must solo Koga's Foretress the first time, and Bruno's Steelix the second.

Finally, because Mary is such a strong utility player, you cannot use any items, including revives on her ever. She can only be healed at Pokemon centres or by her own abilities in or out of battle.

When facing the Elite Four, you can use one MooMoo Milk on her, but that's it.

enjoy!

@Professor Science, Storm the Mareep is unable to solo Volkner in SoulSilver.

@PokemasterStephan, take Touchdown the Cyndaquil. This Pokemon loves Football. It must always know Tackle and if any of your other Pokemon faint in battle, it must switch in and immediately use Tackle to stop the opponents play. To evolve into Quilava it must score 21 points or complete the first quarter. To evolve into Typhlosion, it must score another 21 points or reach Halftime. Have it solo at least 1 Gym Leader per quarter. During Haltime solo 1 E4 Member. If you go to Overtime, solo 2 of Red's Pokemon.

The Quarters
1st- Beginning to 4 badges
2nd- 4 badges to 8 badges
Halftime- Pokemon League
3rd- Arriving in Vermillion City to 12 badges
4th- 12 badges to 16 badges
OT- Red

How to Score Points
2 Points- Solo any Trainer without taking Damage
3 Points- Solo a Gym Trainer
6 Points- Solo a Gym Leader
7 Points- Solo a Gym Leader without Switching
8 Points- Solo a Gym Leader without Switching or Taking Damage
6, 7, and 8 points do not stack, only 1 per Gym Leader

Have fun!

MarshallLeroy and Super Saiyan, both challanges are accepted :)

Still 2 spots left on the Soul Silver team, which one is reserved by Gamer40000! Giving him 24 hours, before someone else can take the spot! :)

Sweet, accepted! :) Do you mean friend code, or trainer ID? Because the website says trainer ID? And who gives the egg to me?

Still one spot left!

Reserving the final spot for Pokemaster. Will edit in a sec.

John, you get Sage Noble the Bellsprout (credit to Sage Chow). Sage Noble is the most noble of all the Bellsprout Sages, and such must solo each an every Bellsprout in Sprout Tower, at no higher than level 7, in which he cannot heal until having defeated 3 level 3 Bellsprout, or 2 level 6 Bellsprout (trust me, it can be done. Level 7=Growth). Having shown his prowess in battle, he can then relax for a while. No restrictions until the National Park. He takes one of your pokemon under his wing, and decides to help train him. He must learn one move that that pokemon can, and show him how to use it. Before Morty, each of them must split the lackeys, and whoever does not solo the last one must be the next pokemon to solo a non-reserved gym leader. After such, no restrictions until the Team Rocket Goldenrod Base OR Ice Cave(whichever comes first). When you reach that point Noble wants to show his nobility to the ice types in Ice Cave, and such must lead your party throughout Ice Cave. He also dispises Team Rocket, and such must solo 2 Excecutives in the Radio Tower. He knows the E4 is very noble, so from there no restrictions until Vermillion. Once you get there, he wants to bring his nobility to Kanto, and must solo 2 Gym Leaders not named Misty or Brock, and must solo the Team Rocket Grunt that holds the location to the Magnet Train part. Finally, Noble must win 25 pokeathelons, anytime throughout your scramble. Good luck, and Sage Noble can evolve anytime he has no restrictions. Finally, Noble must solo 2 of Red's pokemon if you go that far, as Red has not been very noble lately.

This is an old challange of mine, one I've always wanted to reuse, since it was originally rejected. I'll change it if it is too hard.

My name isn't John :P but if this challange was meant for me, I'll accept it! :) even if it wasn't meant for me, I'll accept it, because I've always wanted to use a Bellsprout! Next post will contain a short recap, and then I'll be on my way! :D

Allright, here is a short recap of both teams:

Gamer40000: Take IWASBROKEN the Psyduck! IWASBROKEN knows that the Psychic type was broken in Gen 1, and wants to relive that as much as possible.
He has to have a Psychic type move and Amnesia at all times. To evolve, he has to solo 10 Electric types after using Amnesia.
His final moveset has to be Psychic-type move, Amnesia and two of Surf/Blizzard/Rest.

