Pokémon Black 2 and White 2 - Mark 2 ** Spoilers **

Is it because I chose to train 5 pokemon since the start that I am always behind 3-4 levels of most trainers / gym ?
Somewhat, but depending on your team you can perform anywhere from terribly to fine. My team was underlevelled virtually throughout the game and it performed quite decently (when I went into Elite 4 my highest was a Lv56 Lucario and the lowest was Volcarona at Lv48 :x). It really depends.

Well, there's this whole list in the Dojo that specifically raises EVs:

And then there's this stuff in the Cafe that says they raise base stats:
Good Luck A Lunch Café The Pokemon who eats this has its base HP raised high.
Good Luck B Lunch Café The Pokemon who eats this has its base Attack raised high.
Good Luck C Lunch Café The Pokemon who eats this has its base Defense raised high.
Good Luck D Lunch Café The Pokemon who eats this has its base Speed raised high.
Good Luck E Lunch Café The Pokemon who eats this has its base Sp.Atk raised high.
Good Luck F Lunch Café The Pokemon who eats this has its base Sp.Def raised high.
Special Lunch Café A special lunch only available to regular customers. The Pokémon's level is raised by one.
Off Menu A Café The Pokemon who eats this has its base HP raised very high.
Off Menu B Café The Pokemon who eats this has its base Attack raised very high.
Off Menu C Café The Pokemon who eats this has its base Defense raised very high.
Off Menu D Café The Pokemon who eats this has its base Speed raised very high.
Off Menu E Café The Pokemon who eats this has its base Sp.Atk raised very high.
Off Menu F Café The Pokemon who eats this has its base Sp.Def raised very high.

One says they raise EVs and the other says base stats???
It seems (unfortunately) unlikely to me that the developers would introduce an IV-changing item to the game, for the reason that it would change the type and power of Hidden Power, and thus rather confuse some players.

It's already been stated that both of those raise EVs. Both in this topic and Serebii stated it over at GameFAQs. Serebii just goofed on the wording of the second one.

@RBG

I do believe you have to take Keldeo to a certain place in the game first. It is entirely possible for Keldeo with Secret Sword to exist in BW2 without being in its Resolution Forme, as proven by people who received the Wondercard.

There are several videos of Keldeo's transformation taking place on YouTube, although Serebii is being a bit skimpy on the details in the Alternative Forms page.

In the process of breeding a decent Axew, I noticed something very interesting.

Every single one of my 10 eggs that came from an everstoned parent was jolly.

This means that there's a 99.9% (better than RBY accuracy!) that Everstone always passes on nature.

I realize that my sample size is pretty small, but again, the chances of this occurring with a 50% chance is less than 0.1%.

Anybody want to affirm or deny?

oh my God...
Somebody please check this!! If it's true it'll be one of my favorite changes!! Breeding takes too long but with this...
:D

10 is waaaay too small of a sample size to come to a conclusion like that. You can flip a coin 10 times in a row and get heads each time. It doesn't mean the odds of getting heads are suddenly 99.9% :/

I'd call it a fluke until someone is actually able to confirm a percentage. Maybe now would be a good time for you to hit the casino, though ^.^

HOLY CRAP~?!?!?!?!?! *SHITS BRICKS* Let this be true :D:D:D *but yea, small sample size could be(very) misleading ;-;*

Yeeeaaah, I'm not buyin' it; I'll wait for the guys at the RNG thread rip apart the egg formula.

So Serebii's updated the Dream World areas and from what I can see every Unova Pokemon's Dream World ability is available... except Litwick. That's our TrollFreak...

The game's code is 100% identical between BW1 and BW2 when it comes to everstones.
Basically if the highest bit of the rng call is 1 it passes and if it's 0 it fails. There's an equal chance of the bit being 1 or 0 so 50:50 chance.

EDIT:
Never mind it looks like GF made a huge mistake and the first egg you receive will ALWAYS have the exact same nature/everstone/inheritance value.

I don't really think that litwick being the only currently unavailable Unova DW mon is intentional. TPCi probably couldn't care less about smogon OU and Shadow Tag mean's practically nothing in VGC, especially with team preview.

So, Bond679, what does that all entail for the average RNG abuser? I get that GameFreak messed up the order in which the game does some of its maths, but how does it affect RNGing (in layman's terms, please)? o.o

Ooh, let's hope that Shadow Tag Gothorita is female (or at least can be manipulated as such). Still no sign of Litwick line.

Wait... That leaves Unova starters and monkeys. Poor little Snivy...

I think this means every Egg you produce will have, in example, ability 1 - female gender - Jolly/Everstone Nature - 31/A/28/5/B/A.

Oh hey: http://pokejungle.net/ ; http://www.e-hon.ne.jp/bec/SP/SA/Detail?refBook=978-4-8401-4635-7&fb_source=message

Shadow Tag Gothorita to be given via password with the guidebook coming out on the 9th
YES

Wow, that's... pretty screwed up. You think they will update it like they did with the door surfing thing in DP? Hopefully they do.
