DragMag SalacGar + TR Reun
:Magnezone: :reuniclus: :jirachi: :gengar: :salamence: :maushold:
This team is inspired by BKC's video on bw dragmag.

:Magnezone:: Traps every steel in the tier other then uturn rachi. Occa and the ev spread lets you trap Hoodra . Once the steel is eliminated mag can still help vs stuff like yanmega , pivot with volt switch and sometimes be a wincon with tera ground and idef+body press

:reuniclus:: Trick room is great utility on drag mag, helping a lot into the offense mirror and is a stop gate to a lot of things that can snowball vs this team. The spread lets reun live a krook knock, tera flying scarf gapdos bb, +1 Mence outrage. With max sp attack and lorb reun hits like a truck. Psychic is chosen over Psynoise for some important rolls (i forgot what) and shadow ball and fb are coverage.

:Jirachi:: Sets rocks, slow uturn is always nice and icy wind is good utility and can help Mag trap stuff. The spread lets it slow uturn well whilst still outspeeding key targets like Krook and standard Fez at -1

:Gengar:: Uses Nasty Plot to be a threatening sweeper and is even more threatening after a salac proc. The ev spread lets you live maus bite and bike knock after rocks and the speed evs let you out speed base 100s. Destiny Bond is a nice tech that can let you snipe a mon, but its main use is in the stall mu to snipe Chansey which helps Reun since most of the time you will tera to kill bike or the dark type.

:Salamence: Standard Band set which is great on dragmag for obvious reasons. Psychic fangs is for Gweez and 248 speed is to underspeed base 100s in trick room but still outspeed max speed Fez

:Maushold: Hazard control and has nice synergy with Mence as they break down each others checks. Taunt is to stop rocks from going back up, status and recovery. Standard Spread.

No ev spreads since they are mine.

I'm late, but I'm the host so it's allowed.
:terrakion::raikou::talonflame::goodra-hisui::krookodile::weezing-galar:
This is a team built around :terrakion: Endure-salac reversal Terrakion. Why reversal? +2 252 Atk Terrakion Reversal (200 BP) vs. 252 HP / 252+ Def Hippowdon: 415-490 (98.8 - 116.6%) -- guaranteed OHKO after Stealth Rock. It's more heat than close combat, this isn't a non-committal SD terrak that is used as a fast revenge killer just as often as a sweeper, this is all in. The rest of the team is basically constructed to get chip on slowbro and knock rocky helmets, allowing for Terrakion to sweep. Slowbro is nearly ohkoed by +2 tera rock stone edge after rocks, you just need a little bit of chip.
:krookodile;:goodra-hisui::talonflame: These are all generically good utility/offense besties. Krookodile sets rocks and is really important for supporting Terrakion by chipping Slowbro, Amogus, Hippo, Gweez and so on. Talonflame is a fastmon and pivot that can also help vs physical attackers by threatening a burn. Terrakion really likes spreading burns, it gives you so many setup opportunities vs physical attackers that would otherwise ohko or chunk you.
:raikou: Finally, Raikou is an accessory sweeper that can win most of the matchups that Terrakion can't. I also decided to go with CM volt switch because it's fun and I like the pivot support. You don't need to hit Goodra or Cyclizar super effectively when you can scald burn them and pivot into krook.

:sv/registeel:Week 36: Registeel:sv/registeel:
1732583655329.png

The man, the myth, the legend. Registeel is RU, RU is Registeel. The tier's icon and hero has fallen on hard times and is currently in NU. But there is still plenty for Regi to do in this tier and it still has massive bulk stats that let it take everything. It has to change a lot, coming into SV losing toxic and seismic toss. Now Registeel relies on body press coming off a massive defense stat for its damage. But there is still plenty of room for expression while relying on body press. Utility moves like stealth rock and thunder wave, iron defense for boosting body press' damage, amnesia to go completely in that sweeping direction, there's still plenty you can do. Find the right Registeel for you and share the result here.

Submission deadline: Teams should be submitted by 11:59 PM (GMT-7) on Friday, November 29th voting will then go until 11:59 PM (GMT-7) on Sunday December 1st.

REGIPOISON

:Registeel::Sylveon::Gengar::Cyclizar::Zapdos-Galar::Crawdaunt:

The goal of this team was to give Registeel his Toxic back.

