Say I have a Jolly Leafeon, using Swords Dance, Baton Pass, Roar, and Leaf Blade. Say further that I haven't started planning the rest of a team. Now, are there any Pokemon that should be really obvious to me as good recipients for Leafeon's attack boost? I figure it has to take a hit on the switch AND be pretty speedy... right?

Also I heard that people can hack check pokemon I would really love to learn how to do that because I am kinda suspecious about some pokemon that I got off of Marriland and the GTS. If anybody knows how to hack check pokemon please tell me how to or link me to something about it please. Thanks.[/quote said:
Nobody answered this one yet so I am just quoting this incase anybody missed it.

Can a Feraligatr with one Life Orb boost but with Intimidate OHKO a standard Specsmence?

And can a 252 Atk EV'd Banded Lopunny Sky Uppercut end up not OHKOing a Ttar?

With what attack?

Yes a Sky Uppercut does 98.02% - 115.84% to a max HP Tyranitar.

Does anyone know what the chances are of a Pokemon changing it's Ability after evolving? Like a Pickup Meowth evolving into Persian, Naturally you would expect it to evolve into Limber, but I read one time there was a small chance it could receive the second ability which in this case would be Technician.

I thought it was like a 10% chance, but reading the Strategy Dex for Persian and the Swift Move-sets, how would Persian have Technician and Swift if Swift was a 3rd Gen Move Tutor move and Technician is a 4th Gen Ability?

If you take 3rd gen pokemon that has two abilities in DP, there's a 50% chance that the ability will change on evolution in D/P.

What is a good EV spread for Jirachi if I have the Mence-Jirachi combo.

I'm thinking an 240 HP/76 Def/160 SP Def/32 Speed.

i'm puttin this here cos i don't know where else to look

a) by what percentage does paralysis reduse a pokemons speed?
b) what percentage does Quick Feet raise a pokemons speed when it is statused?

i was just wondering if a pokemon with quick feet was paralyzed would it's speed be raised and if so by how much?

i know it would be easier to just use a toxic orb but it seems like too much effort to start messing around with the rest of my team

Paralysis cuts your speed into one-fourth of what it was originally and Quick feet doubles your speed. So if both are active you wind up with halved speed

Actually no. Quick Feet ignores paralysis speed drop (but not the 25% paralysis chance)
