It could be intresting, however, for the moment, I think we should avoid doing brand new fakemons and concentrate more on the type themselves, though one day ir could be possible. While we are at it, would it be bad if we make an Eeveelution for each Pet Mod Type? With 545 BST, as the Eeveelutions as single-typed and struggles to even find a niche in OU, thus we buff a stat to one of the existing Eeveelution's worse stats (HP for Flareon) and giving a better Ability for those who lags behind even more (Guts on a Pokémon that can't be burned? Really?).
Its only a suggestion, but remember that Umbreon is introduced alongside Dark-type in Gen 2, same goes with Sylveon and Fairy-type in Gen 6.
How about Rotom forms? It could be intresting, however, for the moment, I think we should avoid doing brand new fakemons and concentrate more on the type themselves, though one day ir could be possible.
Since there's a lot of restrictions linked to those, and that it's more of a form than an actual pokemon, I'll let go for this time. How about Rotom forms?

Not Very Effective Electric, Rock, Steel, (Chaos)
- You can't fly in space, and there's no air in space.
weaknesses are based off of human fears, and many people have a fear of the great unknown.![]()
- Most of space is dark matter, and the universe uses dark energy to grow larger.
- Space is reeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllllllllllllyyyyyy old (~13.8 billion years), and it's theorized that even if the universe ended, it would just start over again.
- Machines can simulate space, and spaceships are also machines.
- Spaceships and nuclear fusion.
- Just in case. There's plenty of chaos in space, like supernovas, gamma ray bursts, etc that destroy a lot of stuff in space, and space doesn't control chaos like it does dark energy.
Resistances Fighting, Flying, Psychic, Time
Vulnerabilities Electric, Rock, Steel, (Chaos)
- It would be pretty hard to fight in space with virtually no gravity and no leverage.

Z-Effect: 160 BP

Spacial Terrain
Typing:![]()
Category: Status
Base Power: --
Accuracy: --
Power Point: 10 (max 16)
Effect: For 5 turns (or 8 turns with Terrain Extender), the terrain becomes Spatial Terrain. During the effect, the power of Space-type attacks made by grounded Pokemon is multiplied by 1.5 and Speed of all grounded Pokémon remains normal during the effect as the Speed changes are ignored (including Choice Scarf and Abilities like Shift Swim). Camouflage transforms the user into a Space type, Nature Power becomes <Standard Special Space Move>, and Secret Power has a 30% chance to inflict a Gravity effect to the target. Fails if the current terrain is Spatial Terrain.
Z-Effect: 1+ SpA
Explanation/Niche: I can't help it making new Terrains, okay? (Time have their own "field effect" called Trick Room, and Gravity is pretty much too situational) This allows Speed control by preventing Choice Scarf from working and take down Pokémon relent on weather-based Ability like Shift Swim and Chlorophyll (RIP Mega Swampert) and give an extra oomph for Space-type moves.
Stargaze Shield
Typing:![]()
Category: Status
Base Power: --
Accuracy: --
Power Point: 10 (max 16)
Effect: The user is protected from most attacks made by other Pokemon during this turn, and Pokemon trying to use non-contact with the user have their Special Attack lowered by 2 stages. Non-damaging moves go through this protection. This move has a 1/X chance of being successful, where X starts at 1 and triples each time this move is successfully used. X resets to 1 if this move fails or if the user's last move used is not Baneful Bunker, Detect, Endure, King's Shield, Protect, Quick Guard, Spiky Shield, Wide Guard, Stargaze Shield or other similar moves. Fails if the user moves last this turn.
Z-Effect: Clears the user's negative stat boosts
Explanation/Niche: A counterpart to King's Shield, and a good way to control Special Attackers. Remember that non-damaging moves can go through this protection, so don't use it to save yourself from Taunt.
Spacial Rend
Typing:![]()
Category: Special
Base Power: 100
Accuracy: 95
Power Point: 5 (max 8)
Effect: Has a higher chance of critical hit, clean off field effects such as normal weathers, rooms and terrains except Spacial Terrain after a successful hit.
Z-Effect: 180 BP
Explanation/Niche: Spacial Rend is exclusive to Palkia, Arceus and Darkrai, which are all Ubers. It was mostly done to help Palkia (and Space Arceus) to have a very good STAB for field control.
Gravity
Typing:![]()
Category: Status
Base Power: --
Accuracy: --
Power Point: 5 (max 8)
Effect: For 5 turns, the evasiveness of all active Pokemon is multiplied by 0.6. At the time of use, Bounce, Fly, Magnet Rise, Sky Drop, and Telekinesis end immediately for all active Pokemon. During the effect, Bounce, Fly, Flying Press, High Jump Kick, Jump Kick, Magnet Rise, Sky Drop, Splash, and Telekinesis are prevented from being used by all active non-Space Pokemon. Ground-type attacks, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, Sticky Web, and the Ability Arena Trap can affect Flying types or Pokemon with the Ability Levitate. Fails if this move is already in effect.
Z-Effect: +2 SpA
Explanation/Niche: Modified Gravity so that Space Pokémon can use the moves that normally cannot work in Gravity. I also purposefully buff the Z-Move version to encourage manual use of Gravity.

