a movie IRC viewing?

I'd be interested, also up for skype. The only question I have is how everyone is going to watch it? Is there going to be a stream or something or does everyone just have to go out and "find" the movie themselves and then just start it at the same time?

EDIT: Also I don't particularly care what movie we watch
 
Yeah we used to do this kinda thing with skype on another site and it was really cool. Also if Pokemon wasn't so competitively supported online I would say Digimon was always a lot cooler JS!!!!!
 
This sounds like a cool idea. Digimons can talk right? it's been... at least 10 years since I've even thought the word Digimon lol. Is it any good? 'Cause I really wanna watch Mewtwo Strikes Back again. Damn that movie was awesome, it actually made me cry. But if you guys have already done it...
 
Good idea, dude. Don't let the haters get to you. I would do this, but I don't use IRC and I have a night classes on Thursdays, but I still wanted to show my support!
 
Yeah I'm down for this, definitely able on IRC but am not 100% sure about Skype. 9 pm EST is the best time for a movie.
 
Would you consider doing this earlier? I'm GMT-3 plus Daylight Saving Time with means it would start at 3 a.m. for me. It would be also easier for the Europe critters.

Supporting Digimon and Skype.
 
Is this still happening tonight? If so let me know and I'll cancel plans just so I can instead get drunk on irc with you guys( I mean how often do I get the chance to get drunk with you peeps on irc? I can't miss out this time)

No but seriously, let me know soon because I am in downtown Bellevue at the moment and there's a liquor store like a block away, I can stop by there and pick up something. I also wouldn't mind some advice on what to get, I am completely inexperienced when it comes to buying alcohol, what's the good(and cheap) stuff?

I have an idea. Let's all go and watch a flick from our car on a big ass billboard at the same time. We could all use our IMTS to call each other during the flick and voice our opinions with each other while the movie is going on like we were there watching the movie together.
