What kind of Pokemon (type, ability, role, moves, etc.) do you wish existed?

Once Stealth Rock's maximum damage is capped at 25% and Outrage is nerfed back to 90 BP, I'll be happy. Until then, I'll dream about Hail restoring HP per turn to Ice types. (oops, I broke Stallrein ><)

hail - nondamaging to ice and water would be nice i mean ss doesnt efftect 3 types rock ground and steel

acid rain- i like the idea of it not effecting steels but thats me. mainly because fireblast is now 100% acc and is a new way to deal with steels. thats 2 types we can use in the team instead of one.

i like the 1.5 def and sp def boost. casue lets face it posion is a bad def type... weak to ground... but alot of you want it to be different then the other weather teams. so mayb it can boost speed? but we have already got speed in crobat, and all the other boost are taken that could actually help (evasion, restore hp, boost def).

then i thought what if posion type had 2 weather choices, boosting different stasts.

acid rain - damage nonposion / nonsteel? add a boost of some sort? (abilitly)

smog - (i know it was an attack but lets face it it would make a better weather move. i mean 20bp yea posion really needs that move.) this could be a move and not an ability which means last 5 turns and could do some other stuff that was menotioned like maybe this could make steel types netural to posion.?

yes they would work at the same time... and alone

just some thoughts...

Things I'd like to see:

1. Give a 1.5 defense boost to hail.

2. Give Articuno Snow Warning (It says in almost all his dex entries that he can make snow fall)

3. Have a pokemon that has an auto rapid spin ability when brought in

4. When an auto weather pokemon faints or is switched out have the weather dissipate after 3-4 turns

5. Stealth Rock cap out at about 25% damage

6. A fighting/flying evolution for farfetch'd.

7. A move to induce fog

8. A bug/ground evolution for pinser

9. A dark and psychic type

10. A physical ghost or dark attack that medicham can learn

Also about this acid rain idea. I actually had this same idea myself and this is what i came up with.

-1.5 defense boost to poison types
-increase the chance of poison by about 10%
-hurt non-poison types by the same amount that sandstorm and hail do

Perm-spinning pokemon
Hitmontop?

I thought I posted here already, but the forums say otherwise...

What I REALLY want are some definitive counters to Dragon types as a whole. Multiple counters, so not every team has the same Pokemon on it.

Also, some more auto-weather Pokemon would be really nice. I know that Drought/Drizzle in OU would break every Pokemon with Rain/Sun abilities ever, so a) we can give those abilities to weakish Pokemon (Give Lumineon a purpose, maybe?) and b) nerf auto-weather abilities in general to make the weather dissipate after 5 turns, just like using the moves.

An Ice/Electric Lanturn evo.

Attack-58
Defense-77
Sp.Attack-96
Sp.Defense-96
Speed-67
HP-130

That would work out.

A fighting/flying evolution for farfetch'd.

I'm seriously considering writing a bunch of letters to gamefreak or whoever... :/

We don't want to see "make your own" or "what if <Pokémon> got <move>" threads Sometimes it is fun to dream up your own Pokémon, moves, traits, and towns. However, these type of threads detract from Smogon's focus on the competitive aspect of Pokémon, and as such, we do not want this board littered with them. If you wish to create this type of thread, PM your thread to a moderator for approval, but you can expect your request to be turned down more often than not. In addition, reobserve the forum-wide rule: "Do not create threads that do not support discussion. Creating an entire thread to ask a simple question is not acceptable; do a Google search for that stuff. All thread starters are required to provide a good basis for discussion in their opening post." This means that "what pokémon/move/ability is your favorite/is most overrated" threads should be considered with an "And why?" every time. When you remember that this is a competitive battling forum first and foremost, you will remember that this mindset will help to promote keen discussion beyond simple "x pokémon/move/ability is y/z" answers.
Does this thread follow this rule? It says "make your own", but the create a pokemon isn't for fun, its serious. I'm just not sure if I understand this thread...

I'm guessing this thread is following the rules, I just want to make sure.

why do people suddenly think a dragon needs a four times weakness to ice to stay in ou. Lll it needs is a few common weaknesses eg dragon/fire is weak to earthquake and stone edge which are on most physical attackers

The only thing I want the most is a buff to Ice-Types defensively. Not something like "hey let's make it resist Grass and Water and Normal and the whole world", but only two things:

1. Make Hail give a 50% Defense boost to Ice-Types. Sandstorm got it, damnit;
2. Make it resist Dragon. Ice has always been Dragon's bane, why not make it the be-all-end-all dragonslayer typing?

Oh laudy, can you imagine how awesome Stalrein would be with a Dragon Resist and X1.5 defense? Cloyster and Lapras could also make a big comeback. Not to mention Mamoswine gets yet more awesomeness cred.

Regice would also jump in popularity as Garchomp/Mence counter #1.

No type (monoflying - roosted) pokemon just take all damage neutrally.

Sort of a "???" type?

Seriously, this thing would be too hard to use. To hard to switch in, and would only, really, make a good revenge killer. It probably couldn't even pull this off without a scarf, pursuit, and a fairly high attack, because it wouldn't have a very good STAB (considering a "???" type, which might hit something weird like normal SE).

I find hail teams much worse than dragons. .-.

