VGC 2010 RMT

Ok everyone, first post and first RMT so here it goes

The Leads
Breloom@Toxic Orb
Jolly---Poison Heal
EVs- 14 HP/248 Attack/248 Speed
IVs- 31 Attack/31 Speed
-Mach Punch
-Seed Bomb
-Rock Slide
-Protect

This little guys is here because i love a poke with a base 130 attack. The speed isn't the greatest, hence the nature for an attempt to make up. The moveset is pretty self explainatory, Seedbomb for a huge stab against ogre and all arround spam; Mach punch for a stab+priority attack against DV smeargle and FM pokes; Protect cause some things can really give him a hard time; and Rockslide for the double hit and some type coverage. If you are wondering about the EV spread, the stat calculator i used showed no difference in stats @ lvl 50 with 248 vs 252...so i figured more bang for my buck.

Ambipom@Life Orb
Jolly---Technician
EVs-14 HP/248 Attack/242 Speed
IVs- 31 Attack/31 Speed
-Fake Out
-Low Kick
-U-Turn
-Ariel Ace

This guy is an interesting scout that i feel will work nice with the option of first turn FO or UT for a suitable switch for the situation without wasting a turn. U-Turn for the built in switch which i can see being very advantageous; FO coupled with jolly nature and 248 EV in speed to try outspeed set up pokes, plus technician+stab+life orb for added boost; AA is there mostly for accurate techni abuse; Low Kick for an effective attack against those big normal tanks and heavy ubers.

The U-Turn Targets

Ho-Oh@Leftovers .
Calm---Pressure
EVs 248 HP/248 SpDefence/14 Defence
IVs 31 HP/31 SpDefence
-Calm Mind
-Recover
-Thunder
-Flamethrower

Calm Mind to abuse this pokes good SpDefence and Recover to rebuild after CM for a turn or two; Flame thrower for the spam move and Thunder to allow it to hang in the rain for a turn and getting a good hit off.

Mewtwo@ChoiceScarf .
Calm---Pressure
EVs 14 HP/248 SpAttack/248 Speed
IVs 31 SpAttack/30 Speed
-Psychic
-Protect
-Blizzard
-Shadow Ball

Mewtwo: Psychic for a powerfull stab move with spam potential; Protect cause bad things can happen; Blizzard to take advantage of hail when i see it; Shadow Ball for tina and psy coverage.

Well thats the team and any constructive advice would be great.

I really don't see Breloom as a viable lead. His is way too frail. The only way he really works in this format is on a trick room team with spore/sub. Even with the speed you've given him things like Ice Shard Weavile will give you trouble.

i agree about the fraility of the breloom, online battles have made your input quite evident. Thnx for the advice.

dude, never put protect on a pokemon that has a choice item. Its like screwing your-self over. Its probably almost as bad as leading with abomasnow and shininja. Just to agree with everyone else, Breloom does not fit. Try hitmontop for another pokemon with mach punch stab. It can also learn sucker punch which is good.