Newby N0Ob: You get Evo?NTY the Onix. As an Onix, it wants to take advantage of the speed it has that Steelix can only wish for. As such, it must keep Rock Polish and set up if it gets sent out in a major battle (rival, gym, or E4). Have it solo Roark to prove its supreme speed over other Rock-types.

King Serperior: Take Random the Clefable. Random must learn and keep Metronome ASAP. Max out it's PP. Metronome must be the first move used in battle at all times. Solo three gym Leader Pokemon in three different gyms using only Metronome. Solo 2 E4 Pokemon using Metronome. Also, solo your rival's Snorlax with this same method.

Jessifer: Jessifer: Take Slow the Turtwig. Slow wants to prove that slow and steady does win the race (he's a turtle). He must learn Curse, since it allows him to be slow but strong. He may never outspeed the opponent and must use Curse until he is slower. He must also learn any move that may heal, in order to keep him alive for longer. Solo a Trainer with Lopunny to evolve into Torterra. Turtles and hares have a long rivalry, you see.

TalkingLion: take a Sheildon named BrickWall. This Sheildon wants to survive every kind of attack, so it must survive an attack of every type from a Pokemon that cannot be more than 5 levels lower than itself. After doing this for each of the 17 types, it may evolve. At this point rename it GlassCanon, and now it wants to defeat every type of Pokemon. It must now solo every type of Pokemon at least once, and the Pokemon must be no more than 5 levels lower than itself. Dual type Pokemon count as whatever type comes first in their Pokedex description.

Axmaster88: Take RNG the Bronzor. RNG is in love with the RNG, or Random Number Generator, and such must let it decide these things:
1)What its final moveset will be (one attacking and one status move minimum) Took the Serebii Pokedex, and counted the number attacks it could learn; 53. 6, 48, 42 and 23 rolled out. So it must learn: Extrasensory, Dream Eater, Stealth Rock ( Fuck yeah Bronzong lead ) and Solarbeam
2)Which gym it will solo (not already being soloed, of course) - 5, meaning it has to solo Fantina
3)How many E4 pokemon it has to solo (between 1 and 5) - 4
4)How many contests it has to win (between 1 and 7) - Removed this one due to restriction number 10
5)Which type/s the contests have to be (2 types max) - Removed this one due to restriction number 10
6)How many trainers RNG can face on a route(RNG can only be used in 10-15 trainer battles per route) - 10
7)How many trainers RNG has to solo (1-10) - 8
8)At what level it can evolve (between 33-45) - 36
9)Which route it needs to be caught at - 1 = Route 206, 2 = Wayward Cave, 3 = Mount Coronet, got a 3
10)How many removals you get (between 1 and 3) - 2

King Serperior:Take Jack the Slowbro: he is the most sleepy Pokemon ever!! Teach him Yawn ASAP! Teach him Rest ASAP also. You must rest when your HP gets into the red. No potions at this stage. Solo the red Gyara, your rival once, one TR Admin at all times, and a gym.

Professor Science:

In summary:
-A Mareep named Storm
-May never learn two moves of the same type
-Final move set must be Thunder, a level up move, a TM move, and a tutor move
-Solo 25 Electric-resistant, trainer-owned pokemon to evolve into Flaafy
-Solo 20 Electric-resistant, trainer-owned pokemon, and 20 Ground-type, trainer-owned pokemon to evolve into Ampharos
-Solo Clair

Gamer40000: Take a Slugma and name it DR.PROTECT.
This Slugma is a national protector of Fire-types, and gets tired of it.
So, it must use Yawn against all fire types that it sees. That also means Slugma must switch in against all fire types to use Yawn.

After Reflect and Light Screen have been used 5 times in total, it thinks protecting isn't boring anymore, and can forget Yawn and not have to come in against all fire types.
It also has to have 1 attacking move at all times.

MarshallLeroy: you get Mary the Miltank.

Axmaster68: John, you get Sage Noble the Bellsprout (credit to Sage Chow). After such, no restrictions until the Team Rocket Goldenrod Base OR Ice Cave(whichever comes first). When you reach that point Noble wants to show his nobility to the ice types in Ice Cave, and such must lead your party throughout Ice Cave. Finally, Noble must solo 2 of Red's pokemon if you go that far, as Red has not been very noble lately.

