So sad about Merle. Officially redeemed in my books ;-;

Shit is about to go down next episode. Rick's group is pretty pathetic ATM

Talking Dead; I feel like because the Gov actor is actually British. It makes me not want to connect the two and have me hating him.
 
Rick and the Gov are both British, and Maggie is Australian. It's crazy to hear them speak in their normal accents.

Merle obviously going out like a boss. This last ep should be pretty ridiculous.
 
I wonder what parts of the comics theyll be putting into the season finale.

Morgan is british as well.

also, poor Ben getting shot by Merle, and then eaten after.

also, Motorhead and Ted Nugent back to back, Merle had a good music taste, thats for sure :P
 
Man, I never thought Merle would redeem himself... He totally did though. I still fucking hate Andrea for pussying out on killing the governor....
 
to be fair the show would probably be boring as fuck without the governer. unless i guess martinez takes over but would he really be as bad??

also i was kinda surprised there were 0 mentions of andrea after the end of last weeks episode
 
I never cared for Andrea but when she died it kinda hurt. Seeing Michonne cry was as bad as seeing Daryl cry. :(

And now the long wait begins. :(

I picked the wrong show to watch tonight ... dropped the ball on the finale imo

Seemed more like a midseason finale than season finale.

Where the hell did the governor go? I feel we haven't seen the last of him. It's just that he can't really do anything now..
 
i thought it was good. i came close to crying with andrea's death which is ironic since i wanted her to die all season (actually more like the whole entire show).
 
Yea i thought she was just some stupid bitch, especially when she didn't kill the governor. I'm really miserable now though

Finale was really meh. The Gov going off on those people reallllly had me stunned and a 'holy shit' moment.

All those old ass people now in the prison. What a great community.
 
Yea, I used to totally ignore all of the Walking Dead's plot holes and glaring mistakes just because I figured "this show has so much potential and if they just clean it up some more it could be genius."

It's been like 3 seasons and I am just not feeling the payoff. Especially after this season finale. I didn't wait for the entire season to build up to nothing but Andrea dying. It is becoming extremely difficult for me to continue defending all of the show's missteps.

Here's to hoping season 4 won't completely slaughter momentum in the way season 3 did.
 
I felt Carl wasn't entirely wrong in his action. The kid was holding his gun at a weird angle when he was told to put it down. I don't know, I feel I would've panicked too but he didn't really panic. He said himself he did it because he didn't want to slip away like so many other people that have come back to fuck the group. I mean I guess what I mean is that I felt that the angle of the gun being handed over + a quick reaction would've been more morally grey and debatable than the almost unanimously disagreed upon decision to shoot him to prevent something that may not happen.
 
I thought the finale was incredibly average. While there were a few good scenes it left me kinda saying "thats it?" especially after they spent the entire season building up to it. Season 3 as a whole is now pretty disappointing imo, I really hope the show picks up again
 
I don't get the Carl hate though ... I felt he had some of the strongest character moments that episode. So much potential for him to go full crazy soon ... and its entirely justified

Do you guys have any speculation of what will happen? I have no idea how the governor can make a come back. Ironically the groups biggest weakness i can see is them having so many people and not all of them being very contributing.
