weird habits that you have

one thing i've been doing for some years now is jerking back my left shoulder, which kinda makes a muffled knacking sound. not sure if that's healthy, though - there's probably something displaced there which just happened at one point.
I have this EXACT same thing. It's kinda just a habit I can't really break.

I have a weird habit of furtively typing the backslash and backspace consecutively, with a few enter + backspaces mixed in.

My habit is to touch everything to feel its texture :S doesnt matter if i know its pretty hot or is a knife, i just have to touch it xD
This, lol. I just do a lot of fiddling with things that are around me. =x

I also find myself frequently checking the fridge/cupboards/pantry for no reason whatsoever. And I pop my joints a lot, which grosses some of my family out a bit lol.

I just do it naturally, really. I'm the only one in my family who's double jointed I think.

Perhaps I should post a picture later, assuming I can find someone to hold the camera and not shit themselves.

Finally got a picture of this. The picture is too big to post as a regular image however, so I'll give a link instead. Keep in mind, my fingers all go back like that, especially when I crack my knuckles.

Everyday.

Well, sorta. It can go over my knuckles unlike most thumbs, and can sometimes stretch to my wrist.

I won't do the wrist thing though, it hurts like a bitch and I can literally only do it for 3 seconds.

If I'm trying to write the date on a school paper and I zone out, my hand invariably defaults to October of the previous year. I don't even LIKE October :S

edit:

you are not alone, I can do that too

i subconsciously attempt to type in "facebook.com" when I'm bored and open up a new tab, even though I got rid of my Facebook like, 3 weeks ago.

I always move my right shoulder forwards and it makes a crack, just my right not my left.

I try to keep a fan pointed towards me as much as possible otherwise I sweat like crazy, especially when I sleep. I need to have the fan on even during winter.

When I roll over as I sleep, I bring the fan with me to the other side to keep it pointed at my face.

when i don't know what to say in a conversation sometimes i do noodle arms

edit what the fuck happened to my title

well fuck, i look up 'double jointed' and apparently this is what it is. I can do exactly that but that's it, can't bend my fingers the way cell does (cringe).