Thanks everyone, I'll be on my way! Expect an update after obtaining the first badge! :)

Okay guys, new chapter up for my Soulsilver scramble! In this chapter, I catch some more HM slaves, go to Cianwood city, and I'mADoctor the Hoothoot challanges Chuck...

Chapter 5:
Okay, time to continue on with my challange! First thing's first, gotta train up Thirsty!… Hmm, I think I'll go back and teach her Headbutt, for the slightly higher power. Pretty pointless, but I've got time on my hands!…. Whoah its Entei!! Sweet!! WHAT, no don't run away!! Please??! Aww, never mind… Okay I'm done grinding Thirsty, now to continue!… Oh hai Baoba, you own the Safari Zone? Awesome, I'll probably never go there!… Aw, I have to give this Miltank approximately 100,000,000 oran berries if I want to buy Moomoo milk? BERRY POTS GO!!!! *one day later* Sweet, that Miltank is healthy again!! --> GET MILK. Oh, Thirsty wants to learn Body Slam? Well that makes getting Headbutt earlier pretty pointless…. Whoah, DUMBO is a pretty awesome mixed wall now- she can even tank x4 effective, STAB special attacks with Sandstorm up (read: poliwhirl's water gun). What a beast.

Oh cool, Olivine city!… Oh its that REDHEAD!!! What? You're calling me a wimp?? ME???? DIE DIE DIE!!! What, don't run away!! What a jerk. Oh, Jasmine's out, helping a sick pokemon in the Lighthouse? Better check it out!… Sweet, an elevator! This means I won't have to battle thousands of trainers to get to the top for once! Oh, there's Jasmine with an Ampharos… In a blocked off area. FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU- Well I've decided that Titan really doesn't need Roost, so I'll teach it to I'mADoctor, over Uproar. Oh, now you want to learn Take Down too? Well, now she has roost to heal off the recoil, and it'll be her strongest move for a few levels, she can have it over peck…. What Jasmine, you want me to go to Cianwood City to get medicine to save Amphy? Sure, I guess. However, I need a Surf slave! I guess i could use Thirsty, but I have a planned move set for her and Surf's not on it. Since the Move Deleter is in Blackthorn city at the very end of the game, I'll catch a Krabby! Welcome to the team, Mr. Krabs!

Ooh, female swimmers! Oh don't worry ladies, there's nothing to be scared of… Wait no, why are you attacking me with you're pokemon? "Go away, creep!" Nevermind, I guess it's just the game's coding which makes them run away…. Hmm, on second thoughts, I will probably need a Fly slave too, as I'mADoctor isn't allowed to learn it. So I go back and catch Wingz the Pidgey!… Whoah, DUMBO just tanked a Water Pulse from a Seaking. O_O awesome… MOTHER!! Y U HAV TO CALL ME EVERY 5 MINUTES?? Ah who cares, she'll give me awesome items. Worth it. Oh sweet, I'm at Cianwood city!… Whoah, it's Suicune again!! No, why do you keep running away?? Oh hai Eusine, you want to battle? Okay, no problemo. Wow, I'mADoctor did really well this time, soloing 2/3rds of his team. Hmm, she still needs some grinding though, so I'll do some fishing… WHOOPS, I just levelled I'mADoctor, DUMBO, and Thirsty to level 28, meaning Trifroce's restriction is broken! Goddammit…. YES, I'mADoctor is at level 29, allowing her to learn Air Slash! I'll put it over confusion. This will be very useful in the upcoming battle…. Oh cool, Thirsty want to learn Zen Headbutt! Sure, I'm gonna say goodbye to Defense Curl… Sweet, I'mADoctor is at level 31 now, I think she's ready to take on the gym!… Awesome, DUMBO learned Rock Polish in the Gym. Moveset complete! Now, Chuck, I'mADoctor has an appointment with you…

