Hold up...has anyone tried a battle between Toxtricity and Steelix?

Yes, I know Steelix is currently RU, but unless Toxtricity has a way to get around its typing, I believe it would be completely shut down if they got into a match. Steel completely shuts down Poison, and Ground shuts down Electric and nails both Electric and Ground.

Methinks Steelix could definitely counter Toxtricity hard, if given the chance.

First of all, you'd need to invest heavily in Special Defense to stand a chance, because Boomburst hurts like hell even with the resist.

Even with max investment, Boomburst still stings for something without recovery.

You also might as well just use Sp. Def Excadrill, who has better special bulk, has Rapid Spin, and still has decent power.
