i'm not debating whether the goal was legal or not, i'm saying some refs use their whistle more than others, what i'm arguing is that it was a goddamn cheap goal. but hey, that's just how football is i guess

and nope, the ref can very well make the player repeat the free kick (or whatever's at hand), just like he can make a player repeat a penalty under certain circumstances

That's not just how football is, is what life is. Doesnt matter if its cheap, as long as it is legal and effective

1. Fabianski messed up

2. The ref should have held the ball until the field settled and shouldn't have given it to the Porto player

3. The Arsenal players still messed up badly though
 
Ajax-Juventus 1-2, very undeserved. The referee was against Ajax, Ajax was better and Juve was luckier. Ajax deserved two penaltys. Ajax deserved to win.
 
Everton won 3-1 against Manchester United on Goodison Park. Chelsea and Arsenal both won their matches 2-0, which means that Manchester United have 4 points less then Chelsea and 2 points more then Arsenal.

This isn't looking good. Chelsea have to lose points soon, or else no title this year for Manchester United :S But I have faith
 
yay Man U lost! For once they get what the results they always deserve.

Man U's defence suck right now. Let's hope Ferdinand and Vidic are heavily injured

Everton were just better than Man Utd today sadly, can't have any complaints. Berbatov was our most lively player though and Rooney had an off day, so I don't see why Berbatov was the one to be taken off. Rooney may have been in incredible form lately, but if a striker had to come off I think it should have been Rooney.

This heats up the title race with Chelsea and Arsenal both winning, but Man Utd is far from out of it. However, I will say right now that if Man Utd lose another game in the Premier League this season, then Chelsea will be the champions. United have to go undefeated and most likely beat Chelsea and Liverpool, as well as perhaps Tottenham and Man City if they're to win the League.
 
game reviewers say that pes 2010 is infinitely superior to fifa 10

haven't tried fifa 10 yet, but that's how it's always been, fifa 10 wins in graphics, pes 2010 wins in gameplay and everything else
 
i dunno, it may just be me, but i've always preferred playing with 'Liverpool' or 'Arsenal' rather than 'Merseyside Red' or 'London North'.

anyway, i'm looking forward to liverpool vs man city today, shame it's not on sky.
 
lol fifa 10 has been cited as the better of the two for the last two years hands down. pes has nothing on fifa at the moment. you can tell the difference in quality simply by looking at youtube videos.
 
Liverpool vs Manchester City: 0-0 in a very boring game with no real goal scoring opportunities. Liverpool should have won to get to the top 4. At least Man U lost.

edit: fifa 10 > PES by far
 
I personally think Fifa is better since it has a nice variety of clubs and teams.

Cant believe United lost to Everton, but everton were miles better :(
 
Fifa and PES are completely different games, the whole no licensing for PES does not really bother me as there are some excellent option files out there.


PES has its flaws but Fifa's run through everyone and gimmick trick stick is not as good as the reviewers seem to think, PES takes a lot of time to get the advanced gameplay down.

Fifa is the better casual play with friends game though.

Who is everyone backing for 4th place btw.

I'll watch it :D, Stuttgart plays good in the last time, they have a new coach, and the have won the last games in the Bundesliga (on weekend they won 5:1 against Cologne)

Well I think this will be an interest game it's a good chance for Stuttgart because they have the first game on there own stadium.

we'll see! :D
