Stunfisk

Anyways what the hell might start writing
Day1:
I awake in my apartment with a startle to find that the power's out. Groggily, I roll off the couch and look out the window, and the sight ahead of me wakes me up and chills me in surprise and fright - Zombies, everywhere in the streets, with some of them making their way towards my apartment complex. In a rush, I grab my backpack and stuff as much Gatorade and food as I can, putting on my shoes and grabbing both my dad's pistol and the aluminum baseball bat I keep. I open the door to find a little ball thing, a little over the size of a marble, red on top and white on bottom with a button in the center. I press it, and it grows to about half again the size of a baseball. This intrigues me, so I keep it in my hand as I run into the hallway.
I make my way towards the stairs, and head down to the bottom floor and make my way out of the complex. The first zombie I encounter is on the third flight of stairs, missing an arm but still very dangerous if I don't check it quickly. I take it out with a quick headshot, thanking my dad in my head for taking me hunting every summer. At this point I look in my pistol and see how many bullets I have left - 14 bullets. I stop for a few seconds, frowning at the pistol and thinking about how I'm supposed to keep myself alive with just a baseball bat and a ball thing that I can probably hit several yards. Before trashing the sphere-thing I take one last look at it, and it hits me - it's a damn PokeBall. I smile, thinking that its just a toy, that I outgrew Pokemon a few years back. I press the button in the middle - the PokeBall opens, and in a burst of light, a fish thing pops out - Stunfisk. I moan slightly, thinking that I can't do anything with it. I keep it anyway, hoping it tastes like flounder.
I find my way out of the apartment, feeling slightly fatalistic knowing that sometime in the immediate future I'll be one of these zombies. As soon as I step out a group of about 30 zombies faces me and shambles in my direction. I use my bullets to take out the first ones incoming, though I then immediately curse myself for getting rid of my most valuable asset. I think, fuck it, and decide to throw out Stunfisk about 10 meters in front of the zombies. Its eyes suddenly light up with some inner determination that I didn't know animals could have - in front of it, a crack in the road opens up and goes down to around 50 meters down, taking every single zombie in the group with it. My eyes widen with astonishment - Fissure. I smile at the Stunfisk, who returns the favor by winking. Feeling a lot better knowing I had a nice weapon at my disposal, I put Stunfisk back in the Pokeball and decide to head out in the morning from Solon Apartments to the nearest city, Cleveland, to find more supplies and maybe even transportation or survivors.
However, I needed rest. I go back into my apartment, locking the door behind me and sleeping in the bathroom, which is also locked.
To Be Continued.
