It seems like the amount of trolls in the stream is at a record high now, although they aren't coordinated and only seem determined to do whatever doesn't yield progress.
Red reached Viridian more than a day ago. Since then he has been spinning around town, going as far back as Pallet, going into Viridian forest, exiting it again, and skipped the ledge outside Viridian Gym a couple of times. At one point, he was inside the Gym, but left it after beating some of the trainers.
It seems like some want to rely entirely on Pallet Town for healing and item/PC handling, since it involves no risk of releasing anything. Depositing the Poké Flute seems to be a popular demand, though I don't know if they have actually made it yet.

Wow, that was quite a match. Was watching live as Pidgeot, with only a sliver of HP left, steadily took down Giovanni's two last Pokémon. The final face-off vs. Rhydon was epic. Pidgeot only managed to hit with a single Sand-Attack (out of 5 or 6 tries), but Rhydon nevertheless kept missing and missing with Stomp. However, it got in one Tail Whip after another, so the first Stomp to hit would be sure to defeat Pidgeot. However, Quick Attack managed to whittle Rhydon down, and eventually took it out.
Now, The Ledge 3 awaits (I dare say Ledge 2 was outside Viridian Gym). This will be... um... not really sure if I can use the word "exciting" this time.

In other news, it looks like we're going to run out of PP before we even enter Victory Road.

Anyway, I'm quite impressed that they've made it this far by now. When I checked this morning, they were stuck in the tiny grassy area just south of Pallet. By then, they had been dicking around in the Pallet/Viridian area for about two days.
I guess they will need quite a few tries to get past Victory Road, though, possibly taking weeks to reach the Indigo Plateau. Hopefully, they will remember to heal at its reception desk before rushing into the Elite Four rooms. And who knows how long it will take to get through that... Pidgeot is at a disadvantage for the first three battles, and the other team members have few moves hitting Lorelei for supereffective damage.