A ghost/normal pokémon would be cool. Or a move like Mememto/Healing Wish that buffs the pokémon that comes out next.

What I wan't to see is an evolution of all those pokemon that never evolved, like Farfy or Girafarig, or hell even Pachirisu (which totally should have been a normal/electric)
. Just some new type combonatios to spice up the game.

Get ready for this man. Name: Dracossin
Type: Dark
Base Stats: 65/122/50/101/65/124
Ability: Dragonsbane- This pokemon has an immunity to all Dragon type moves. When hit by a Dragon type move all of this Pokemon's move have their power increased by 1/5 for the next 2 turns.
Level-Up moves: Lv. 1 Pursuit

Lv. 15 Ice Punch
Lv. 20 Dark Pulse
Lv. 26 Payback
Lv. 33 Ice Shard
Lv. 38 Taunt
Lv. 48 Dark Omen( Boosts Attack 1 stage and increases the base power of Dark moves by 5 upon every use)
Lv. 56 Ice Breaker( 120 Base Power lowers defense and sp.def 1 stage) Lv. 62 Iceberg( Ice version of stealth rock)

Pokedex Entry: There is only one Pokemon of this species known to exist. A Pokemon Researcher found its body while exploring Antarctica.
Pokedex Entry#2: This Pokemon was originally assigned to defeat all the dragons to prevent further destruction. However, it was defeated whilst in battle with Palkia. It's body temperature is proven to be 15 degrees Fahrenheit.

Secret Pokedex Entry: After its defeat at the hands of Palkia it went all over the world looking for something to help him defeat all Dragon type Pokemon. It finally found what it was looking in the Antarctic. In exchange for the ability to defeat all Dragons, the unknown substance caused his body to be completely paralysed. Somehow it was able to survive not moving in the cold temperatures of the Antarctic. Later research showed that it was born at the same time as Heatran.

Explanation and basic rundown: In case you didn't figure it out yet this Poke is supposed to be the Anti-Dragon sweeper. Coming in on Choiced Outrages Getting off a Dark Omen and then 1HKOing Garchomp with Ice Breaker/Punch. Or coming in on Choice Spec'd Draco Meteors and taking the time to set up Iceberg. It would use sets like these
Set Name: Anti-Dragon
Move 1: Ice Breaker
Move 2: Dark Omen/Iceberg
Move 3: Backstabber
Move 4: Close Combat( Breed with Lucario)
Item: Life Orb/Expert Belt/Focus Sash
Nature: Jolly/Adamant
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Speed

Set Name: Special Sweeper
Move 1: Ice Beam
Move 2: Focus Blast
Move 3: Dark Pulse
Move 4: Nasty Plot( I meant to add before Backstabber)
Item: Life Orb/Expert Belt
Nature: Timid
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Speed

Set Name: Bad Ass
Move 1: Ice Breaker
Move 2: Backstabber
Move 3: Pursuit
Move 4: Close Combat
Item: Choice Band
Nature: Jolly
EVs: 6 HP/252 Atk/252 Speed

Pros: - Many people would be much more hesitant to run Outrage on Chomp or Draco Meteor on Specsmence.
- Versatile
- Has stats right where they need to be
- Would get people to stop complaining about Garchomp as usage would presumably go down
- Has 2 immunities
Cons: Low defenses alongside the defense lowering effects of CC and Ice Breaker means that this thing won't be surviving any hits
- Would do the same thing to Weavile that Garchomp did to Flygon except possibly even more extremely. If Weavile gets Ice Breaker too it won't be that bad though.

Notes: 1. Backstabber is learned at Lv.68 just so you know.
2. I don't have time to edit it in but I'm changing Dracossin's Speed stat to 124. I didn't like when Nintendo created Garchomp and made him have every single stat better or equal to Flygon's respective ones so I won't do that to Weavile fans, even if I'm just speculating.
3. As a reference to the above sentence I would have given Flygon 120 Base Speed, 115 Base Atk, and 95 Sp.Atk. I would also give Flygon access to Dragon Dance and give it a second ability that heals it in a sandstorm.
4. I would also like if Iceberg was given to every Ice Poke.

slow down there buddy. that thing just made every dragon obselete, along with heatran to a degree. that thing is WAY too overpowered, its basically a better weavile.

I wish that there was room for double items on pokemon because i hate choosing between 2 items that i want to put on my pokemon. I mean think about this what would you want to put on your Blissey 1 leftovers or 2 leftovers. This was probably not the best example i can give.

Say hello to brightpowder/sandveil/salac/sub garchomp

Or what about two BrightPowders? Now that Ice Beam all of a sudden has 64.8% accuracy. T-T

And could you imagine Garchomp with a Choice Band AND a Choice Scarf? @_@

EDIT: Or Life Orb and Choice Band/Specs for a ~1.95x boost. X_X

Allowing pokemon to hold two items at once can and most probably will be broken, depending on which pokemon and which two items their holding. I kinda like the idea however, it just need some way to not make it easily abused like no combined effect if user is holding two of the same item.

Also I would like to say that allow a pokemon to have one or two extra moves in his moveslot would be a nice idea to try. The two moves could be back-up moves and a pokemon wouldn't have all 5-6 all at once.
