Funny story : when I first watched the anime w my friend we wanted to go into it completely spoiler-free but my curiosity got the better of me and I ended up learning that Gilbert survived (which I already predicted so I wasn’t disappointed at all :J) and Violet was dead as of the ending of the movie. My jaw literally dropped after reading that and I was speechless for about 5 minutes D: And the worst part was I had to keep the secret from my friend so anytime my friend said anything about how precious Violet was and they hope she gets a happy ending there was this sense of dread in my mind like “omg girl how am I gonna tell you this”. It was only after we finished the movie that I realised the wiki misled me >:V

Seriously tho why would you list Violet as deceased but Gilbert as alive ;–; I thought the movie was gonna end with Violet sacrificing herself for Gilbert against old enemies they fought in the war or smth

Hey man I got inspired by rain teams after your toxicroak video and wanted to try one for myself, so I did.
it took a lot of modifications and testing to get here but it still feels somewhat inconsistent

Toxicroak, Toedscruel, Gliscor(gambit counter) being the defensive core
Barra and Crown for the Force (Crown doesn't benifit too much from rain [neutral to fire] but its a great revenge killer or switch in when opponent wastes a turn)
and pelipper for rain

After that, I decided to build another rain team just for fun, but this time I wanted to use different Pokémon to experiment instead of repeating mons I already used before. I tried Thundurus since it has higher Special Attack than Zapdos, but it doesn’t get Hurricane for some reason, which was disappointing.

To make up for that, I added a Life Orb Tornadus to fully abuse rain with Hurricanes and Weather Ball. The rest of the team is mostly there to provide defensive pivots and safe switch-ins when I feel threatened. Corviknight helps a lot into Kingambit, but it can also end up sweeping teams on its own if the opponent misplays and lets me set up.

well that ended up being a busier day than anticipated. Im -5 timezone, ill be awake around 8:30am my time and will have about an hour window there to play before I start work. If that doesn't work then we can play anytime between 7pm to midnight my time tmrw. Lmk wat works best
