Hey guys, whats up. Anyways, I made a new team after reading about Jolly Wobbafett destroying walls. So, naturally I decided to exploit this cheap strategy. I refuse to use the brokenness that is Garchump, so I welcome any new wall breaking strategies I can get my hands on.
Here we go! SUPER MARIO
Mesprit @ CHOICE SCARF!!
76 HP / 166 Def / 92 Satk / 240 Spe
Timid
Thunderbolt
Ice Beam
Psychic
U-Turn
Mesprit counters most leads, except Scarfed Gengar... >:( Tbolt for Gyarados, Ice Beam for dragons, Psychic for Infernape, Heracross and STAB. U-Turn helps me scout and get in Wobbuffet unharmed. This spread makes it really bulky, much tougher than Starmie, and it can still counter what it needs to with 269 Satk.
Wobbuffet @ Leftovers
28 HP / 246 DEF / 236 Spe
Jolly
Counter
Mirror Coat
Encore
Tickle (LOL)
Yes, here it is, folks. The most annoying pokemon on the face of the planet. Hey, it's nicer to look at than some of the OU pokes we use nowadays, but his plain, blue, saluting silhouette will be burned into your nightmares for many years to come. Any wall, be it Skarmory, Bronzong, Hippowdon, or Blissey, is gonna get tickled repeatedly until I feel Tyranitar is ready to "have his way with them". You'll soon see why I want these pokemon out of the picture... the problem of being wall-less when I bring out my ace-in-the-hole will be a difficult situation indeed.
Tyranitar @ CHOICE BAND
252 HP / 40 Atk / 218 Sp. Def
Careful
Pursuit
EQ
Stone Edge
Crunch
HA HA!! This is so much fun to use... and it requires no effort whatsoever. Only "skarmary" (will that noob cat guy ever get that right) has a chance of surviving a -6 def Pursuit, and the Stealth Rock damage will kill him the next time it shows up. Other moves are basically filler.
Gliscor @ Leftovers
244 HP / 50 Def / 216 Spe
Impish Nature
Ice Fang
Earthquake
Swords Dance / U-Turn?
Roost
I tested the EV spread, and Impish with 216 Speed gives more defense than Jolly with 116 Speed. He outruns SDluke and kills it easily. Still has very nice defense, (352 HP, 327 DEF) so he still stops Heracross. After the physical walls are dead, he can attempt a sweep with Swords Dance, Roost and Sand Veil hax. It HAS happened before, so you bettah recognize sweeping Gliscor.
U-Turn would dent Celebi more (I hate all Celebi except my own) and help bring in Wobb more often, but SD is really funny when it works.
Porygon-Z @ Leftovers/Silk Scarf?/Wiseglasses?
36 HP / 28 Def / 194 Spe / 252 Satk
Modest
Tri Attack
HP Fighting
Dark Pulse
Agility
Here it is, Agili-Z!! Outruns Scarfgar after an Agility, which also means it outruns everything else. 526 speed people. With Blissey dead, pretty much everything is easy pickings for Porygon-Z. Wobbafett and Ttar remove all the bulky pokemon, so all that's left is some frail, half dead sweepers. Life Orb, Sandstorm and Stealth Rocks should leave them all in KO range. HP Fighting finishes off Tyranitar and hits Magnezone. Dark Pulse for those ghosts, Tri Attack maims everyone else.
Jirachi @ Leftovers
252 HP / 218 Def / 40 Spe
Jolly
U-Turn
Wish
Stealth Rock
Body Slam
I gave this pokemon 270 speed. I wanted to outrun Heracross, but I may go for 280 to finish off weakened Lucarios as well. You guys know the rest; flinch hax and whatnot. So many Garchomps switch into this and Swords Dance greedily, and then they get paralyzed. This is when I U-Turn to Gliscor on the Earthquake, and he finishes the Garchomp for me. Mesprit revenge kills chomp nicely too.
