UU Threat List

Oh yeah sorry I'll finish of Milktank today and if no-one comes to reserve nidoqueen later, I guess I'll do it also.

I hope I'm doing this right:
-------------------------------
Medicham
Ability: Pure Power
Base Stats: 60 / 60 / 75 / 60 / 75 / 80
Medicham is arguably one of the most powerful revenge killers in UU thanks to its excellent attack. Although Medicham is usually seen with a Choice Scarf considering its rather medicore speed and frail defenses, Medicham can also be a potent user of Choice Band. Allowing even the most physically oriented walls to fall. However, medicore speed on such a frail pokemon means that Choice Band Medicham will often have problems pulling off a sweep successfully. Medicham also has Reversal to compensate for the lack of a reliable STAB, and can pull it off decently.
----------------------------------

Miltank
Abilities: Thick Fat / Scrappy
Base Stats: 95 HP / 80 Atk / 105 Def / 40 SpA / 70 SpD / 100 Spe

Milktank is one of the bulkiest defensive walls in the UU tier with a respectable base 105 defense. Combined with it's above average speed, it can usually heal off status-problems of other team-mates using heal bell before it can be taunted. Milktank usually carries Milk Drink, Seismic Toss/ Body Slam, Heal bell and thunder wave. Milktank can also run a curse set or one including stealth rocks which lacks either a status-inducing move or heal bell. Despite being fairly uncommon, Milktank can also run a choice band set including the moves hammer arm, earthquake, Return/ Body Slam and Zen Headbutt.

check this post and this post for tips on what we're looking for.

the only move you mentioned was one that nobody uses

do people even read what I write

I think I'll seal the deal and reserve Nidoqueen.

EDIT:

Nidoqueen
Abilities: Poison Point / Rivalry
Base Stats: 90 HP / 82 Atk / 87 Def / 75 SpA / 85 SpD / 76 Spe

Nidoqueen's main perks lie in her respectable support movepool paired with her unique typing, that somewhat compensates for its lackluster defensive stats when in comparision to other tanks, thus allowing it find its own niche as a wall in the UU enviroment. Nidoqueen's most and only common moveset tends to include either Earth Power or Earthquake, Stealth Rock, Toxic Spikes and some sort of filler that might present itself as Ice Beam, Roar, Taunt or Stone Edge. In spite of Nidoqueen's decent offensive stats, running an all-out attacker set is better left to her husband Nidoking, who holds a much better movepool and stats to pull that off.

Did this just for you stalkerboy. <3333

Lopunny
Abilities: Cute Charm / Klutz
Base Stats: 65 HP / 76 Atk / 84 Def / 54 SpA / 96 SpD / 105 Spe

Lopunny's high Speed, unique ability, large movepool, and decent defenses allow it to support its team in many ways. Lopunny is commonly seen running a Baton Pass set to Pass Subsitute, Agility, and a boosting Berry to its teammates, with either Encore or Switcheroo to help it set up. Lopunny also effectively runs a support set that utilizes Encore with its high Speed, Heal Bell, Thunder Wave, and dry Baton Passing to maintain momentum. Offensive Lopunny is seen sometimes, and has 2 variations, a Choice Band set consisting of Switcheroo, Return, a Fighting-type attack such as Low Kick or Focus Punch, and a coverage move in Ice Punch or Fire Punch, while a set utilizing Substitute + Focus Punch with a STAB Return and a support move in Encore or Baton Pass is also used.

Ninetales
Ability: Flash Fire
Base Stats: 73 HP / 76 Atk / 75 Def / 81 SpA / 100 SpD / 100 Spe

Ninetales is one of the fastest Fire-types in UU, and its combination of speed, bulk, and power make it a threatening sweeper. Ninetales will most commonly be seen as a Nasty Plot sweeper, utilizing Hypnosis to incapacitate a counter while using Fire Blast and either Energy Ball or Hidden Power Rock as its two attacks. Ninetales also runs an offensive Calm Mind set that abuses Pain Split while running a combination of Fire Blast and Energy Ball or Hidden Power Rock. A double status set with Will-o-Wisp and Hypnosis is also used with Fire Blast and Energy Ball or abusing the rare Grudge.

i had time to squeeze this in with my tight schedule as of late. I hope I did this correctly.

