Narrowing it down to only 10 is hard, but i gave it a try.
Sun City Girls - 330,003 Crossdressers From Beyond the Rig Veda: Probably the most priced and my most treasured record i own. It's hard to define this album, genre wise. World music, folk rock, freak folk, ambient, etc, it fits into many categories and i love every second out of it.
Death in June - But, What Ends When the Symbols Shatter?: Death in June is
the defining artist for neofolk, and this album is
the defining album for Death in June. Young Douglas Pearce had the voice of an angel, and the lyrics are great and will always stay in my head.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor - Slow Riot for New Zerø Kanada: I am a huge sucker for GY!BE so i had to include something, even though the decision was almost impossible to make since i love all of their albums. Slow Riot is one of the few records that i consider overall perfect. Technically it's an EP, but the two pieces are probably the most moving ones GY!BE ever made. Also Sophie is a qt.
Fennesz - Endless Summer: Electronic, ambient, glitch, electroacoustic, Fennesz is again an artist that is hard to label. His 2001 LP has been my jam ever since i found out about this austrian musician. This album still manages to give me goosebumps after listening to it for the felt thousand time.
Life in the Dark - The Sunya is Rising: LitD is a solo project by Zen Zsigo who is also in charge of Cremation Lily, Livimorket and Maths. All of his releases are incredibly hard to find, but i am incredibly happy i was able to dig up this gem. One of the most impressive showing of pure emotions. (it was also the only one of his works that had a cover on topsters, even though it's just plain black. #so_deep)
Coil - The Ape of Napels: Rip John Balance ;_;7. Always gives me loads of feels.
Can - Future Days: There are a couple of albums that could take this place, i just felt like putting some Krautrock album and Future Days felt like a worthy representation. Ege Bamyasi, Tago Mago, Faust IV, Cluster 2, Cottonwoodhill, alot things that could be in this place but i had to decide for one.
Urfaust - Verräterischer, Nichtswürdiger Geist: I used to listen to alot black metal "back then", nowadays i really don't anymore. Urfaust is one of the most innovative bands in the genre i know and one of the few i still actually enjoy. I am also a huge sucker for their first and third album and again i couldn't decide which one to take, even though this one has the dopest cover, that is probably why i took it.
Man's Gin - Smiling Dogs: I am really not into that kind of folk usually, and i can't remember how the hell i got to this band, but i love this album and got drunk to it alot, sue me.
Have a Nice Life - Deathconsciousness: This thing is huge and probably my most listened album of all time. I don't know what to say about it anymore, other than that it still manages to leave me speechless. I love it and Dan is kinda cute no homo.
Honorable mentions: everything in here

A couple of the lists here made me cringe a little, others have really good picks. But i'm sure you are all wonderful people or something.
