Ricardo looks so vulnerable to crosses and corners. The Czechs did get a few good chances in open play, they just didn't take them, I remember Baros taking it away from Sionko and Sionko forcing Ricardo to tip his header over the bar.

It wasn't just their set-plays that caused Portugal trouble, but Portgal deserved the win anyway.

Anyone watching the Swiss match? The pitch is close to waterlogged, the ball isn't rolling at all. Quite funny really.

Didn't Real pay £20m for Pepe, he looks like Phillipe "Where's Torres?" Senderos.
Ricardo is crap at anything that isn't named penalties.

Portugal played well in the second half but a better attacking team may exploit Pepe and Ricardo.

What's surprising is that the pitch is like that.... in an EURO match. They need better draining systems. Euro 2004 didn't have this problem although I don't recall whether it rained or not.

Also yeah Ricardo is pretty "vulnerable" to crosses, if Quim wasn't off the list, he'd have made it onto the initial 11.

Brazil, Portugal, and now Chelsea - not a terrible run if I must say so myself. Chelsea should be pleased with their new established manager.

I wonder how he'll fair at club level, though. With transfers, alot of cash at his disposal (thanks, Roman!) and close to 50 games a season. This shall be interesting!

Awesome. Turkey managed to clinch the game at the end. After seeing the Czech play today I'm not so sure Turkey can beat them.

If the game ends in a draw, how is a winner decided? They both have the same goal difference but Czech scored against Portugal while Turkey scored against Switzerland.