Slowbro
Abilities: Oblivious / Own Tempo
Base Stats: 95 HP / 75 Atk / 110 Def / 100 SpA / 80 SpD / 30 Spe

High physical defensive stat and key resistances to Fighting- and Fire-type hits make Slowbro the premier physical Fighting- and Fire-type counter in the UU metagame. You add Thunder Wave in the mix to compensate for its low base Speed and Slack Off to instantly heal off previous beatings, Slowbro can be extremely difficult to take down as a physical tank. Slowbro is no slouch offensively as well as it can dish out quite the damage with a Base 100 Special Attack, coupled with two unflawed STAB coverage in Water and Psychic. It can utilize a Calm Mind set to boost its average Special Defense stat or a Choice Specs set to pummel typical switch-ins like Venusaur for hard damage (sometimes OHKOing them!). Slowbro also has access to Trick Room to support Trick Room teams.

Slowking
Abilities: Oblivious / Own Tempo
Base Stats: 95 HP / 75 Atk / 80 Def / 100 SpA / 110 SpD / 30 Spe

Slowking’s true niche as a bulky water is to serve as a reliable check to several specially-inclined Fire-types, most notably Moltres. Much like its brethren Slowbro, Slowking comes equipped with Slack Off to constantly heal off hits and Thunder Wave to cripple faster Pokemon. Slowking can also provide damage with its passable Special Attack stat paired with its fantastic dual STAB moves which is only resisted by Shedinja. It surprisingly has access to multiple offensive options: Nasty Plot, Calm Mind, Curse, and Choice Specs. The Nasty Plot set is often seen in tandem with Trick Room to patch up its extremely low Speed, ultimately allowing it to set up Nasty Plot easier. Curse and Calm Mind are lesser options since Slowking doesn't have any reliable physical STABs and the Calm Mind set is typically outclassed by Slowbro. A Choice Specs set is used in the similar fashion as Slowbro: catching its usual switch-ins off guard and possibly OHKOing them.

Linoone
Abilities: Pickup / Gluttony
Base Stats: 78 HP / 70 Atk / 61 Def / 50 SpA / 61 SpD / 100 Spe

Linoone is one of the best Belly Drum user in the metagame; a one-turn set up can potentially spell doom on many unprepared teams. Thanks to its near-exclusive ability Gluttony, Berry’s will now activate halfway instead of the usual 25% or less, essentially allowing Linoone to have a Speed and a Belly Drum boost under its belt after a single set turn. Linoone also has access to STAB Extremespeed, which often allow it bypass common priority users who will attempt to pick its HP at allow health - a common problem for many Berry-consuming sets. Substitute is usually used with Belly Drum and Extremespeed, which forces Linoone to run Shadow Claw, Seed Bomb, or Return to round of its type coverage.

Slowking can also provide damage with its passable Special Attack stat paired with its fantastic dual STAB moves which is only resisted by Shedinja.

Actually, also by Slowking and Slowbro itself, Sharpedo (which Surf damages anyways), Crawdaunt (same as Sharpedo), Exeggutor, Cacturne (Surf still hurts) and Shiftry (repeated Surfs hurt?) on top of Shedinja.

Actually, also by Slowking and Slowbro itself, Sharpedo (which Surf damages anyways), Crawdaunt (same as Sharpedo), Empoleon (who luckily is OU), Dialga (residing is Ubers), Lati@s (in Ubers also), Celebi (in OU), Exeggutor, Starmie (in OU), Cacturne (Surf still hurts) and Shiftry (repeated Surfs hurt?) on top of Shedinja.

This is regarding the Under-used tier, don't include Pokemon from other tier in your statement.

Sorry for not re-doing this earlier

Magneton
Abilities: Sturdy / Magnet Pull
Base Stats: 50 HP / 60 Atk / 95 Def / 120 SpA / 70 SpD / 70 Spe
With a base 120 Special Attack and a useful ability in Magnet Pull, Magneton makes an effective sweeper and Steel-type killer. Due to Magneton’s shallow movepool, it is always seen with Thunderbolt and a Hidden Power type of choice. When seen as a Steel Trapper, Magneton carries the moves Thunderbolt, Hidden Power Fire, Substitute, and Magnet Rise. As a Special Sweeper, Magneton is usually seen carrying Charge Beam or Metal Sound, Thunderbolt, Hidden Power Grass or Ice or Fire, and Substitute or Explosion. Due to having a lackluster 70 base Speed, Magneton sometimes utilizes a Choice Scarf, with the key extra moves being Flash Cannon and Explosion.