:Registeel: The legend in the flesh. Very basic set with Iron Press. The 4 EVs are for outspeeding you guys and Chansey
.

:Sylveon: I wanted a Wish passer, and I feel like Sylveon pairs up best out of the Eeveelutions. The 4 EVs let you move before Swampert and a few others. I also put some SpA EVs to shore up my special offense. UNREADABLE PINK

:Gengar: The goal of this team was to whittle them down with poison, and Gengar does this quite well with his Hex set. Plus, he's a spin blocker yay!

:Cyclizar: I wanted to finish up the Steel/Fairy/Dragon core, get Knock Off support, and add a spinner, so I chose Cyclizar.

:Zapdos-Galar: Two of my members are weak to Ground, so I wanted to get an offensive Flying-type.

:Crawdaunt: Originally, this was Krookodile, but my team was getting smoked by Armarouge.

I have had a good amount of success hovering around 1400 with this team. If you have an improvement lemme know

:registeel: :noivern: :quagsire: :zoroark hisui: :umbreon: :lilligant hisui:

:pmd/registeel: I couldn't really think of a unique set for registeel, so I just went with the standard id+bp set, with rocks to allow it to force progress. Tera dragon can resist the fire type moves aimed at it and is an overall good defensive typing.

:pmd/noivern: We next have noivern, who is a great partner to registeel, as it resists every one of regi's weaknesses and can remove hazards for it. I decided to go with super fang, as it can chip down opponents easily for teammates to sweep. Rest of the set is standard, with tera fire to resist ice and fairy moves in a pinch.

:pmd/quagsire: I needed a ground type and preferably one with spikes, so quagsire is up next. I chose quagsire over gastrodon due to its access to toxic, which can threaten a lot of mons in the meta. Standard set because that's good.

:pmd/zoroark hisui: I needed a spinblocker, and I decided on zoroark hisui for this role. While scarf was appealing, I found specs to be the better option, as it can easily hide as registeel or umbreon, and brute force its way through defensive teams in order for registeel or hilligant to sweep later on. I went with u-turn over flamethrower in order to get my other threats in easier.

:pmd/umbreon: Umbreon is able to help with the special threats that threaten this team, while also keeping registeel healthy to threaten sweeps over the course of the game. I went with t-wave over toxic, as we already have quagsire for toxic, and it helps the rest of the team against faster foes, due to having no scarf mons on this team. Rest of the set is standard.

:pmd/lilligant hisui: Finally, I needed a fighting type on the team to help with the dark types that might prove a struggle for this team, so I went with hilligant due to its better matchup into krook and suicune. Main changes are bullet seed in order to break substitutes easier (primarily suicune, as even burned bullet seed can break sub at +1), ice spinner to hit flying types hard, and tera fire to ignore wisps and setup on geezing.

:Mew: :Entei: :Gengar: :cyclizar: :Registeel: :Amoonguss:

This is a weird team based around trying to out position your opponent utilizing u-turn and eject button. It's awkward and I've been working on it the past few days while trying to make it a lot more solid, still improving it. Mew is a great bulky attacker that can easily surprise opponents even if they know the set due to the unpredictability it brings to the game, Entei and Gengar are self-explanatory. Thing is, I wanted to capitalize on a regenerator mon being able to take hits and bring instant momentum, even if it was an one time only deal, cue Amoonguss. Being able to have two ways to bring in important key mons in with Mew and Cyclizar is pretty solid, having Amoonguss as back up guarantees a quicker way of bringing momentum. This allows Registeel to set-up hazards and check mons easier, same goes for Cyclizar except clearing hazards instead of setting them up. This also allows for Entei to e-speed or spread burns, as well as, Gengar to out speed everything or trick an annoying mon.

It's a hard team to use, but there is room for customization. Also, there is a lot of status spam, so yup.

Pls guys where is the monotype RMT subforum I'm lost

:registeel:
After several teams of trying to make Registeel work in teams other than super fat do nothing teams, I gave up and channeled the energy of low ladder to submit this team. Registeel is here to be our rocks setter so Empoleon can run Roar.

