Yea, I do see where you are coming form though. It does lower the value of other pokemon. Sort of like technology in the agriculture world of today, new technology means cheaper prices and lower incomes, and redi poke do the same. But having just one redi thats perfect and everyone can enjoy came to my interest that's all. But I do get your drift.

If I set Show Speed : Detailed it says that I'm doing 6 FPS at frame skip 9, and when I set it at frame skip 1 it says I'm doing 30 FPS..

OmegaD's Celebis don't have invalid trash bytes, but he used an American cart to get them. I'd have to check mine, which were obtained with an actual Japanese cart with no modification of the Colosseum Bonus Disc.
Does it make a difference if you set Frame Skip at 1 or 9 while you set Throttle at 1000% ? Because, as far as I think right now, it doesn't.

You have to make a save state + normal save to see your frame, yes.
if the frame is far away from a usable spread, you just soft reset and repeat that process.