I'm not sure how well I did it this time, and I tried to talk about what moves you would encounter for the different sets.

well every pokemon is done so i'm not gonna bother with saying "this needs to be redone" anymore since we're doing content now

speaking of which i updated so feel free to do stuff...

remember don't talk about grammar or prose in this stage

check the last two thirds ish of this post for instructions if you forgot

[+] for additions
[-] for deletions
= for “conclusion”; basically, what has to be done to the entry (I know I didn’t mention this in my posts but it seems like a good idea)

well I wrote Absol-Exeggutor so I don't have any bones to pick

Feraligatr
[+] content is good but the structure is a little rough to follow in terms of what set has what move. it’s also kinda awkward phrasing in places.
= rewrite with same content.

Floatzel
[+] taunt needs to be mentioned as a move to use on a lead set as well as a move to use in conjunction with baton pass (“kristy”)
= add a few sentences.

Gorebyss
[+] clarify that you are referring to physical bulk and not special bulk
[+] aqua tail 2hkoes chansey, but “attempt” sounds like aqua tail gorebyss cannot beat chansey (rephrase that part)
= minor clarifications.

Hariyama
[-] hariyama does not have extraordinary Defense – in fact both of its defenses are equal (base 60); its HP is what is special
[-] the last two sentences are unnecessary
[+] subpunch sets must be mentioned (substitute, focus punch, payback, ice punch or stone edge)
[+] restalk sets must be mentioned (thick fat, whirlwind, force palm or guts, cross chop, stone edge)
[+] thick fat is one of hariyama’s abilities
= rewrite.

Hitmonlee
= it is good.

Hitmontop
= it is good.

Houndoom
um I wrote this too… but:
[+] expand “good attack stat” mention into an explanation of the physical set
= add one sentence.

Jumpluff
[-] less “here are six moves it gets”
[+] and more “here are common sets and the moves they use”
= rewrite.

Jynx
= it is good.

Kabutops
= it is good.

Kangaskhan
= it is good.

Lanturn
= it is good.

Leafeon
[+] mention defensive sets – leaf blade / wish / protect / roar or heal bell
= add a sentence.

Linoone
[+] just say what set it runs right at the beginning (bd / es / return / shadow claw with seed bomb maybe over one of the last two)
[-] it doesn’t run sub because of gluttony
= reorder a few sentences, get rid of a little fluff.

Lopunny
[+] the first set’s moves can be listed out a little more clearly I had to read it three times
= rewrite one sentences.

Ludicolo
[-] a little too much fluff in the first half (it can be concised to keep the same information)
[+] mention focus punch to form a mixed set somewhere
[-] idk if the last part of the last sentence is needed; it is only arguably done better by venusaur and competition between the two is obvious
= rewrite a few sentences, add a sentence.

Magmortar
[-] don’t put the cross chop mention where it is currently since that makes it sound like every single magmortar set runs it
[+] add a sentence about how it can use cross chop near the end
[+] explicitly clarify that scarf and life orb moves are similar
= reorder a few sentences, add a sentence.

Magneton
[-] well I’ve never seen the special sweeper set ever but it’s in the analysis so eh…
[+] steel trapper will probably run hp ice nowadays although I never see magneton period lol
[+] be more explicit about scarf moves
= kinda need more comments, but as of now just rewrite a few sentences.

Mesprit
= it is good.

Milotic
[-] first half is kinda wordy and gives unnecessary information (such as its special attack stat lol)
= rewrite a few sentences.

Miltank
[+] curse needs a complete mention, not just “it can use curse” – curse / milk drink / return or body slam / heal bell or hammer arm
= add a sentence.

Mismagius
= it is good.

Moltres
= it is good.

finishing here for now cause there were lots of M Pokemon

You didn't mention Medicham in that last post, but looking at the OP and the last post about him in the thread it looks like it needs to be redone. I can take it on if that's the case.

Sorry i just got around to re-doing these. I forgot about this thread completely. haha ^__^;;

I think I did these right. Unfortunately there isn't much to mention about these NU mons that have really niche uses in UU.

