2-0 now. Man U pretty much out of it? I haven't seen the whole game so I have no idea how well both sides have been playing.

From listening to it on the radio it's definitely not all arsenal, man utd have missed some good chances but arsenal seemed to be suprisingly resilient (especially in contrast to last seasons encounters with man utd/lpool/chelsea).
Who would've thunk.
20mins to go and tevez just coming on.

We played shit; similarily, Fergie's tactically shit. Why the fuck did he bring Giggs on? Giggs loses the ball 3 times. It's so fucking frustrating! Leave Anderson the fuck on!

Good goal from Rafael. I have nothing to comment on the possession we had, considering we did nothing worthwhile with it.

Just came back from the game, was absolutely fantastic! Glad to have got Nasri scoring for us right - he's definately making up for Cesc's lack of goals. ,My lineup prediction was almost right, however we played more like this :

-----------------Almunia
Sagna-----Silvestre-----Gallas-----Clichy
-----------------Denilson---------------
--------------------------Cesc---------
Walcott------Diaby----------------Nasri
-----------------Bendtner--------------

We domiated Central midfield imo, and Diaby and Cesc linked up to great affect. Cesc had much of the defensive duty taken off his shoulders, as Denilson finally sussed out he should drop back and put in some excellent tackles.

Neville in particular was absolutely woeful today, and Clichy and Nasri were pretty much free to do whatever they want. Fergie's substitutions were also baffling - after going 2-0 down, surely Park shouldve been taken off and Tevez/Nani brought on? Instead, Giggs was placed in central midfield, and Man Utd were taking long balls which, ironically, we dealt with excellently. Not that I'm complaining!

Oh god, I laughed so hard at my Manchester United supporting friend when Nasri (?) smashed in the second goal.

1. Chelsea, Pts: 26 GD: +23
2. Liverpool, Pts: 26 GD: +8
3. Arsenal, Pts: 23 GD: +12
4. Manchester United, Pts: 21 GD: +10

Lol, Hull can go ahead of Man U if they win.

Bendtner = lol

EDIT: On IRC, I was talking to Pillowrath about how Keane needs to score more goals. I sure got my wish, lol.

If you think Keane was overpriced, what do you think of Berbatov's fee? I much prefered the Rooney/Tevez partnership.

Berbatov > Keane.

Berba has 5 goals and 5 assists and was marginally offside at the weekend. Despite not having a full pre-season. Robbie Keane wouldn't dream of doing the Berbaturn against West Ham.

who actually claimed Keane to be better than Berbatov? Keane has never been prolific as Berbatov and the difference in the transfer fee further suggests that.

I know he didnt ask that but the difference in price tag reflects the difference in quality between the two strikers, which was what Taylor was originally talking about.

Also Utd vs QPR, should be simple as our youngsters are much better than last year's Coventry debacle, looking forward to seeing Rafael, Possebon, Welbeck and Evans in particular and hell even a glimpse of Manucho could be in line.

Prediction 4-1.

Another pretty poor performance from us really, but at least we're in the next round. Would like to win this trophy again really, even if it's not as special as the others.

Lol liverpool currently losing 3-0 to the scum.

Would like to play Utd in the next round, would be intresting to see how we line up vs them

Glad to see Fraizer Campbell bagging two goals so far, let's hope he gets a hat-trick :)

3-1 now though ._.

lol just got up to see the score and i am glad we lost. its a rubbish cup that i couldnt care less about. More chance to rest for the dudes!

Chelsea and Liverpool out is still awesome ahahaha

Fancy United to win this cup again now :)

Be aware of Arsenal's young-gunners. ;x

I watched the Tottenham match, and it was fantastically exciting. Full of entertainment, although the goals were crammed together in the space of about 30 minutes.

Gomez, who Tottenham recruited in the summer, was a terrible signing for Spurs. He is a horrible keeper. I'll be blatenly honest with you -- he makes VDS come off as an immaculate, top-form keeper.

A superb meeting between Manchester United and Stoke.

We played exeptionally well, with a fantastic result to show.

Two goals for Ronaldo, one for Carrick, Berbatov and Welbeck.

Yeh, good day really.

We finally "hammered" a team this season, it's been coming with all the chances we were creating, so it's good to see. Arsenal are probably out of the race now, with another defeat already. Beating us is now pretty meaningless and it's going to take a lot for them to challenge for the title.

Bolton wasted chances against Liverpool, and Liverpool managed to take two of theirs, but oh well. I've been watching the Chelsea game, West Brom were the better side in the first 15 minutes, but they missed chances which you can't afford to do in this league, especially against the big teams. So they're 0-3 down at half time, when they've actually played it rather well.

Yeah, I forgot to say Liverpool missed a lot of chances as well. But Bolton created just as many really, a lot of wasting in that match, but more so from Bolton.
