No, you don't. But I would definitely go back and reread the forum rules, because if there is any other nonsense you'll be moved to the proper blacklist and your thread will get closed. Beware of trading anything that you did not personally breed yourself.

Okay, will do, Mingot. And that leads to a question. For the Redis pokemon, what are the rules behind those, should I wary in trading those, also?

I would be wary of trading anything and everything that I did not breed/reset. You are responsible for what you trade.

Adding into the question/answer session we appear to have here...

So does that mean that even other Smogoner's pokemon that turn up hacked that we've traded can get us blacklisted if it is proven hacked?

Absolutely.

Of course, some common sense would have to be applied based on who actually "bred"/"reset" the Pokemon. When new user has giveaway and makes 10 flawless pokemon redist that is really a case where the recipients should have probably used common sense.

If everstone's smeargle-1 came up as hacked (it won't, it is not hacked, using for an example) then I think we'd have to exercise some common sense.

so, i doubt this is the right place to bring it up, but i don't know where else to bring it up.

is there any action you can take against people who blatantly break active clauses?

it's annoying as fuck, and D/Cing every time sucks big time.

delete this if i'm just being a pansy and need to shut up.

Would it take the responsibility off of us if we put disclaimer in our thread before any pokemon that we didn't hatch/catch ourselves saying something like, "I did not breed these and have not hack checked them. Trade at your own risk." I don't know how to use legal.exe or have a flash cart to check stuff with pokesav, so how am I supposed to know if something is a hack or not?! I check IVs with my AR and can then run it through a stat Calc to make sure it has the right EVs, but that can't detect, say Alakapimp's 512 EV poke (nationals). I also doublecheck the moveset, nature, ability, but that's about as much as I can possibly check. :/

Just curious. I haven't even set up my thread yet, but stuff like the above argument ^^^ just seems rediculous to me and I would rather avoid it.

Disclaimers do not and will not help you. It got very tiring hearing "well, I got this from the neighbor kid and he swore to me it was legit". You are responsible for what you trade.

I don't mean to argue with you, but saying you got it from the "neighbor kid" and another smogoner is totally different in my opinion. If you receive a pokemon from a user, and he allows you to trade it, he is responsible for that Pokemon. But when I trade it, how can I be responsible for another Smogoner's screw up? If this is how it's going to be, I can see half the Wifi Community being blacklisted a smogon redis is found to be hacked.

Again, I'm not arguing with your judgement Mingot, I respect what you've said and I'll follow it. This is just my opinion, and I'll stop discussing if you wish.

Reporting DarkChaos (HCZ) for trading me a horribly hacked Electivire. It's level 50 and it's stats (not IV) read the following:
27 HP
22 Atk
21 DEF
3 SP. ATK
15 SP. DEF
7 SPD

Also ignoring my PM's

@FriDanny: what happens when you put the pokemon in the box then take it out again with regards to the stats?

@DarkChaos (HCZ): when doing IV checks, you need to deposit then withdraw it to avoid such confusion from now on. I'll let you off the hook this time but next time you may not be so lucky.

I requested that it can't be touched by an AR.

EDIT: We're undoing the trade. Sorry about that. Little misunderstanding between us and he didn't reply to the pm for a while

I would like to report TorchicBlaziken for trading a hacked Almia Darkrai. The Darkrai has the move Nasty Plot at Lv 50 when it cannot learn it until Lv 75. It can be found in the ubers section of his thread: http://www.smogon.com/forums/showthread.php?t=54072. He gave trade rights to me after I completed a flawless shiny BP for him. It states he also gave trade rights to Pokeguy and kazuya. I have PM'd them to let them know the situation.

I don't know if this is relevant to you or not or if you already knew this but the darkrai you received from torchicblaziken is a hack, I just found out when trading it for the first time to someone and got blacklisted. I am not blacklisted but I just wanted to let you know in case you've traded it or used it that it is indeed hacked because it has Nasty Plot at Lv 50 when it should not get that move until Lv 75.

Torchicblaziken got the darkrai tutored by someone who said they had platinum and they hacked Nasty Plot onto it; I am guessing they did not have Platinum as it is rather easy to do if you really have Platinum, but I am guessing that they did not and just wanted a copy. That being said, the darkrai is not hacked (at least for that reason) as I have a UT Darkrai that I got from Torchicblaziken him(her?)self, on my Diamond game, long before platinum even came out. Thus, the move was hacked, while the pokemon could very well be legit.

That being said, I don`t really care because I got a few better ones when RNG was cracked, but for the sake of Torchicblaziken`s reputation I thought I would post. This pokemon could very well have been hacked, but it is not hacked for the reason given.

EDIT: the same thing happened to me a while back, when I traded the Darkrai to someone and they pointed that out. I thought it was hacked too, until I found the UT one on my Diamond game, which I got when I first traded for this Darkrai, and saved because I simply forgot to delete it. I got a second copy of the Darkrai in question (level 50 with Nasty Plot) from Torchicblaziken a while after Platinum came out; he(she?) traded it to my Platinum game.

added TorchicBlaziken, whom hasn't posted here in a month, to the wi-fi blacklist. nasty plot on a lv.50 darkrai is illegal!

So far as AR-touched pokemon by checking IVs, so long as it is put back in box then taken out again it should be fine. If it weren't fine, then all the people I traded pokemon to that used them in VGS Worlds would've complained about it awhile ago.

Wo wo wo wo I ran waited for the win lose screen and then turned my ds off if anything I had bad timing. If he wants the win (although an undeserved one) I'll go wifi and give it to him.

Just to pitch in, I can verify that firsthand. IV checking sets off no flags when run through the "Official TPCi Hack Check". Unless it's a "personal/moral" thing of yours, there's really no problem with it.
