Why did everyone make such good submissions, i cant choose lol

Btw Solarblade is it ok if i re-add bulldoze again? I think i overreacted to any ground coverage, it doesnt even 2hko zero invested defense pex after rocks with life orb, its only good for heatran anyways

As for submissions:
Fire/Poison: Samtendo's Salazzle
Fire/Fairy: Koista12's Victini, i like the idea of 50/50s of competitive and physical sets
Fire/Flying: This is really hard to choose, gardevoirs one is amazing (fat fire/flying spdef tank in ou?? Yes pls) but so is swagodiles one. Like bringing back talonflame to its former glory?? Im undecided for now (pls let them both win lol)

For Electric id like to see Dark, Dragon, Ground

You can highlight me if you need help, especially for the next week-ish where SolarBlade has asked me to make sure things run smoothly.

Feel free to add Bulldoze back onto your set, voting isn't over and 1 move will not make or break him.

Also, be sure to decide on Fire/Flying choice between me, Swagodile, and all of the other entries.

I wish I could do Electric/Dragon Electrode to make the almighty Dragonball... I guess... the balls are inert.

Dragon, Dark, Flying (Save RotomF Emolga)

Fire/Poison: Member's Pokemon
Fire/Fairy: Samtendo's Rapidash
Fire/Flying: Member's Pokemon
You didn't voted for what submission should take for Fire/Poison and Fire/Flying.

I cannot decide on what to vote for, but I can decide what Electric should be paired with

Electric - Steel
Electric - Bug
Electric - Fire

Mind if I follow G-Luke and only vote what Electric should be paired with?

Um Solarblade upon review of my Clawtizer's submission, i noticed that it lacks Focus Energy. It was supposed to be based around a better version of Kingdra's Sniper set, but I thought Claw learnt it naturally. Turns out it doesn't. I'd like to replace Earth Power with Focus Energy

Feel free to change this before voting ends. Please highlight me for likely the remainder of this voting session and the next slate (Note: VOTING ENDS TOMORROW, ROUGHLY ~22 TO 25 HOURS after this post! Please finish voting, anyone who hasn't!) since SolarBlade has mentioned to me he's gonna be out for a bit.

We've got a three way tie. Dark, Fairy, and Ground. I'm calling my emergency voting session here, for one singular day. Tomorrow, at around 8 PM, the same time this post should be getting sent to all of you, I'll collect every vote from people from THIS POINT ONWARD- Let me repeat this, all of your previous votes are ignored right now. Dragon is absolutely getting in, it won the collective popular vote, but second tied for all three of these. If I delay closing voting, do highlight me. Again.

You get two votes. Please hurry in and vote for what you think should be the slate alongside Dragon - and if a tie occurs again, I'll take executive order and decide myself between the tiebreaker.

Didn't want to do this, but I had a plan ready for anything.

...if anyone wants to do a recount, feel free, I may have fucked up counting since I do that alot. If that's the case, lemme know. I'll also finalize the winners of the slate tomorrow, so if you have things to change in voting or submissions, now's the time.

My votes here are Fairy and Ground.

Highlighting to tell you I used my mod powers to change Clawitzer's move subs.

Congratulations to:

Fire/Fairy Koista's Victini
Fire/Flying Swagodile's Talonflame
Fire/Poison Samtendo's Salazzle

Runner ups for Fire/Flying, a tiebreaker vote, were my Ho-Oh and DatHeatmor's Rapidash. We were close bois, but you bet I'm expecting some Zekroms in this next slate.

They'll be added once Solarblade gets back from doing life things.

Electric Slate no.2!
1524704983715.png

Electric/Dragon, Electric/Ground, and Electric/Fairy
Submissions close at the 2nd of May, at ~8 PM EST

Be sure to use the standard formatting, feel free to submit even if you've never done so before, yada yada, AND, as something rarely brought up before, feel free to talk to others in this thread about submissions! We may be doing a 'Fix already introduced Submissions' slate at some point soon, allowing those who've already submitted to fix submissions they feel have become to strong through testing on ROM. I'll try to keep you tuned on how/when that'll be happening.

if you see a mistake, please let me know immediately.

Pokemon: Tapu Koko
Type: Fairy/Electric
Ability: Electric Surge (Pixelate)
Stats: Unchanged!
New Moves: Play Rough, Zing Zap, Dragon Dance

Niche: Same as before! However, Power Creep is real so buffs here are okay.

I wasn't kidding when I said we had an optimized Elec/Fairy.

Pokemon: Zebstrika
Type: Electric/Ground
Ability: Sap Sipper/Dry Skin (Speed Boost)
Stats: 115/120/68/80/68/119 (570)
New Moves: High Horsepower, Bulk Up, Flare Blitz

Niche: Either very fast or very walling of types that it normally shouldn't as a ground type. Venusaur can barely touch the Sap Sipper (though in turn, Flare Blitz won't do much back) Of course Speed Boost is supposedly broken. If It is, I'll lower HP so Aqua Jet is a better counter.

