Look At What I Chained

was chaining last night without any success. i got my chain up to 40, got 7 shiny bronzor, and then my fat finger pushed run instead of bag... grrrr.

1 out of those 7 were the right nature, none with good IVs. i was so pissed i went back over there and did it all over again. got 5 shinies, and the four in my party were also not synched.

so i still have the game on right now downstairs waiting for me to play again, but wtf is that?!? hopefully better luck later tonight.
 
Well, I chained these Pokemon over the course of...about two weeks:

1 Starly (Jolly)
3 Shinx (1 Adamant (Likes to thrash about), 2 Jolly)
2 Roselia (1 Naive, 1 Serious)

I can't get their IVs as of now, and I don't have any Wi-Fi, so...yeah... >.>;

lol, yeah, but the odds aren't exactly in your favor either. Too bad that last one is heatproof and ... well, fast. xD At least you have 28 shiny bronzers, go trade the crap ones off at gamefaqs or something. xD
 
I'm wondering.. with the 4 away and it's 'buddy'

Is it ok for the 4 away's buddy to be even farther away and on the border of the patch of grass?


Can corners of the 4 and its' buddy be touching?
 
no corners can be touching hen. and your four away is always the furthest away? if you mean can your four away be say one to the left and 4 up, while your three away is three over and two up, then yes that's fine.

I'd be happy enough with a shitty one for now. I just want to use it as my flier in game! :D

Only shinies I have that I could trade are Ditto and Ponyta though...?
 
Swellow is one of my many Chaining rebels who got to 40, didn't show a shiny patch after over 3 hours of resetting and then the chains got broken by clumsiness on my part with 0 shinies. It has happened to me with Kricketot, Wurmple, Swellow, Meditite and Ralts off the top of my head.
 
Well, I've only tried about three times, and I haven't managed to get to forty yet... Carelessness once and the game screwing me at 35 and 37 the other two times -_-
 
well chained a relaxed natu. kinda pissed cuz i had my modest sync in front and my relaxed sync in the back of my party. havent checked IV's, in the middle of chaining phanpy. technically, im at a chain of one, but oh well.

ill be back with IV's that hopefully arent as shitty as the nature.

EDIT: well, broke my chain on two cuz i suck, so, IV time.

Say you encounter a shiny at chain 25.
Do you continue to approach 40, or keep resetting at 25?

Awesome! I wish I had the patience/experience to be able to chain in that sandstorm, it just seems impossible to me. :(
 
Yea, sandstorm is no easy business, it definitely requires a lot of patience and luck as well. And yes, keep approaching 40 after an early shiny.
 
all right. just got two shiny larvititars, both quiet cuz i wanted to make boah. then i realized i would need a perfect HP iv. but i didnt give, i kept on trying, but didnt get any perfects. i did get this one though.
