What am I looking at? An overworld sprite for the electric tadpole?It's a battle sprite.... too small..... sorry. A redo will be in order if you like. Re-posed it and went crazy. Much easier to tell what's going on with the concept now. +)
Still need to shade the tongue-tail a bit more, but otherwise, here's the finished product. Tell me what you guys think!
Btw, glad to see this thread's back up. Expect mor from me soon, because I have nothing to do at school except for one project until Thursday-Friday. I am going to pwn my laziness soooo hard this week... +)
EDIT: Btw, I'd be up for re-working some concepts as well. Concept design is something that takes forever for me, so if I can base something off of an existing design, that would speed me up by allot. If you have any particular sprites in mind, Studio, just say so and I'll get cracking. Don't take this the wrong way but... what exactly am I looking at here? Typing? Base animal? You reference a previous concept but I can think of nothing I have seen you put up before that resembles this. Let me know.
You are welcome to post concept art but there is no Atomic Epic. There are only three Epics in the game: Land, Sea, Air.
We do have a slot open in the Atomic typing though if your concept would work for a regular creature.

My name is Thomas and I am Jon’s boss. Due to his difficulties meeting the deadline for this branch of the project, Jon has been temporarily suspended as creative director. Therefore I am taking over as the coordinator for these sprites until such a time as productivity has been restored. Hopefully we can get these last few sprites finished quickly so that everybody’s normal responsibilities can be resumed. I would appreciate if anyone still active in this thread would be able to give me an update on what they are currently working on (or if they would like an assignment). I made a WIP of the atomic blackbird but have nowhere to go with it. I've tried a colorscheme, which ended badly, so I'll let you decide. (or if its not horrible enough to use) Please don't judge me by my past sprites- (the crappy vulture, narwhal, ant, snail)I've learned from my mistakes!
Jon has not been fired, just simply removed from his management position as it has become clear from the delays that this is not his strong suit.
Doran your Earth Epic is exceptional work as always. Keep up the good work.
EDIT: I also wanted to let you know that we DID save a copy of your new Adult Water Snail so you do not need to worry about that.
@Everyone - I will be posting a comprehensive list of what needs to be accomplished in the next day or two, in the mean time please keep me appraised of what you are working on or come to me for an assignment.lol thanks Thom :D it means alot! i did a prevo to the fire rat, though it looks horrible :p
Planning on starting the spriting of the Metal Armadillo within the next day or so. Still playing with Lineart right now, but if my next concept doesn't surpass my last one, then I am just going to move on with the current design. If I can't finish it and the Infant by the end of this week, they should be done by next week, as that is my Spring break. A whole week off with nothing to do but Nuzlocke and Spriting is a great way to get back in the swing of things, IMO. +)
Also, sorry I wasn't able to rework anything in the gallery over the last week. Smogon was down on my end, so I couldn't pull up any of the base designs. I plan on being more productive next week tho. +)

Super quick update. The gray and green color are subject to change.
I know previously we said that we want them to stay within 200x200 pixels but your's is feeling smaller than the Earth Epic. We really need these to feel huge so expand it so that it actually uses all of the canvas provided and you can even branch out of that a bit if you need to for the pose. Try bringing down the end of the tail so it does not meld with the body anymore (on the left) and the head could be bigger too. Make those jaws massive.
The 237X235 is just because I copy/pasted it from my actual work file.
And I will try to make this look a little more massive.
EDIT: What if I did something like this? Just need to open the mouth a bit. (Excuse the VERY ROUGH sketch. I do not have a tablet, only a mouse to draw with so it's a little harder and messy. But you get the gist of what I'm trying to do, right?)