Pokemon: Zekrom (THE MAN FOR A THIRD TIME IN A ROW DOES IT)
Type: Electric/Dragon
Old Stats: 100 / 150 / 120 / 120 / 100 / 90 (680 BST)
New Stats: 100 / 150 / 110 (-10) / 70 (-50) / 70 (-30) / 70 (-20) (570 BST)
Abilities: Teravolt / Leviate (HA)
New Moves: Earthquake, Dragon Dance, Bulk Up
Removed Moves: None
Justification: Hey, Zekrom. Heard you were a lil' bad in Ubers. Care to join OU?

Zekrom keeps to his roots as the strong, incredibly bulky Dragon-Electric type that doesn't care about no resists. Teravolt shreds through Mimikyu's Disguise, Sturdy, Levitate, Volt Absorb, and everything else inbetween, meaning Zekrom doesn't give a damn about the main counters to it. However, if that's not your fancy, Levitate's here to make stuff like Landorus have a painfully hard time doing anything besides pivoting out. Earthquake makes a nice addition, round out a coverage option it definitely should have had before. And what's this? DUAL setup? Bulk Up lets Bulky Zekrom slowly render stall teams just about obsolete, while Dragon Dance after a boost or two can render offense a new butt. This does come at a cost, though, since Zekrom's natural BST is insane. Drops to its Special Attack, Special Defense, and Speed hurt, but investing into Special Defense or Speed for a Bulk Up or Dragon Dance set still are viable. That or you can meme with Scarf Zekrom, I suppose.

this is adorable holy hell

Pokemon: Buzzwole (Swapped out over Stunfisk)
Type: Electric / Ground
Old Stats: 107 / 139 / 139 / 53 / 53 / 71 (570 BST)
New Stats: 107 / 139 / 139 / 43 (-10) / 83 (+30) / 51 (-20) (570 BST)
Abilities: Beast Boost / Regenerator (HA)
New Moves: U-Turn, Swords Dance, Wild Charge
Removed Moves: Ice Punch
Justification: Based around my Camomons ace, Ground/Electric Buzzwole (who remains on their sample teams, mind you.) Ground / Electric Buzzwole is a niche pick for any team, in Camomons and with my changes here. He'll be fat, sure, and with a boosted Special Defense stat at the cost of Speed and Special Attack, he'll be tanking just about anything thrown his way with a RegenVest set. He'll tank through a lot, and, if he decides to use Beast Boost, can become a terrifying late-game cleaner with Swords Dance/Bulk Up, Roosts, and clicking Wild Charge or Earthquake to victory. You also can still use Thunder Punch if you don't like recoil. He does lose to Ground/Flyings, though, with the removal of Ice Punch.

1524752793034.png

Pokemon: Ampharos
Type: Electric/Fairy
Old Stats: 90 / 75 / 85 / 115 / 90 / 55 (510 BST)
New Stats: 110 (+20) / 125 (+50) / 115 (+30) / 55 (-60) / 110 (+20) / 55 (570 BST)
Abilities: Filter / Iron Fist / Download (HA)
New Moves: Play Rough, Ice Punch, Nasty Plot
Removed Moves: None
Justification: Essentially works as a counterpart to its Mega form. While Mega Ampharos is an Electric/Dragon, weak to fairies and ice and works off its special attack, regular Ampharos is an Electric/Fairy ready to kick some butt. With an already decent physical movepool (including but notwithstanding Thunder Punch, Fire Punch, and Focus Punch), this new Ampharos aims to capitalize a bit more off that with the addition of Ice Punch, a boosting ability for all of his Punching moves, and Play Rough, an option for STAB. Download helps if you decide you want to swap between Regular and Mega form on a whim, and Filter means you can switch in easier if your aim isn't necessarily purely offensive play - after all, with 110/115/110 bulk, Amphy here can take a few hits like champ before he falls to Poison or Ground coverage. And, for those who like Mega Ampharos, fear not! He also gets a new tool, in the form of Nasty Plot, letting Trick Room teams with a suicide lead have a few turns of reckless play with a +2 165 base Special Attack monster!

BST: 82 (+20) / 65 (+10) / 62 / 129 (+20) / 94 / 119 (+10) = 541 BST
Ability: Solar Power / Dry Skin / Sand Rush (HA)
New Moves: Draco Meteor, Fire Blast, Dragon Dance
Justification/Niche: Its a lizard. Heliolisk makes the VoltTurn playstyle even more enticing with its high speed pivoting and powerful Dual STAB. It can run powerful sets under Rain, Sun or Sand, and in general makes for a great option on any team.

Stunfisk

BST: 129 (+20) / 76 (+10) / 104 (+20) / 96 (+15) / 114 (+15) / 51 (+19) = 570 BST
Ability: Static / Regenerator (HA)
New Moves: Volt Switch, Recover, Encore
Justification/Niche: Stunfisk becoming the Pokemon it deserves to be! With no unneeded minmaxing! Stunfisk has very solid 129/104/114 bulk + Regenerator means that Stunfisk will be pivoting into all manner of dangerous attacks. Volt Switch turns it into a solid pivot, Recover gives non Regen sets recovery and Encore makes for general shenanigans.

