What are your top five favorite bands of all time?
Mine are:

5. The Who
 
For all time:

1) Dream Theater
2) Symphony X
3) Scar Symmetry
4) Porcupine Tree
5) Opeth

Lately, I have been really into: Symphony X, Ensiferum, Dark Tranquility, Into Eternity, Soilwork, Scar Symmetry, Wintersun, Rush and Kaddisfly more than ever.
 
This is easy, I decided on a Top 5 about a year ago and I don't think it will ever change:

1. Hum
2. Cursive
3. Built to Spill
4. The Appleseed Cast
5. Minus the Bear

The Smashing Pumpkins almost make the list because for about 7 years of my life they were my favorite band.

3. Twilightning
4. Metallica
5. Machinae Supremacy

However, being a teen still in puberty, it may and WILL change over time I guess

The rest I can't really say which I like most, but it'd include Rachel's, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Dead Can Dance, The Cranberries, Jack Wall, Sigur Rós, Set Fire to Flames and a few others for sure. My top fave change a lot but I usually listen to the same bands for a long time.