Floatzel
Ability: Swift Swim
Base Stats: 85 HP / 105 Atk / 55 Def / 85 SpA / 50 SpD / 115 Spe

Floatzel is the fastest Swift Swimmer in the game and has access to strong physical moves such as Crunch, Waterfall, Ice Punch and Aqua Jet. He can pack quite a punch with or without Rain on the field. He can also work in a Baton Pass chain with moves like Bulk Up and Agility. Taunt is also a good move on Floatzel to function as a wall breaker similar to Tauntrados in OU.

Shedinja
Ability: Wonder Guard
Base Stats: 1 HP / 90 Atk / 45 Def / 30 SpA / 30 SpD / 40 Spe

Shedinja is one of the most unique pokemon in the game. With his one-of-a-kind ability he is immune to twelve types. He has access wonderful offensive moves such as Swords Dance, Shadow Sneak, Aerial Ace, X-Scissor, and Sucker Punch. He also has a few support options with Toxic, Will-O-Wisp, Trick, Heal Block and Baton Pass. Unfortunately, this guy is rendered completely useless if any entry hazards or other form of residual damage is present on the field.

How's this?

Medicham
Ability: Pure Power
Base Stats: 60 / 60 / 75 / 60 / 75 / 80
Medicham's Pure Power ability doubles it's Attack stat, giving it the equivalent of a 170 Base Attack. Medicham is most commonly used as a Choice Scarf revenge killer, sporting a moveset of Psycho Cut, High Jump Kick or Low Kick, and two of Trick, Thunder Punch, and Ice Punch. Medicham is sometimes seen running a Life Orb set with Fake Out and Bullet Punch in addition to its STAB moves. Such a set can pick off weakened sweepers while powering through walls such as Milotic and Weezing. Medicham takes some care to deal with because it's Psychic STAB allows it to deal with many of the usual counters to Fighting-types. However, its frailty is often its undoing, so just about any pokemon that survive an attack and retaliate can pose a threat to Medicham, in addition to those who can outspeed it or hit it with priority attacks.

Gorebyss
Ability: Swift Swim
Base Stats: 55 HP / 84 Atk / 105 Def / 114 SpA / 75 SpD / 52 Spe

Gorebyss is likely to be seen on Rain Dance teams only, where it can overcome its speed issues and attempt a sweep with a boosted STAB. Its most notable advantages over its peers include a respectable physical bulk, which allows it to withstand a fair amount of priority moves, the ability to beat Toxicroak with Psychic and great Special Attack. Its most common moveset is Surf, Hidden Power Grass, Ice Beam and Psychic; though Aqua Tail can be seen in some rare situations to 2HKO Chansey switch-ins. Despite its near-exclusive use as a sweeper, Gorebyss can also employ a Baton Pass set, with which it focuses on passing defensive boosts such as Amnesia, Iron Defense and Aqua Ring.

- As you said there were just some rephrazings to be done, so I just added "physical" on the part I mentioned its bulk, as most priority moves come out from Atk anyways.

- On the Chansey part, I mentioned it 2HKOes Chansey and that it should be used on switch-ins, as the likelihood of it just stalling you out with TWave, Protect and such is too high.

Ludicolo
Abilities: Rain Dish/ Swift Swim
Base Stats: 80 HP / 70 Atk / 70 Def / 90 SpA / 100 SpD / 70 Spe

Ludicolo is another of those Pokemon whose usage is usually limited to Rain Dance teams, where he can abuse his Swift Swim ability and attempt a sweep. Ludicolo’s access to Grass-type STABed moves added to a 4x resistance to Water-type means he can take on most bulky Waters, like Milotic, who tends to wall many of his sweep partners. Ludicolo’s most common set is the special sweeper one, which employs Surf, Ice Beam, Energy Ball and Rain Dance, even though running Focus Punch is a possibility to get past Chansey. It also isn’t rare to see Ludicolo abuse its less powerful yet boostable Attack stat with a moveset composed of Swords Dance, Waterfall, Seed Bomb and Ice Punch. The few times Ludicolo is run outside of rain it assumes the role of a special wall, abusing its respectable bulk and access to Leech Seed.

- I removed as much fluff as I could find. It looked so cute... =/

- Added Focus Punch. I thought I had added that but it seems I ended up forgetting.

- Removed the very ending of the analysis.

Hope this is good whoostle.

Closing while I add the stuff that isn't done.

