Can anyone tell me how to use Shoddy? I downloaded it made a team then tried and connect to one of the servers, that didn't work, next time i tried there were no servers to connect to. Can anyone give me a process i can follow?
 
Is this a good moveset for Scizor:

Impish: Technician
Roost (Healing)
Agility or Swords Dance
Baton Pass (To pass on the chosen Stat Up Move)
Metal Claw (for attack boost every now and then, I think it gets 112.5 power with technician and STAB)

I personally can't decide between Agility and Swords Dance. And I'm having second thoughts on Metal Claw.

How many special attack evs does a Neutral special attack nature mamoswine's blizzard need to garuntee a 2HKO on skarmory?

* neutral sp. def on skarmory, 252 hp evs and no sp. def evs (the average skarmory right)
 
Someone please help. I just caught a: Timid #485 Heatran: 18 - 19 / 29 / 28 / 26 / 17 / 30 aiming for HP Ice, and it says it's super effective agaonst a marcargo, a graveler, and an onix, but when I put the IVs into Metalkid's Calc, it says Hidden Power is Fire 45..Why?

The IVs that you calculated are wrong then because that is HP Fire with 18-19 HP. Calculate the IVs again.

its Fire 45 also on serebii's, the IV are probably wrong
 
Two Questions:

1) As Explosion effectively halves the opponent's defense, what if:
The opponent's pokemon has a natural 300 defense. He uses Iron Defense twice to bring it up to an effective 900.

Does explosion take 900/2 = 450? or does it negate the bonus, going back to the original 300, and use that? or does it half the original and take 300/2 = 150?

2) For competitive battles, what is a "ladder match"? Or better yet, where can I find a page describing what each "clause" etc. entails?

I give it 10 HP-Ups
How many Bidoofs do I have to kill to EV train it in HP?

Also what is the best poke to kill to EV train for defense and how many do I have to kill with the power item and pokerus and 10 vitamins to fully EV train?

If you are going for max HP, then 1 Bidoof without the power item, then 15 more with the item. For Defense the Ruin Maniac Cave (I think that's the name) south of Veilstone works. Filled with Geodude and Hippopotas, both of which give Defense EVs. Use the same suggestions I gave for Bidoof.

You may also want to kill 15 Geodude/Hippopotas with the item then take it off and kill the last Geodude/Hippopotas with another item that gives EVs to a stat other than Defense or HP, that way you don't waste EVs