I'mADoctor comes out, and he sends out Primeape. He uses double team, but Air Slash still hits (thanks to the Wide Lens), sending Primeape into the yellow. Primeape prepares a Focus punch, but my owl's Air Slash connects, getting the KO! He sends out Poliwrath. Scaredof the Focus Punch, I use air slash, doing about 1/3rd HP, while his mot powerful attack is foiled. He uses surf, nearly taking I'mADoctor into the yellow, and AIr Slash hurts him more, activating the Sitrus Berry. He uses surf again, bringing I'mADoctor into the red, and Air Slash hits again, leaving him with about a third HP remaining. I heal with a Moomoo milk, and his frog uses Hypnosis, which misses (it doesn't matter anyway, I'mADoctor has Insomnia.) He tightens his focus for a mighty punch, but Air Slash hits… and Poliwrath has about 1 HP left. Then… he heals with a hyper potion (typical), and I hit again with Air Slash. This time I won't tolerate anything, so I use hypnosis. He prepares to launch a focus punch… hypnosis misses… and I'mADoctor in OHKO'd. I send in Triforce as heal fodder, who takes two Surfs. I send in a now-fully-healed I'mADoctor on a Hypnosis. He uses surf, taking I'mADoctor into the yellow, and I'mADoctor hits with a (you guessed it) Air Slash. Then Poliwrath stares down I'mADoctor, taking in every move, curling back its hand in anticipation of an explosive Focus Punch, but before he can execute the technique, my little Hoothoot fires a shot of pure air, stabbing Poliwrath through the heart with a mighty Air Slash. Prof won the Storm Badge, and I'mADoctor has earned the right to evolve! Chapter 5 out!

Pokemon on team: 6
Gym Bagdes: 5
Blackouts: 0
Times failed a restriction: 5 (1 per badge o.o)

(Pokemon ranked from MVP to LVP)

Spr_4d_123_f.png

Titan the Scyther
Lvl 29
-Wing Attack
-Focus Energy
-Swords Dance
-Agility

Tank 20 super effective hits (COMPLETE)
Tank 2 super effective hits in a row (COMPLETE)

Titan continues to be a beast, being able to 2HKO anything without a resistance to flying. Amazing speed, amazing attack, respectable defences, she's got it all. Shame she's not allowed more good coverage options….

Spr_4d_241.png

Thirsty the Miltank
Lvl 29
-Body Slam
-Zen Headbutt
-Rollout
-Milk Drink

Solo one gym leader, using Milk Drink as many times as the leader has pokemon (IMCOMPLETE)

Whoah, I was kinda expecting it but Thirsty is incredible. Great bulk, speed and attack make her very capable, and the Milk Drink restriction doesn't worry me at all. She can decimate pretty much any opponent. She would make Whitney proud.

Spr_4p_214_m.png

Triforce the Heracross
Lvl 29
-Headbutt
-Leer
-Counter
-Rock Tomb

Solo 25 flying types (COMPLETE)
Solo Morty (COMPLETE)

Triforce is starting to slip down the ranks, entirely because he doesn't have a STAB move to abuse. Still, his awesome attack stat makes up for it, and he has good defences and speed. Pretty decent all around.

Spr_4d_156.png

Starter the Quilava
Lvl 29
-Flame Wheel
-Ember
-Headbutt
-Quick Attack

Solo Falkner or Bugsy (COMPLETE)
Solo Morty or Pryce (INCOMPLETE)
Solo all Rocket Executives in the Radio Tower (INCOMPLETE)
Solo Brock or Misty (IMCOMPLETE)
Solo Blaine or Blue (INCOMPLETE)

Starter was pretty meh this chapter, mostly because of the abundance of water-types he had to face. His attack stat tends to be pretty mediocre, even when he is able to use his STAB Flame Wheel, so yeah. However, I'm expecting a jump in usefulness soon.

Spr_4d_095.png

DUMBO the Onix
Lvl 30
-Harden
-Dig
-Rock Polish
-Sandstorm

Solo Jasmine’s Steelix (INCOMPLETE)
Solo Lance (INCOMPLETE)

As with Starter, DUMBO wasn't very good due to the many water types in this chapter. However, she can tank special water attacks if she has to, under Sandstrom. I haven't used her since she got Rock Polish, but I'm expecting it to be highly inferior to Rock Throw, since she is already pretty fast. Pretty meh all around.