The damn OP isn't updated for what needs to be done lol. But I rewrote Miltank to represent what whistle wanted + to represent a slightly more comprehensive format without being a mini-analysis. The first paragraph was devoted to Miltank's sets, and then I described the most dangerous one. The second paragraph was a quick refresher on certain unique points Miltank has. I believe this might be the easiest way to remain as comprehensive as possible in a "threat list" without going into the mini-analysis realm.

Miltank
Abilities: Thick Fat / Scrappy
Base Stats: 95 HP / 80 Atk / 105 Def / 40 SpA / 70 SpD / 100 Spe

Miltank's utility depends on which ability it chooses to run. If it has Scrappy, you can count on either the bulky Leftovers set with Curse, Milk Drink, Normal Move, and Fighting move or the fast Life Orb set with Milk Drink and 3 attacking moves, often Return, Earthquake (not Hammer Arm because it drops Speed), and either Rock Slide or Zen Headbutt. If it has Thick Fat, you can count on bulky support sets with Leftovers Heal Bell, Milk Drink, Stealth Rock, or Thunder Wave as primary support moves. The most dangerous set is arguably the Curse set, as has perfect neutral coverage and Milk Drink to heal off residual damage; also, since the most common Fighting moves are physical, Curse often helps Miltank deal with its only weakness.

It is important to note that Scrappy and Normal move + Fighting move give Miltank perfect neutral coverage in UU (besides Shedinja). Slower Miltank choose between Body Slam, for Paralysis chance, or Return, for power, as the Normal STAB move of choice. Finally, don't be surprised by Miltank's speed, since with a max of 328 it can outspeed Pokemon that normally expect to outspeed its bulky sets, such as Primeape or Hitmonlee.

ok I rewrote a few entries and added in some changed entries. everything before this post in the thread should be reflected in the OP.

finishing up the first runthrough of the content...

Nidoking
= it is good.

Nidoqueen
= it is good.

Ninetales
[+] NP + 3 Attack can be used
[-] bulky CM was a metagame "gimmick"
= add and remove a few sentences.

Omastar
[+] add suicide lead; it seems like it is here to stay (addendum to stall spiker sentence probably)
= add one phrase.

Pinsir
= a little wordy but content wise it is good.

Poliwrath
[+] clarify the difference between Bulk Up + Attacks/Hypnosis and Bulk Up + RestTalk
= add a sentence or two.

Primeape
= it is good.

Quagsire
[-] the entire first paragraph is fluff basically

Registeel
= it is good.

Rhyperior

[+] add lead set
= add a sentence.

[+] add specific sets
= rewrite? or delete half of it and fix up the other half... idk
(yeah the two Slows are the same I just copy pasted lol)

Spiritomb
[+] doesn't specifically mention defensive sets
[+] specific sets are vague
= needs to be much clearer on everything; rewrite.

Steelix
[-] wordy as hell
= delete most of it and it's good (not seriously but you get the idea).

Swellow
[+] explicitly lay out the set at the beginning, not near the end
= restructure/rewrite a sentence.

Tangrowth
[+] specific sets
= rewrite.

= it is good.

Walrein
[+] super fang
= add a phrase

Weezing
[-] don't need to know everything about it... too much useless information
[+] sludge bomb [-] fire blast

= rewrite.

if anyone is planning to go through these to see if I missed anything, make a post with your expected timeline - even if you aren't going to do it immediately. that's so I know if I should find people to start fixing up the writing now or if I should wait.

Uxie
Ability: Levitate
Base Stats: 75 HP / 75 Atk / 130 Def / 75 SpA / 130 SpD / 95 Spe

Uxie's outstanding bulk, great movepool and passable stats in all categories allow it to run a large array of sets. The most common use of Uxie is in the lead position, with a moveset composed of Stealth Rock, Thunder Wave, Psychic and U-turn. However, the same lead set can be tweaked in a multitude of ways as in abusing the infamous TrickScarf crippling method; setting up either Sunny Day or Rain Dance; using the extremely dangerous Dual Screen + Memento setup combo and employing Yawn to force switches. Outside of the lead position Uxie can make good use of its respectable base Speed and acceptable Special Attack to attempt a sweep with a Calm Mind set, having as attack options Psychic, Thunderbolt and Signal Beam. It's important to note, however, that Mesprit has more auspicious offensive stats and moves, thus pulling that off better in most cases.

