it appears in route 209 and route 210? as well as the trophy garden?

i obtained mine in route 209 just for the record. glad everyone likes it though. will be home later tonight.
 
Been having a horrible time chaining shiny Hoppips for Pokeguy...oh, well. I managed to chain some Dittos the other day, ended up getting:

Natures don't help any of them much, but IVs are nice. Might even be usable.
 
I'm hoping I will chain a good shiny Sneasel soon, since the Jolly Swords Dance Set can use Ice Shard over Ice Punch and requires no egg moves. I hope I luck out like with Starly.
 
Gah my chain of Chatots broke on 37 >_< Meh no shinies out of it, couldn't even catch one. Was too orientated on getting to 40 :P

Yeah, anyways, other day, got a shiny Starly( lol I know ) on a chain of 3 after they both broke on 30 two times.
 
I gave up on my swellow hunt. I was really having a rough time keeping a chain.. It broke at 11 way too many times.. and I can't seem to find enough time to devote to it to make a real stab at it. I'm trying a different bird this go around. It seems SO MUCH easier with a larger grassy patch.

How many times on average do you guys reset the pokeradar when the shaking grass isn't suitable?
 
Hen - As long as it takes, sometimes thats 3 tries, sometimes it's 20. I've gone like 10 minutes between patches when it gets into the 30's since I don't wanna break it. See the conservative theory, lol.
 
Thanks for the response, Diesel. That's good to know. I've spent a decent amount of time resetting pokeradar and was curious if that was normal or not.


I set up for this current chaining 'excursion' for the long haul.. 500+ max repels and a ton of leppa berries. *crosses wings* hope I get something out of it!

I'm trying to learn as much as I can from Kingbattlus and other people like yourself that know how to make this work. If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to talk to you on msn/aim/yahoo from time to time about it... pm me with your sn if you're up for that? If not no hard feelings :)
 
I was strictly following the conservative method this morning.. and my chain broke on a 2 & 4 away. sadcucco;

Now I'm just going into 4 aways that don't look 'bad' to me.. I figure I'll pick up on the conservative method if I get higher up. At least it's going by faster!
 
In my off time from a breeding project I'm doing, I'm considering chaining something. So, is there something you guys want me to go for it particular?

Also, I'd prefer no weather or obstructed views. :)
 
Damn Slowpoke... Its giving me so much trouble. The patches are fine, no risky move on my part, and they still keep being Bidoof. hmph.

Anyway, here's its stats:

So... it may not be amazing, but for only having one to choose from, I think it's pretty good.
Even if the attack isn't good, Swords Dance can help that. If not, it can be a staller, with Toxic and such. :)

I have mixed feeling about only getting one, but overall I'm pleased.

it's not great but it's usable. congrats on the shiny!

it's not the 20 hp I was talking about, but the 9 attack. not a big deal though
