Yeah I was confused as well. I'm assuming that I need to submit a complete team, EV's and all, but then 6 random other Pokemon to choose from as a side. Then 2 of the extra 6 can be molded into whatever you want, assuming you lose R1. Someone correct me if I'm wrong though please.

I'm pretty sure you just have to send the names of your team and side team, not any sets or anything.