:bisharp:
Tera Blast Fairy Bisharp is necessary to not get 6-0ed by Fighting types. The good news is that it's a mon that is entirely capable of 6-0ing teams, and you kinda need that X factor with this team.

:empoleon:
Also kinda needed to not autolose to Armarouge and Volcanion (they're still hard MUs even with Empoleon obviously). Roar so we can knock boots off of them and have them take rocks damage.

:klefki:
Our "Ground immunity". Sets Spikes because we need anything we can get in here. Thunder Wave also helps in the lucking wins department.

:jirachi:
I needed more bullshit to cheese wins and speed control, and so Jirachi is a very natural pick. Fire Punch hits other Steels because lol and Healing Wish can give a 2nd life to Bisharp.

:magnezone:
Magnezone is a strong special attacker who helps beat Waters. That's it. It also helps against the Forretress infestation on ladder.

Epic Replays

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ru-2253420883 The opponent reveals his PTSD about mono steel teams, which helps me win the psychological war and defeat this Magnezone/Gapdos core.

https://replay.pokemonshowdown.com/gen9ru-2253422867 My opponent mislicks on the builder and picks the weezing that is not weak to Steel and also runs Volcanion and Gapdos. Very epic replay indeed.

Ironpress regi BO
:registeel::slowbro::gardevoir::zapdos-galar::cyclizar::slowbro:

There is nothing I love more than building good old fashioned honest teams that win by forcing progress until a win condition can sweep. This week's win condition that also doubles as a progress maker is :registeel:registeel. I was finally converted to the church of Regi by heatranator after I couldn't find a special wall that works for this team, and it changed my life forever. Registeel switches in on basically everything, sets up rocks and can even tank super effective hits. You always want to be on the lookout for when ironpress just wins.
:kilowattrel: the other star of the show, kilowattrel is back and just as iconic as the pre-home meta. They don't want you to know this, but hurricane does a minimum of 39 to AV cyclizar. But this bird isn't just a fast electric type that outspeeds bike, it's competitive. Our ground types are still just as iffy vs an electric/flying type as they were before the thundy ban, and this one also has an ability that abuses the hell out of krookodile. +2 hurricane is an ohko, it's way more than an ohko. If they try to block your volt switch then they will regret it.
:zapdos-galar::gardevoir: these two are the supplementary offense besties. Scarf Garde is as good as ever. The reason it is running shadow ball is because I just refuse to keep losing to armarouge. Healing wish is really really really good with ironpress regi though, if you ever use a team with these two that doesn't autolose to armarouge. Itemless gapdos is my friend. They are never prepared for it and it always puts in work. With this team having some trouble vs slowbro, I opted for thunderous kick. You do a sneaky amount of damage to slowbro by clicking thunderous click into acrobatics.
:cyclizar::slowbro: the glue mons of ru. I'm running future sight slowbro because it pairs really well with other mons on the team. Gapdos, registeel, gardevoir and kilowattrel all love the future sight support, and gapdos really really really loves stuff getting paralyzed. The cyclizar spread allows it to live a +1 psyshcok from armarouge after stealth rock. Can you tell that armarouge wrecked me several times using this team?

Some eye candy replays where zapdos and registeel constantly sweep:

It's time for voting. This week's entries are:
:Registeel::Sylveon::Gengar::Cyclizar::Zapdos-Galar::Crawdaunt: Regipoison by Sddi6
:registeel::noivern::quagsire::zoroark hisui::umbreon::lilligant hisui: Regispikes by Heatranator
:mew::netei::gengar::registeel::amoonguss::zapdos-galar: Tactical offense by haunted paper
:registeel::bisharp::empoleon::jirachi::klefki::magnezone: Mono steel by fluff!!
:weezing-galar::registeel::sceptile::mew::feraligatr::maushold: Misty terrain by Kushalos
:registeel::slowbro::gardevoir::zapdos-galar::cyclizar::slowbro: Ironpress Regi + Itemless Gapdos by Sneakyplanner
My vote goes to sddi6. I have seen tspikes+ironpress regi used well in past gens, but had completely forgotten about it as an option until now. It's a team I definitely want to use and build similar to, I just love how tspikes can really hurt the traditional registeel answers. Honorable mentions to Heatranator for building a really solid team and haunted paper for using entei, that will always get my love.
