The best set i guest is specs..
Toxtricity typing gives you opportunities to switch in walls like Pex, G-Weezing, Clef, allowing you to spam heavy Punk Rock busted moves like Overdrive and Boomburst
I use This set

Toxic (Toxtricity-Low-Key) @ Choice Specs
Ability: Punk Rock
EVs: 252 SpA / 4 SpD / 252 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Boomburst
- Overdrive
- Volt Switch
- Sludge Wave

Are there any possible move sets that utilize the hidden ability Technician? I'm seeing everything favoring the Punk Rock ability

Punk Rock is special and better than Technician.. Technician boost low power moves, when Punk Rock bust heavy power moves like Boomburst and Overdrive, also PR have defensive utility defending again another sound moves user, making Ditto useless to revenge kills him. Also sound moves ignore Sub, wich is a normal move to block Ditto shenanigans

Struggling with finding the perfect mixed set to deal with my friends stall team hoping to have moves to handle both toxapex and ferrothorn so fire punch and a strong electric move seem like a necessity. But would rather not go for a physical attack route

The set in the OP seems to do exactly what you're asking for.

But there's plenty of viable, better stall breakers to pick from.

if it gets in future Parabolic Charge , Leech life and Drain Punch then it will be dangerous.

Weird that Overdrive lacks effect like they planed it to use G-max but it's hard to catch...

Boomburst potential, with Ion deluge, electrify... Its body has spikes, maybe spikz shield or baneful bunker here in future?

Stupid, but Snore is a soundbased move to be boosted by Punk Rock lol. Could try running a bulky Rest/Snore set for some fun gimmicks

... or you can run a RestTalk set with Boomburst instead of Snarl.

Boomburst is much stronger than STAB Sludge Wave and it doesn't get much, if any, special coverage so it doesn't sound that crazy...

Uh guys, I just wanna mention for breeding purposes, i got an egg while it was raining and it literally took me like 100 steps to hatch a toxel. I hatched another egg to see what's up and in thunderstorms or rain, toxel hatch quicker. Literally just rode my bike a little away from the nursery by the bridge in the wild area and right back and it hatched, no flame body in party or anything.

Just a quick PSA for people breeding their perfect mons.

So, is it oficially a great special wallbreaker?
Honestly, it is pretty subpar for OU standards. It will likely settle in a lower tier, where it will be much more effective given how strong it can be. In OU, it is still walled by Pokemon like Ferrothorn and it also lacks sufficient speed or bulk, which most good wallbreakers need at least one of, unfortunately. Perhaps it will have some viability moving forward, but not a lot and it will be best off in lower tiers.

Toxtricity has a niche in being able to switch into Toxapex and Clef very well and even with a 1.3 boost Boomburst still does big damage so I think it can be used on webs teams but probably a C+ mon in term of viability.

Toxtricity @ Choice Specs
Ability: Punk Rock
EVs: 24 HP / 252 SpA / 232 Spe
Modest Nature
IVs: 0 Atk
- Overdrive
- Sludge Wave
- Boomburst
- Shift Gear

this is the set I've been using, seems weird having shift gear on a specs set but the idea is wallbreak early game with specs boosted attacks then when the switchins are weakened/removed you shift gear then dynamax, thus ignoring the choice item restrictions and blow through the remaining pokemon. Sadly weather pokemon still outpace you, speed is for scarf hydra and slower.

Won't Dynamaxing remove the sound attribute from your moves as well as removing the choice specs buff? You hit with significantly less power when Dynamaxed.

Also you only have 3 turn bc is dynamax where off you are lock again in Shift Gear

Just to put it out there, I've had it put in some decent work on the battle stadium singles ladder with a nuzzle, hex, assault vest set. Its multiple defensive resistances allow you to take on a good number of special attackers, and nuzzle cripples non ground switch-ins while letting it out speed things:

Toxtricity @ Assault Vest
Ability: Punk Rock
Level: 50
EVs: 252 HP / 252 SpA / 4 SpD
Modest Nature
- Nuzzle
- Boomburst
- Hex
- Overdrive

Hex will 3hko a statused ferrothorn not running max spe def investment (4hko with max spe def)

Hold up...has anyone tried a battle between Toxtricity and Steelix?

Yes, I know Steelix is currently RU, but unless Toxtricity has a way to get around its typing, I believe it would be completely shut down if they got into a match. Steel completely shuts down Poison, and Ground shuts down Electric and nails both Electric and Ground.

Methinks Steelix could definitely counter Toxtricity hard, if given the chance.