Spr_4h_163.png

I'mADoctor the Hoothoot
Lvl 31
-Air Slash
-Roost
-Take Down
-Hypnosis

Solo Chuck (COMPLETE)
Solo and E4 member the first time (INCOMPLETE)
Solo a different E4 member the second time (INCOMPLETE)

Whoah, I'mADoctor completely surprised me this chapter. With the addition of instant healing in the form of Roost, and two powerful attacks in Air Slash and Take Down, I'mADoctor is now a serious threat to any opposing pokemon. She did really well against Chuck, and I'm expecting a huge rise in power after evolution.

I know that you guys have been waiting a very looooooooooonnnnnnnnnnnggggggggggg time for this, so I present to you:

Chapter Two of my HeartGold Video Game Based Scramble

• I left Violet City to begin my trip to the next gym.
• I was given a Miracle Seed by some overly nice stranger (Why though?)
• Jim gets his first OHKO on a trainer's Pokemon!!!! (he was lv 16 vs a lv 6 Rattata =_=
• Does Shield Dust prevent Poison Point? 4X Tackled a Nidoran without getting poisoned.....
• He 4X Tackles a second Nidoran.........without getting poisoned O.o
• Jim!!!! Do you NOT remember what I told you??? DO NOT EVOLVE!!!!
• Argg!!!! A random trainer that I didn't see appeared!!!! I have to kill your sorry Pokemon now.......
• Jim, at lv 17, can only 3KO a lv 15 Magikarp D:
• The HAX gods love me :) Hypnosis has yet to hit me in this run :D
• *facepalm* Why do I keep forgetting that bird trainer just before Union Cave?
• Two Sand Attacks to the face, the foe's Pidgey is one attack away from being KO'd, can Jim do it?
• Yes, folks, yes he can!!!!
• I heal at the Pokecenter and enter Union Cave. Wild Zubat swarm, here we come!!!
• Yep, the first poke I see is a bat.......RUN!!!!!!
• Wow!! An Onix!!! Know what that means? RUN!!!!!
• A trainer's Vulpix that phazes? Joy, joy.....
• A hiker has a lv 11 Onix. I have.........a Caterpie and a Pidgey.......CRAP!!!!
• Oddly, the Onix just uses stat boosting and lowering moves.
• Jim 7KOs a level 11 Onix at lv 17 using only Bug Bite :(
• Jim!!! Stop that evolving!!! You know that it is FUTILE!!!!
• I agree with this firebreather here: Zubat confusing my Pokemon upsets me also...
• Cell!!! Don't you dare start this evolution process either!!!!
• Curse you Jim! Why can you not use Super Effective attacks? It would make beating this trainer's Slowpoke much easier....
• Light at the end of the cave!!! GO FOR IT!!!
• I witness Team Rocket bullying some random guy. Where is Officer Jenny??
• I now go heal at Azalea Town.
• I talk to Kurt, he babbles on, at I get pushed out of the way like a pile of garbage! What a jerk!!
• Entering Slowpoke Well!! Time to capture Wraith the Slowpoke!!
• Found Wraith!!! He died to a Critical Hit :( Begin the search again!!
• Caught Wraith!! She has a Mild Nature.......could be worse >_>
• Let's begin Wraith's training process.
• The egg hatched!!
• Backtrack to Professor Elm's and get the Everstone!!!
• Give the Everstone to Cell.
• Wraith's training is now complete!!
• Time to face off Team Rocket!!
• Are you guys serious??? You are the strongest evil team and all you can give me is a lv 7 Rattata??
• Battle with Team Rocket Executive Proton:

- Cell vs Zubat: Instant Transmission (Quick Attack) barely misses the KO and Supersonic misses. This allows Cell to finish it with a Tackle!
- Cell vs Koffing: Death Wave (Gust) hits, Smog misses, Death Wave hits again, Smog hits and poisons, and Tackle KOs!