Type:
electric.gif
dragon.gif

BST: 81 (+5) / 147 / 90 / 60 / 85 (+15) / 102 (+5) | BST: 570
Abilities: Hustle / Mold Breaker | Galvanize
New Moves: Volt Tackle, Thunder Punch, Horn Leech
Justification/Niche: Giving Haxorus the Electric-type is a stretch, but at least it did learn Shock Wave and have a yellow/gold body color. Hustle is for more brute strength long as you are ready to use Hone Claws, Mold Breaker is to bypass annoying Unaware users and other Pokémon that relies on their defensive Ability, and Galvanize to transform Return (or Secret Power does to a nasty 30% Paralysis chance) into a stronger move than Thunder Punch but still safer than Volt Tackle. Horn Leech is so that you can deal with a majority of Ground-types.

golem-alola.gif

Pokemon: Alolan Golem (codenamed Golem-Alola)
Type:
electric.gif
ground.gif

BST: 90 (+10) / 55 (swapped with SpA) / 140 (+10) / 125 (swapped with Atk, +5) / 95 (+30) / 65 (+20) | BST: 570
Abilities: Magnet Pull / Sturdy | Galvanize
New Moves: Shell Smash, Shore Up, Ice Beam
Justification/Niche: Alolan Golem's Magner Pull and officially signature Ability Galvanize make it an interesting Pokémon in casual play, but alas, it suffer the same impractical stats of Kantonian Golem have to give it full potential. In addition of a more effective Electric/Ground in term of both coverage and defensive play, as well as fixed up Special Defense, Alolan Golem now have access to Shell Smash for fast sweeper pressure (preferably late-game unless going for Sturdy), Shore Up for recovery (best when in a Sand Team!) and Ice Beam as a bad surprise to other Ground-type (especially Landorus-T!) who dared to come in. It help that it does not need to touch Toxapex, which in return have to use Toxic or retreat.

raichu-alola.gif

Pokemon: Alolan Raichu (codenamed Raichu-Alola)
Type:

fairy.gif

BST: 80 (+20) / 75 (-10) / 70 (+20) / 125 (+30) / 100 (+15) / 120 (+10) | BST: 570
Abilities: Surge Surfer / Competitive | Pixilate
New Moves: Moonblast, Hyper Voice, Ice Beam
Justification/Niche: Now this is something you might misjudge. Alolan Raichu's stats are not too impressive by themselves compared to competition, especially Tapu Lele. But then Alolan Raichu is quick with base Speed of 120 (especially in Electric Terrain with Surge Surfer), and with more and more Intimidate Pokémon on the rise, Competitive might have more use. That's right, when you wouldn't want to use Pixilate and use Competitive instead, a Nasty Plot + Intimidate switch in will make a whopping +4 SpA raise when planned well, but that does not always happen. Although Alolan Raichu might have troubles with a Dark/Poison named Alolan Muk (who is buffed in this Pet Mod btw), the rest of the Poison-type wouldn't dare to confront Alolan Raichu since it kept Psychic/Psyshock, which can really synergize well with Tapu Lele's Psychic Surge.

1524845262775.png

Pokemon: Gardevoir
Type:
1524845319704.png
1524845325921.png

BST: 80/50/75/135/130/100 | BST: 570
Abilities: Dazzling / Trace (Refridgerate)
New Moves: Earth Power, Volt Switch, Mystical Fire
Justification/Niche: The mega is hopelessly outclassed by Tapu Lele, so I decided to buff the base form. Gard gets pretty much anything it wanted here - better stab combo, better defensive typing, ways to hit Pokemon that previously hard checked it like Ferrothorn, Heatran, and Celesteela, as well as actual bulk and speed. I thought Refridgerate might be cool for a pseudo bolt beam combo although Ground types probably won't be switching into Moonblast as it is. A Z Earth Power set would be particularly useful for hitting things like Heatran and Muk hard, or you can just pivot out with Volt Switch. Mystical Fire is flavorful and deals with Scizor and Ferro.

1524845288391.png

Pokemon: Latias
Type:
1524845349193.png
1524845358031.png

BST: 80/55/85/110/130/110 | BST: 570
Abilities: Levitate / Telepathy (Illusion)
New Moves: Nuzzle, Volt Switch, Aura Sphere
Justification/Niche: This is a great offensive typing but I chose Latias over Latios because it's lower on the viability rankings, and Illusion is incredibly good and flavorful on this thing. So this thing has a sweet defensive typing as well, and with recovery and that speed stat it can switch into a lot of special attackers and continue to check them throughout the match. You thought Zapdos was a good defogger? Well this thing may not resist Fighting but it switches into Heatran and Ash Gren (sorta) way easier, it's not pursuit trapped by Ttar anymore, and it's higher base speed means it can choose between bulk or speed evs.

Illusion is the ability this thing always needed, and I think it really helps offensive sets, as with Volt Switch, you can use Illusion to pivot and later just use incredible neutral coverage to clean a weakened team.

I forgot Nuzzle - it's a sweet support option and a reality on a support set consisting of Nuzzle, Defog, D Meteor and Volt Switch. Also flavorful (at least imo Latias looks like a dragon that would want to nuzzle you).