Gravity Pull
Effect: Summon the Gravity effect for 5 turns.
Explanation/Niche: Allows Space-type Pokémon with moves that have low accuracy to hit more often and screw up with Flying-type and Levitate Pokémon. This can be dangerous when used by a Space/Ground-type Pokémon (if there would ever be any)!
Spacial Surge
Effect: Summon Spacial Terrain for 5 turns. It extends to 8 turns with Terrain Extender.
Explanation/Niche: Read "Spacial Terrain" in the New Moves. This will allows better control on Speed control as well as suppressing rival Terrain setters who would dare to take advantage of their favorite Terrain. The downside is that you cannot use a Choice Scarf. Notice that the Terrain only effects grounded Pokémon (unless Gravity is on effect), which means Hawlucha can make use of its Unburden.
Gravitational Pull: This pokemon's accuracy and speed are 1.5x if the target is heavier than the user.
The Last Frontier: This pokemon's weaknesses and resistances are inverted.
Nuclear Fusion: This pokemon uses Pain Split when switching in.
Nuclear Fission: Innards Out clone
Space Warp: This Pokemon summons Wonder Room when switching in.
Microgravity: This pokemon loses 1 stage of Def every turn it's on the field. The opponent also loses 1 stage of Def every turn this Pokemon is on the field.
Ability: Zero Gravity
Effect: Status moves will never miss (unless target is semi-invulnerable).
Explanation/Niche: Celesteela never missing Leech Seed? Cresselia never missing Toxic? Clefable never missing Thunder Wave?
Ability: Absolute Zero
Effect: Speed is not checked for the first turn this Pokemon is on the field (ie first turn is always a speed tie). Does not affect the priority of moves.
Explanation/Niche: Makes powerful Pokemon such as Palkia more threatening when switching in. Can also act as a shaky check to Choice Scarf users and set up sweepers who are about to cause a lot of damage to a team.

Clefable - Fairy/Space: I don't want to make the whole cleffa line space-type, But definitely clefable should be. it even evolves with a moon stone!
Helioisk - Electric/Space: Some people may forget this pokemon exists, but since it's connected to the sun about as much as clefable is to the moon, i think it's fair to give it the space type.
Hoopa - Dark/Space?: I'm not too sure on this one, but since it can literally connect points in space using teleportation hoops, it could be considered a space type. Dark/space instead of Psychic/space because i think it'd fit more as dark/space.

Their original stats are too low to be remotely useful, so their Attack and Special Attack (respectively) are boosted to more reasonable level while having a more useful Speed. Solrock have better overall physical bulk while Lunatone is bulkier on the Special side, while not too crippled on the opposing bulk side either. And since they remains Rock-type, they can appreciate the Special Defense boost when in Sandstorm (Lunatone especially) much more.

