"Alright, the poison is annoying but we're right where we wanted to be! Taunt him again then use another Leech Seed! If you still can hit him with a final Leaf Storm!"

Summary:
Taunt -> Leech Seed -> Leaf Storm
If he uses Protect action 1 chill and push actions back
If he uses evasive Agility use Pursuit and push actions back

"This is a little dicey thanks to the fact that how Multi Hit attacks exactly work with Substitutes remains uncodified, but I do believe that a single Pin Missile attack should bring him down before we have to get seeded again. That is provided hax doesn't rear its head."

Pin Missile > Poison Sting > Bug Bite

As Leafstrike baits Curl again, Curl attacks with a flurry of missiles which pierce the decoy & deal damage to Leafstrike! Sadly, before Leech Seed could heal him, poison damage killed off Leafstrike...

As deadfox081 goes up 4-3 Flamestrike needs to be very careful as to who he sends out! Who will he choose? We shall see soon enough...

"This seems like the best opportunity we have to engineer a switch that might be mildly in our favour. Take a rest Curl and wipe away that Taunt. Its time Sucker got back into the fray."

"Okay Sucker, you know how to deal with Nidorinos. You beat one when you were but a little Zubat. Confuse it then pounce with your strongest attacks. Watch out for it trying to Counter you though."

Confuse Ray > Zen Headbutt > Fly
IF
Counter is used action 2 or 3 THEN replace your action with Air Slash

Realizing that he didn't have Protect, suddenly Brandon was in a much tougher situation than he originally thought. "Well, there's nothing we can do about Confuse Ray, so just hammer him with a Thunderbolt, and follow up with an Ice Beam! Then since we won't have much better to do action three, set up some Toxic Spikes and force Whirlipede to come back in early!"

Summary:
Thunderbolt -> Ice Beam -> Toxic Spikes
If it is an acceptable combo and we're allowed to use comboes A3 (it was recently codified as working so I dunno if IAR's willing to accept it or not) use Ice Beam + Thunderbolt A3 instead

After a double switch, Sucker begins with a peculiar ray which confuses Sludgestrike. Sludgestrike tries to respond, but hits himself. Sucker then rams into Sludgestrike, dealing a lot of damage, but snapping him out of confusion, as Sludgestrike fires a cold beam, denting Sucker. Sucker then flies up & swoops, striking Sludgestrike, who responds with a powerful cold beam, enveloped in electricity which knocks Sucker out cold!

The scores are 3-3 now, And it looks like this battle is really going to heat up now! What will deadfox send in next? How will Flamestrike respond? And anything else that will happen? We will see soon enough...

I really didn't issue those actions thinking a 3rd action combo was possible, but I won't kick up too much of a stink as it didn't make a lot of difference. I will however be working on the assumption that a mon cannot switch out while owing a cooldown.

"Nice work Sucker. You put quite a dent in him with your own relatively low HP. Its time that Sparks got out there against the one remaining opponent that doesn't completely bone you..."

Well if I can't switch then you have to order, but I guess we have to find out first? For what it's worth I agree that you probably can't switch on cooldown (can't switch after using Hyper Beam/etc in-game), but I suppose we should make sure.

deadfox is correct, issue actions Flamestrike. Also, when in doubt, just follow in-game mechanics, imo, so...

Oh, I derped -_- I saw "he's switching and waiting for me to switch" and thought "oh switch phase and I have to say no so he orders" and yeah. No.

"Nice work Sludgestrike, now let's keep it going! First you'll have to recover from your combo, then nail him with a Sludge Bomb and finish off with an Ice Beam!"

cooldown -> Sludge Bomb -> Ice Beam

"Okay Sparks, time to use that funky gem thing to our advantage. We only need to take one hit here and this thing is outta here. Unfortunately you are horribly weak to the two other Pokemon he has, but that's a problem for the future..."

As Sludgestrike recovers from his combo, a high-pace damage war ensues with lots of damage being dealt on both sides! Eventually, Sparks wins the damage war as Sludgestrike faints after abusing the Gem's aura, but it didn't come without consequence, though, as Poison Point did it's job of Poisoning Sparks!

With deadfox edging forward 3-2, time appears to be running out for Flamestrike! How will he fight back? Let's see...

"Alright, you're back up Glacierstrike! I'm going to need every little bit you and Stonestrike can give me, but I know we can do it!"

Hey, IAR. You reffed that round based on the incorrect stats for my Luxio that Lou had posted in the OP. He's Rash which makes his stats 3/2/3/1 rather than the 4/1/2/2 you have worked from. This pretty much makes the result of every attack either way different so if it's quite alright with the pair of you I would like to hold off issuing my actions until I know exactly where I'm standing at. Cheers.

Nah no blame on you mate. Also I blame the mistake in my profile of Luxio having 100 HP on the DAT having it wrong also. Anywho back to business..

"I swear you're going to be useful one day Sparks, its just hard to match up against these used to be FEs. Not to mention it is a downright terrible time for that gem to turn all blue and watery. You're basically muted here, so lets go with the annoy path instead."

Protect is used (and is non consecutive) THEN use Double Kick and push your actions back
IF you have not successfully Roared Piloswine by action 3 THEN force Roar as your action 3

As Flamestrike sends in Glacierstrike one more time, he is instantly pricked by the Needle Spikes. It doesn't bother him, as Glacierstrike instantly strikes Sparks at an insane speed, striking critically! Sparks responds by showing that he's got that swagger, confusing Glacierstrike, but making him stronger. Glacierstrike tries to strike, but whacks himself into a wall, as Sparks lets out a mighty roar, stunning Glacierstrike! Sparks then advances & whacks Glacierstrike twice with a powerful kick, & Glacierstrike, back to normal, lets off a powerful tremour which knocks Sparks out!

After 17 long rounds, the scores stand at 2-2, but what's this? Glacierstrike is suddenly forced inside his Poke Ball, & all of a sudden, Stonestrike takes his place! Stonestrike is pricked by the spikes as well, but this match seems to be going down to the wire! What will deadfox send in? A weakened Curl, or a fresh Burst? Let's await what happens...
