Italy will win, Toni will miss 99 chances and score his 100th chance with the help of a deflection off Puyol. You heard it here first.
 
All my predictions so far have been shit. :( Notice how I said Croatia would beat Turkey 2-1 and Holland would beat Russia 3-1, the real scores were complete opposites so I'm hoping Spain beats Italy and has an easy game with Russia in the semis to meet the Germans in the finals. All of the favorites have lost so far except maybe the Portugal-Germany game, I wouldn't call either of those much better than the other.

Hoping for a Germany-Spain final, even though I'll be rooting for Turkey I don't see any way they'll beat the Germans with odds this stacked up against them, and I'm thinking they might be out of miracles for one tournament. Hopefully I'm wrong like I have been so far. :)

I'm pleased to see Di Natale miss his penalty. Completely unnecessary to roll off the pitch then roll back on. The game was stop-starty enough as it is without stuff like that too.

Glad to see Spain break their June 22nd penalty curse.

Yeah, when I heard that I thought Spain would definitely lose. The penalties in this match were actually really good especially compated to Croatia's the other night.

I can't believe it. When the match went into penalties, I thought that it was all over for Spain.

Also, I love Casillas. And when I say "love", I mean sweet, sweet love.

I had a funny feeling Spain would pull through, but Russia are sure to beat them. I'm not saying anything about the Germany-Turkey game though. On paper Germany shouldn't have a problem but damn, Turkey just don't know when they're beat.
 
I know Russia had that game against Holland, but i don't see them getting past a team that have already beaten them 4-1 this tournament. Granted Arshavin wasn't playing but i doubt he will make that much difference.

I am gonna go with Germany winning over Spain in the finals.

You're underestimating Arshavin, he's a really determinant player. I'm confident that Spain will win the semifinals, since Russia's worst line, their static defenders, can be easily exploited by our style of play, but that doesn't mean it will be even half as easy as the first match.

I think nobody (including myself) trusted Spain because they rarely win on the important games, on the other hand, Italy can have bad starts but on knock out rounds they improve.

The game wasn't bright, but Casillas was on the game and the pk.
 
Well you gotta give Russia some credit on this front, they've been fucking amazing this tournament and I think they're gonna pull it off over Spain and (maybe) Germany.
Getting a 3-1 win over the Orange Crush is no small feat, I tell you that much. They'll go far.
But Spain is a wildcard too, wouldn't mind seeing them beat Germany either.

That was a different Russian team. Before, they had no defences and we're completely offence-oriented. Take a look at their game against the Dutch. Just that one slip-up which they've been improving on lead to Nistelrooy's superb header. Other than that, you have to admit Russia has changed since their defeat against Spain.
 
If Russia waste anywhere near as many chances against Spain as they did against Holland I think they'll go out. However it's sure to be a much better game than yesterday so I don't really care who wins. I will predict Spain to win though.

Turkey - Germany could be an amazing game aswell, but I think Turkey have overexerted themselves to get to this point, injuries + suspensions mean I'm predicting Germany.