- Fairy/Space - Connected with the moon, it just makes sense.![]()
- Space/Time - Our first all-new dual type, and since they're connected to both space and time, it makes sense.![]()
,
, and
- Space/Rock - I put them all together because with this new typing, they become an interesting trio.![]()
- Space/Steel - It's a shooting star. I'm replacing psychic because steel fits more and psychic seems to be the go-to space typing before we added space.![]()
- Space - I was thinking of putting it as space/psychic, but honestly it makes sense to just make it pure space.![]()
- Space/Dragon - If I can't make it steel the least I can do is get rid of the water type.![]()
- Space/Psychic - Obvious reasons.![]()
/
- Space/Psychic - Powered by space and all that.![]()
/
- Space - From space, don't really have much reasoning for the psychic type once the space type exists.![]()
/
- Electric/Space - As connected to the sun as clefable is connected to the moon. Probably my most controversial pick.![]()
- Space/Ghost - Creates teleportation rings.![]()
- Space/Dark - See Hoopa.![]()
/
- Space - Obvious Reasons, they even look like the night sky![]()
- Space/Steel - Sun![]()
- Space/Ghost - Moon![]()
- Space/Poison - Since all the ultra beasts are from different dimensions, they all make sense to be space, so instead i'll ask if their original types make sense. Nihilego doesn't make sense as rock, really, as it's just.... a floating jellyfish.![]()
- Space/Bug - While I can deffinitely see the bug and Buzzwole totally makes sense as a fighting/bug, pheromosa has no reason being fighting..... So Space fits more.![]()
- Space/Electric - It doesn't have a second type, so it's fine to be space/electric!![]()
- Steel/Space - can someone give me a reason it's flying? beyond it "flying at high speeds" in one pokedex entry, i don't really see it.![]()
- Dark/Space - I really don't see the dragon.![]()
- Space - I don't think I need to explain this, beyond "it's from another world and it has no real reason to be psychic-type anymore"![]()
- Space/Steel - no need to explain![]()
- Space/Ghost - You already understand, right?![]()
- Space/Dragon - When Light-type becomes a thing this will be space/light, since that fits a lot more than psychic/dragon.![]()
- Poison/Space - I don't see the dragon in this one either. Probably my second most controversial one.![]()
And that's all of the ones I'll say.
Metagross line: Steel/Psychic ===> Steel/Space

Water/Dragon --> Space/Dragon
The Dragon of Space. Nuff said.

Psychic --> Space
They are literal pissing space aliens.

![]()
Hoopa: Psychic/Ghost --> Psychic/Space
Hoopa-Unbound: Psychic/Dark --> Space/Dark
Now, I realize that this is more of a stretch, but it talks about abusing hyperspace in its signature move. Also, this is the only one I can think of that really fits a Space/Dark retype.

Rock/Flying --> Space/Flying
Lads. It's a meteor.

Where else? I don't think creating a new section for 3 more submissions is really necessary...Why are the Rotom forms in the Edited Pokemon section? Just a little question
K, good. I thought that you thought something else.Where else? I don't think creating a new section for 3 more submissions is really necessary...
While we are at it, we should considerate that Dark-type would have a fifth type to be strong against (Ghost, Psychic, Time, Heart and eventually Time) if the match-up with Dark being SE against Space had won. I get that Dark-type had only two resistances (itself and Ghost) and one immunity (Psychic), but now it already got both a much more favorable offensive and defensive matchup. Let's not forget that because of that, Knock Off had become an even more favorable coverage move.
It already happened to Ice where it already got four new whopping resistances (Flying, Ground, Heart and Time iirc) and unlike Ice, Dark-type's do have more than one resistance and have one less weakness than Ice. All I'm gonna say overall is to try not to go overboard and make a Type that would be vulnerable to a Type that is already great or had already got buffed up.
And this would be more difficult as more and more new Types are coming up, but not impossible efficient community input and efforts. Sound, Light and even Chaos are those who are more likely to be inevitable, but even then try at least avoid favoring a pre-existing Type that is already good unless if you feels like you wanted that type to become a coverage-viable type (and wasn't a common coverage type, like Water and Dragon).
Of course, I will not stop anybody from letting Dark-type having a fifth type it would be strong against, in fact if it become the case, good. I just wanted people to take these into consideration.
tl;dr: Dark may end up be strong against five type total, and have bit too favorable buff like Ice had, but I do not, will not and cannot force others not to for good matchup vs Space.
Absol will most likely end up beingChaos have good enough candidates with high BST, though since Chaos basically means "not depended on the law and is unpredictable", I may consider to put Persian (and Alolan form), Raticate (and Alola form), Dodrio and Misdreavous to the list.
