RODAN

Banned deucer.

I personally am looking forward to some things on this list, such as fate/zero and guilty crown

so smogon, what do you plan on watching in the autumn

Woah, Fate and Higurashi got sequels? I think I saw them in high school. Don't think I'll be assed to watch anything this season just like I haven't for the past several years, but I'm tempted to start Bakuman sometime. I loved Death Note and it looks interesting.

In all honesty, Bakuman is much better as a manga, but I just like watching how slow paced and dialogue driven it is compared to all those other shonen manga. It's easier to read as text at your own pace opposed to subs, but I dunno, I just enjoy it.

I don't at all see why Fate/Zero was a story that needed telling.

But I'll play/watch/read anything Fate/Stay related, so...

Lupin?
Higurashi?
Fate/Zero?
Persona4?
Deadman Wonderland!?
/dies from awesome

From Afterlife: Wtf is this Guilty Crown shit? Someone must have c/p'ed Code Geass' plot on accident...

Future Diary becoming an anime? Hell yes! That has to be one of the most thrilling manga I've read in a while. I'm not as excited for Bakuman 2, since I think it's much better as a manga. I mean, to begin with, you really do need to suspend as much of your disbelief as possible to make the manga work, but seeing the events of the latter chapters play out in an anime will make it seem much more stupid than it really is.

And Lupin and S-cry-ed? Really? Don't get me wrong, I really did enjoy the both of them a while ago when they used to air, but is there any kind of existing fanbase for those? Seems like those two just came out of nowhere.

I really don't know anything at all about the rest. I can't just go into anime blindly based on premise alone; there's just way too many of them with too few gems in the rough.

cool, didn't know that Mirai Nikki got an anime version

the last few chapters were pretty awkward, though

ika musume sequel \o/ and persona 4 anime

the question: can i be bothered watching it?

pfft you better watch, season 2 is going to be as fun as season 1 (the manga has stayed good through 150 chapters so nothing should change)

Chihayafuru and Persona 4 look like the best two others, but the former will be zzzz shoujo and video game adaptations usually do not try to do too much

Hotarubi no Mori e will be better than all the series

NEW LAST EXILE? Best news I've gotten all month <333

An unnecessary sequel to something from several years ago is good news to you? I would bet you anything that it is completely fucking terrible, 90% of unnecessary, years later sequels are vomit inducing terrible.

Lupin III is going to be fucking trash. The first series was amazing, the second series was trash, and the third series was mega trash. You can tell just from the art that the character personalities and overall style is going to be obnoxious instead of "authentic" again.

Mirai Nikki better not be trash or I am going to skullfuck Fishy.

I told you to read the manga, but watching the anime is close enough. Do it!

approximate hype ranking:

fate zero - awesome source material, ufotable does good adaptions, yuki kaijura doing the soundtrack...hard to go wrong
guilty crown - noitamina, looks like code geass, supposedly has a good director or something
ika musume - more of the first season, which was great
persona 4 - hard to say how this will pan out but the game is very good
hunter x hunter - really doesn't need a remake but I loved the first series so I'm sure I'll enjoy this
majikoi - source material is good, will likely be a fun watch
mirai nikki - the manga is good up to a certain point, i just hope this is better than the crappy "preview" anime
shana s3 - okay first two seasons, may as well finish it up

most other stuff on the chart looks interesting enough to at least try, seems like this is going to be the best season in a long time
