Since its Calm nature, i thought it would need more defense evs than sp def evs, giving it a few sp def evs lets it take special hits too, so both counter and mirror coat work to the fullest. Im figuring recover over mud slap.

240 hp ivs is equally divided by 16, fitting the hp IV. Since its calm, i gave it a few sp attk ivs, so it can hit decently with surf, considering mine didnt have all the sp attk in the world even with quiet, thats why i said decent.
 
That sounds pretty good. lemme plug it into shoddy so I can see the final stats. are you sure 240 is the right HP number? I have a 29 IV...

you did say the 29 iv worked with the lefties recovery, right? if the hp evs arent right i can switch them around a bit.

Hm, shot in the dark, to make up for the 29 hp iv, take off 12 from defense and add that to hp, giving an artificial 31 hp iv.
only do this if i was wrong.

gives you-
252 hp, 188 defense, 58 sp def, 12 sp attk.

EDIT: put in 244 hp, 196 defense, 58 sp def, 12 sp attk
this gives you maximum recovery
 
I'm gonna go with 220HP just for magic lefties number without any EV's wasted. Then I'll split defenses. So it will look like this:

EVs: 220HP|231Def|58Spdef

Stats at lvl 100: 416HP (lefties number)|230Def|235Spdef

Thanks Persian and Rice (for helping on AIM). I'll EV it tonight and you can each have one for free when I'm done. =)

Persian - its free, you really dont have to give me credits. and its not redistributable. I'm training it right now.
