Tired for the last efforts, Hydrus Chills a bit to restore some energy to his battered body. Meanwhile, Jadescale can't move, striken by an instance of full paralysis.

Finished the quick nap, Hydrus summons from behind another gigantic wall of water to submerge the canyon, while Surfing stylishly all over it. The Treecko can do little to avoid it, once again blocked by full paralysis.

Hydrus seems really exhausted - in fact, he pretty much has to take a breath after any attack. While he chills, though, Jadescale shrugs off the sparks of electricity throughout his body and harass the Monohm with another barrage of Leech Seeds which easily plant all over his body.

Rain stops falling

Energy Storm goes first now

I guess there isn't much to do now. That Monohm is really putting up a good fight.

Energy Ball > Double Team (1 clone) > Energy Ball

Hydrus has a little fight left in her but not much. Smack two Signal Beams into that Treecko and then Chill out a little more.

Signal Beam -> Signal Beam -> Chill

Round 8

HP 76

Item: None
Other: Paralyzed (15% chance)

HP 30
Energy 20
Item: None
Other: Leech Seeded (5 more actions)

Tired and covered in vicious seeds, Hydrus doesn't lose faith and assaults Jadescale directly with a Signal Beam, piercing violently through his tiny body and scoring a critical hit. Battered but angry and vengeful, the Treecko retaliates with an Energy Ball. The green sphere of life leaves a mark even into the Monohm's draconic (yet sooo fluffy^^) body and lowers his Special Defense by (1) stage.

On the verge of defeat, Hydrus yet keeps up with the battle and fires off yet another Signal Beam. Jadescale suffers the hit - he seems to have some problems standing up to the Monohm's might - but he dashes back and foward at blistering speed to confuse Hydrus and create an illusory clone of itself. Will the Monohm be able to pierce through the Double Team?

Hydrus is once again very tired, and chills out a bit to recover his forces. The Treecko doesn't stare idle, though, and harass the Monohm with another glowing Energy Ball.

@Wyverii: you can chill only once more before reaching the limit of 5 chills allowed for this battle

Wyverii goes first

Let loose another Surf before Signal Beaming once more, you should probably be long gone before the second action, never mind the third but just in case Tackle.

Surf -> Signal Beam -> Tackle

Round 9

Energy 29
Item: None
Other: Paralyzed (10% chance), +1 Evasion

HP 3
Energy 16
Item: None
Other: Leech Seeded (2 more actions)

In a desperate attempt to react, Hydrus summons a huge tidal wave from behind him, to sink his opponent in a watery grave. The Surfing wave crushes Jadescale, who luckily manages to dampen the hit due to his leaven appendages soaking part of the water. The same thing cannot be said for his clone, which sorely disappears. The Treecko decides the battle has gone for too long, though, and finishes the Monohm with a quick Energy Ball. Then, he Chills out for a good while.

Now Wyverii will have to send forward her next Pokémon, then Energy Storm will issue his actions. Above in the sky, the flock of Mandibuzz fly in long circles...

Holy crap, I forgot about this. Really sorry guys.

Jadescale, let's capitalize on our new type advantage and use Substitute. Then snare Piplup with a Leech Seed and finish with Energy Ball again.

Substitute (10 HP)> Leech Seed > Energy Ball

Jadescale gains new confidence as the Monohm falls in defeat. Now in comes King the Piplup! Will this little fellow live up to his noble name?

The Treecko isn't eager to allow him to do so, and covers himself behind a Substitute. However the Piplup promptly shatters the doll with a well aimed Ice Beam. Such tricks won't work against a king, he seems to wanna say.

Exhausted by the confrontation with Hydrus, Jadescale throws some Leech Seeds on King, in a desperate attempt to restore some health to his battered body. Such is not the Piplup's plan, though. Another frigid Ice Beam smites Jadescale, freezing some of his leaven appendages.

The Treecko tries to stop the gelid barrage with an Energy Ball, which stings painfully on King's dampened skin and lowers his Special Defense by (1) stage. However this victory is short-lived for Jadescale, as the Piplup delivers a fatal blow with yet another Ice Beam, leaving only a cool lizard (in many senses) in its wake.

Congratulations, Wyverii, on your success!