- Changed the last part.

Steelix
Abilities: Sturdy / Rock Head
Base Stats: 75 HP / 85 Atk / 200 Def / 55 SpA / 65 SpD / 30 Spe

Steelix is a member of the very select group of UU Steel-types, only accompanied by Registeel and Aggron. Steelix is most commonly seen abusing its physical tanking capabilities, working as a counter to the plethora of Flying and Normal-types, as well as being able to setup Stealth Rock and phaze with Roar. To complement the two aformentioned moves, Steelix tends to employ Earthquake and one of Iron Head, Gyro Ball and Explosion. Although it's uncommon, due to Steelix's respectable offensive stats, he can be seen employing a more agressive set, either baiting pokés like Moltres and Milotic with type resistance berries and Exploding on them; or employing a Curse set that uses Gyro Ball and Earthquake as offensive options and Rest for durability.

- Pretty much an extreme makeover. I think it's better that way, but I'd like whoostle's/Aldaron's confirmation.

Qwilfish
Abilities: Swift Swim / Poison Point
Base Stats: 65 HP / 95 Atk / 75 Def / 55 SpA / 55 SpD / 85 Spe

Qwilfish can be seen as a support and offensive threat. Though weak on the defensive side, it has a useful movepool, typing, and offensive stat that give it many options. It has a good offensive typing with STAB Water/Poison which is unresisted by all except itself. It functions as a supporter, and a sweeper in and out of Rain Dance. Its common moves include: Taunt, Spikes, Waterfall, Swords Dance, Poison Jab, Aqua Jet, and Explosion. It's most frequently seen as a lead support Pokemon that runs Taunt, Spikes, Waterfall, and Explosion which shuts down most set up leads as well as setting up itself. Its ability Swift Swim allows it to double its Speed in rain, makin it become a potent sweeper as soon as it switches in during rain. The rain sweeper is usually seen as an inferior to Kabutops, but with the moves Swords Dance, Waterfall, Poison Jab, and Explosion it plays a whole different role not being walled by bulky grass types and having explosion at its disposal.

Rhyperior
Abilities: Lightningrod / Solid Rock
Base Stats: 115 HP / 140 Atk / 130 Def / 55 SpA / 55 SpD / 40 Spe

115 base hp coupled with massive attack and solid defense give Rhyperior the ability to be a an offensive, and support threat. Ground/Rock typing gives Rhyperior STAB Quake/Edge which allows it to power through the metagame. Rhyperior is most commonly seen abusing its versatile movepool and physical power to counter the strong flying types of the tier while setting up stealth rocks and hitting back with overpowered stab moves. Most commonly seen at Rhyperiors disposal are the moves Earthquake, Stone Edge, and Megahorn followed by either stealth rocks, rock polish, substitute, or roar on rare occasions. If Rhyperior is seen carrying support moves such as stealth rocks it will be played more as a defensive pivot, but if rock polish or substitue are seen its goal is to power through teams to open holes for other sweepers.

Weezing
Ability: Levitate
Base Stats: 65 HP / 90 Atk / 120 Def / 85 SpA / 70 SpD / 60 Spe

Poison typing coupled with levitate allows Weezing to have a unique niche that allows it to switch into Ground and Fighting types as well as grass types most notably rhyperior, hitmonlee, and venusaur respectively. Weezings dominant prescense in the metagame is to counter Venusaur by running a rest sleep talk set. By resisting both stabs and being able to take sleep Weezing can be seen as the metagames number 1 Venusaur check. Its 120 base defense, unique resistences and Will-o-Wisp also allow it to provide utility and support against all physically based threats. Sludge bomb, Rest, Sleep Talk, Will-o-Wisp, Haze, and Pain split are the moves that should be anticipated for weezing, while the latter two are rather rare.

fixed stuff up to mirror the metagame now. probably needs more work, ill try and fix it up but if someone else catches stuff feel free to change it.

bluewind I added those. a few minor changes I made were
- clarify Uxie's passable stats are its offenses
- mention it can use Sub or ResTalk on Uxie's Calm Mind sets
- cleared up a little phrasing with Steelix

yondie it doesn't really help if you put in random updates that aren't the identified problems, especially if the only reasoning in the post is "metagame update". follow the second post in the thread if you're going to make changes.