• Overall - Lame is lame, Team Rocket. How did you guys ever become a threat?
• Kurt and I check on the Slowpoke and then he takes me to his home and gives me a Fast Ball.
• Stupid, old geezer didn't even bother to heal my Pokemon first....
• Time to enter the gym and beat the trainers!!!
• I ride the spiders, beat those trainers, leave the gym, heal, go back in, and get ready to face Bugsey!!
• Battle with Gym Leader Bugsey:

- Jim vs Scyther: He Leers at Jim as I Bug Bite (yay, I got rid of that Sitrus Berry!!). He U-Turns to Metapod as I switch in Wraith expecting a Quick Attack. U-Turn OHKOs.
- Jim vs Metapod: Bug Bite SPAM!!! Jim - 1/Metapod - 0
- Cell vs Scyther: I X-Defend as Scyther Focuses it's Energy. He gets a Critical Quick Attack as Cell uses Death Wave for less than I was hoping. I Super Potion as Scyther Quick Attacks. He Quick Attacks as Cell gusts him to the red. I'll scout his potion with a Super Potion. He doesn't use a Super Potion and he crits with a Quick Attack. I live through that. I Super potion again, but he Criticals and Cell dies :(
- My last Pokemon: Jim bs Scyther: Luckly for me, he U-Turns to Kakuna for about half damage :)
- Jim vs Kakunna: Bug Bite SPAM!! I need to save my Tackles. Shield Dust prevents poison HAX from Kakunna's Poison Sting :). I X-Attack and Accuracy to prevent Tackle's miss HAX and for Power. Kakunna goes down to three more Bug Bites!!!
- Final battle: Jim vs Scyther: I heal and he uses Focus Energy O_O Can a boosted Tackle KO? Will Scyther get a Critical? Will Jim even live? The audience is silent as both Pokemon make their moves......

Scyther U-Turns, Jim lives, Tackle KOs, and Jim levels up!!!! Not so broken now, are you, Scyther??

• Jim, you may now evolve :D
• He does so and everyone celebrates.
• I get the Hive Badge and U-Turn!!!!
• Time to heal and save :)

Now, here is my team. It is set from the MVP to the LVP. Enjoy :)

Wraith the Slowpoke:
Mild Nature
Own Tempo
Held Item: none
Level 19
Her moves:
- Wraith Bolt (Confusion)
- Boost Splatter (Tackle)
- Armor (Curse)
- Utility (Yawn)

Although she did not appear in any major battles and was OHKOed by U-Turn, she has tanked (pun intended) her way through many attackes and has KOd back.

Cell the Pidgey:
Bashful Nature
Keen Eye
Held Item: Everstone
Level 19
Moves:
- Instant Transmission (Quick Attack)
- Death Wave (Gust)
- Regeneration (Roost)
- Super Kamehameha (not learned yet. Currently Tackle)

Fast and strong, Cell rarely fails me. He stood his own in combat against Scyther.

Jim the Metapod:
Serious Nature
Shed Skin
Held Item: none
Level 20
Moves:
- Bug Bite
- Tackle
- String Shot
-

What did you expect from a level 20 Metapod? He has good physical durability now, but he still cannot do much. Come on Butterfree and Bug Buzz!!!

I found my second Platnium :D

I shall do a mono-flying run.

Be creative and FUN!!!

Do not be impossible with your restrictions. (Threadshot, I am looking at you).

Have fun giving me this mid-level challenge :D

KS, take Custom the Starly. It never went OU, and it hates Smogon for that. It wants to show the world it doesn't have to use well-known sets, and it can evolve when it learns one move from its CB set. As a Staravia, it is resentful of the standard move it learned, so it can not use it, but it can not forget it either. It must solo 25 pokes from the DP OU tier (you can use one poke more than once). It must also solo Gardenia's Roserade, Maylene's Lucario, and Wake's Gyarados to evolve again. These do NOT count for the 25. As a Staraptor, it fully embraces its anti-standard nature and is allowed to remove the move it learned to evolve into Staravia, and it may never learn another move from its choiced sets. It must also solo all other DP OU pokes in major battles (rival, gym leader, e4).

Good luck!

reserving for King Serperior.

King, take Mafia Boss the Murkrow!

This Murkrow secretly controls everyone else on your team, and it's moveset must reflect that!

First, it must have Double Team, and keep using that when it comes out until the opponent misses.

It must always have either Taunt or Torment, to express that it is the leader.

Because it is such a boss, it can have Prankster in Gen 4 and change the weather at will, so it must have a weather changing move at all times.

