Arsenal 2-0 up against Spurs. Actions speak louder than words.
EDIT: 3-0, now 2nd place in the Premier league, only 2 points behind Chelsea, don't write us off.

AC Milan has the game in the bag. 1-0 and they've had ball control almost the whole time.

Can't wait for the Inter game tomorrow. I haven't watched my team in awhile..

Yo, any Villa fans about?
And if so, are we playing the most boring football ever or what?
And elettricita, a low score draw on the Chelsea-Man U game, I just can't see either losing, and I don't think either of these teams cna win without playing a margin over the other... but Chelsea could have the best of the match.

what an uttey horrible decision against fletcher AGAIN last night, booked for diving, when he was clearly tripped in the box.

Yeah, that was a stone wall penalty for sure. Horrible decision, but at least it didn't cost us early qualification in the end. However, it does put a little more pressure on the team selection for the Besiktas game, as we'll have to win that to keep our safety net on winning the group. Most likely a win in Manchester vs Besiktas and a draw away to Wolfsburg.

The Chelsea - Man Utd game is quite difficult to predict, you'd have to say Chelsea are playing better at the moment, but for this kind of game, form doesn't matter as much. We're due a win at Stamford Bridge now, but I honestly don't think it'll come on Sunday. So I'm going to say a possible low score draw. 1-1, or a 2-2 if both teams play a little more open than we're used to in the big games.

I'd be happy to just not lose this match and get on with it. Man Utd are always strong over the Christmas period and I'd expect us to take close to maximum points from the end of November through January.

As long as Man U don't get lucky in extra time like they have in 3 games so far now against Chelsea, I'll be happy to draw with Man U, but still hoping for a win for Chelsea. I'll hopefully be back at my house in time to watch most of it.

Utd don't get "lucky" in extra time. We just flood everyone forward. If not for a stupid referee decision re Fletcher we'd probably have won that easily (and with some less retarded defending for the second and third goals)

Everton - Benfica just ended, 0-2.
I must say it was much better disputed than the first game, specially in the first half, the game could have gone either way. Benfica's first goal changed the pace, but I congratulate the toffees for the fight they put up.
I was actually supposed to be at goodison's today, but I had to cancel it...

Arsenal 2-0 up against Wolves, I was a bit worried at first with Wolves outplaying us but that nice bit of luck has put us in the driving seat.
EDIT: 4-1, pretty happy with that.

Really wanna twat Chelsea today... Apparently there's no Vidic and Berbatov but Brown is a great CB on his day and Evans played well against Drogba last season, so I'm not overly concerned.

I think

VDS
O'Shea, Evans, Brown, Evra
Fletcher, Anderson, Carrick, Giggs
Owen, Rooney

or

VDS
O'Shea, Evans, Brown, Evra
Fletcher, Carrick, Anderson
Valencia, Rooney, Nani

I hope Fletcher is on the right since I think that Valencia's lack of a left foot will mean he'll get destroyed by Cole, and also Fletcher has a good height advantage coming off the back post. And we'll need bodies to stop Chelsea's "lol let's play 4 centre midfielders" tactic.

Edit:

I think I found the teams

Code:
VDS

O'Shea
Brown
Evans
Evra

Fletcher
Carrick
Anderson

Rooney
Giggs
Valencia

Vidic, Owen, Scholes, Fabio, Obertan, Gibson, Kusczak

Cech

Ivanovic
Terry
Carvalho
Cole

Essien
Ballack
Lampard
Deco

Anelka
Drogba

Can't believe the garbage I just saw from the ref and the linesmen. Rooney wrongly called offside when clean through 100%, non-existant foul when Fletcher clearly won the ball cleanly for their goal and somehow not spotting Drogba layeth the smackdown on Wes Brown in the process, not stopping play with two head injuries when Chelsea are attack but stopping play when John Terry was clutching his balls as soon as Utd got the ball, Lampard twice holding Valencia back blatantly when breaking through, BLATANT Lampard handball overlooked. Also, John Terry clearly taking out and falling on to Valencia in the box was a penalty.

Edit: and from BBC

"1758: Funny finish, that - referee Martin Atkinson played exactly five minutes of injury time, despite Chelsea taking about a minute to send Alex on for Nicolas Anelka in stoppage time. But the Blues hang on for the win - and is that a decisive blow in the 2009-10 title race?"

You couldn't make it up. Obviously, booking Drogba for taking a boot to the chest is another retarded decision but the balance of ref decisions was beyond ridiculous. The better team in that match was the team in red, (21 shots, 7 corners to 0) fantastic displays from the midfield three, on another day, a less myopic ref we'd have won that.

Ref was an absolute joke today, and the fact that he probably won't receive any kind of punishment for that performance is even more ridiculous.

If Chelsea win the league by anything less than 6 points, give Martin Atkinson a Premier League winners medal as well.

And if you even pointed out the things he got wrong in a rational fashion, you can bet that Sir Alex would get a 5 match touchline ban knowing the FA

i saw one of the lampard haul downs, that was a rediculous desicion, it was as obvious as you like, and the ref stopping play when terry was down was dumb, 2 chelsea player creashed into each other, not a head injury, play on until united get a break going.
but then it is chelsea, where hauling down players and handballing is legal... unless you are the visitors.

And now all the chelsea supporters and ManUtd haters are going to come and say "Don't whine, you sucked, blah blah blah I'm retarded" or something....

Seriously, the refereeing in the big games this season has been quite pathetic. FA, hope you do something about it!

Chelsea's much talked-about Diamond got owned by Fletcher and co.... Chelsea may play brilliantly with their Diamond, but United turned up with a Diamond cutter :)

liverpool 2-2 birmingham, only watched first half, liverpool dominated and went in 2-1 down, from what i read liverpool equilised with a "fortunate penalty".
if liverpool keep this up, only championship liverpool will see... is coca cola chamionship
