Top five bands?

My top 5 list changes often, but currently I'm leaning towards:
1. U2
2. Bob Dylan
3. Bruce Springsteen
4. Depeche Mode
5. Van Morrison

Though, I like a wide variety of music, so naming just 5 hardly does justice to my vast taste. ;p

I like the whole lo-fi feel of it. The only song in Aeroplane that I felt came close to this was The King of Carrot Flowers, Pts. 2 & 3. I also like the more experimental side of Invent Yourself a Shortcake. I still like Aeroplane, and I think it's a solid, conceptual album, but I just think the older stuff's better.

i have no real favorite bands, it kinda varies, but those are the bands i listen frequently at the moment

i only found out about porcupine tree recently, everyone here listens to them so i decided to listen to some of their stuff and i must say that they are awesome.

i dont really listen to system of a down anymore, but they used to be my favorite band for some time, so they get the 5th spot on the list