To not make this impossible, Mafia Boss can have an attacking move, but can only use it if he is faster. If you find out he is not, switch him out to protect his dignity.

To evolve, he must solo a Gym Leader after changing the weather.

Have fun!

KS, take Magikrap the Magikarp. It feels like is is crap, because it is not a Sunkern. It may not evolve until it solos seven trainers, to prove it is not crap. At this point, rename it Gyarakrap, and it can't use any physical moves or STAB. Unfortunately, it still can't beat Sunkern.

Nice, KS. I really liked it. Also, I'd like to reserve a pokemon for you.

EDIT: KS, take Drifter the Driftloon. Drifter is a drifter, and such has different restrictions depending upon the type of the opponent Drifter is facing:

Normal: Drifter hates normal types, and such must solo them with normal-type moves, showing them how annoying normalness is.

Fire: Fire helps drifter go higher, and such can only use flying type moves on them, unless they are NVE against flying. In that case, Drifter is choice-locked.

Water: Drifter loves to float above water, and such cannot KO one, unless Drifter is your last pokemon.

Electric: Drifter is deathly scared of Electric types, but wants to show them who's boss. So, Drifter must use Explosion on them after level 51, and Drifter must explode on one of Volkner's pokemon at level 51.

Grass: Drifter nonchalantly ignores grass types, so no restrictions.

Ice: Drifter hates the Ice type, and such must solo 5 of them, including 1 of Candace's pokemon.

Fighting: Drifter doesn't care about fighting types, and such must immeadiately switch out against them.

Poison: Drifter is worried he will be poisoned, and if he is ever poisoned, he must immediatly be healed, and then cannot face the next 10 poison types.

Ground: Drifter doesn't have to worry about the ground, and such must use a flying type move on them then switch out to show them that flying is better than ground.

Flying: Flying is one of Drifter's STABs, and such has no restrictions.

Psychic: Drifter hates being grounded by psychics, and such must switch out if hit by a psychic type move.

Bug: Drifter loves to squish bugs, and such must solo every one he comes in to face.

Rock: Drifter has always been afraid of rocks, and such must solo 5 of them.

Ghost: Drifter's main STAB, and such no restrictions.

Dragon: Drifter loves the noble dragons, and such must tank 1 Dragon type move before switching out.

Dark: Drifter hates darkness, and such must learn an electric type move and use it against them before switching out.

Steel: Drifter doesn't mind the cool steel type, but wants to be friends. Solo 1 of Byron's pokemon.

No matter what, Drifter must solo 1 E4 pokemon from 3 members, and such must know

An electric type move, a flying type move, a status move, and Explosion.

Finally, Drifter must win 2 contests of each type to evolve. Good luck!

(Also, Driftloon can be changed for any flying type)

Are you allowing trades?

Well, anyway, you can take a Zubat. Zubat knows that the whole point of being a Zubat is to cause confusion; so it will only attack opponents who are currently confused. Keep Supersonic until you learn Confuse Ray, then keep that forever. If you run across any Own Tempo Pokémon Zubat gets pretty cross with them, and must solo all of them (you can ignore the only attack confused Pokémon rule for this). It can evolve into Golbat once it's soloed any enemy trainer by causing all of their Pokémon to KO themselves with nothing but self inflicted confusion damage (i.e. Zubat can't use any attacking moves against them other than Supersonic/Confuse Ray). As a Golbat, it knows that it needs to be happy to evolve, but it's not sure that's it's ready for it yet; in fact, it starts out not feeling happy at all! When it evolves to Golbat, drop its happiness to 0 (using the herbal medicine/trading). Wirk your way back up without using any special methods (no grooming/luxury ball/cycling up and down specifically for happiness/soothe bell/EV berries/vitamins). When it finally evolves to Crobat, it's so happy it wants the whole world to know! Teach it Return, and make sure you use it in every battle!

Take a Mantyke called Remoraid. It was searching for its best friend, a Remoraid, when their souls were swapped by a Manaphy. So now, it may only learn moves that Remoraid can learn. What a pity! To switch back, solo Wake. Now Mantyke can use his own moves again, but he still can't find his buddy. To evolve into Mantine, catch a Remoraid and win the fishing contest on the route between the Lake Resort and Sunyshore.

Have fun!
