Xyra: To get different IVs you must save before recieving the egg from the man. Then you 'll get the same nature/gender/ability, but different IVs.

Baton Pass Beedrill and Morning Sun Tangela are interesting. Baton Pass Hipno is the most interesting one I think.

Tangela. Definitely Tangela. Maybe the BPers too. Beedrill can learn Agility and Swords Dance, those could be useful. Hypno can Nasty Plot, Calm Mind and maybe some gimmicky Psych Up fun.

I'm loling at Refresh Arbok. Mostly because they can have Shed Skin.

After I retired Pokemon a while back,I started enjoying other stuff, and I've indeed come back. I figured out about the Deoxys event, and I was wondering..

0. Would I be allowed to use Arkeis Pokemon sprites if I reduced their size down to 96x100 via Photobucket? I would give credit of course, via my sig.
1. Do I need a National Pokedex to get the Deoxys?
2. If so, then should I be able to finish D/P in about a week(started yesterday,I'm about to get my 2nd badge.)?
3. Are there any super fast ways to finish the game, while still seeing all 150 pokemon?)

Also,here's my other question.

Would I be allowed to make a thread called " Your 10 favorite pokemon",and ask people what are there 10 favorite/strong pokemon and why, tally up the votes for each pokemon and make a scoreboard for it,to find out the "most liked pokemon",and how it fares against other pokemon?

0: Probably. Check their terms.
1. If it's like Darkrai, no.
2. Yes, probably.
3. Trade your Pokemon to another game that's completed, level them up, trade them back, pwn the game.

Other: Probably not.

Is there an IV Breeding Probability Calc for more than just 31 IV's? Because I'm breeding for something with 5 or less Speed, but X-Act's calc only works for 31's.

Blue Kirby (or someone with the name Kirby) once made one. Sadly I can not find any links.

I recently returned, and I'm looking over the analysis for Electrode...what exactly does 212 Speed beat? Hasty and 136 Speed beats max Jolly Swellow. I would assume it's for a scarfer of some sort, but which?

((Yes, this is only for pure UU.))

Lorak did a good job answering the questions although I can't help but clarify / add.

1. Specifically, you only need the normal Pokedex. (This can be abused to receive the event more times than expected.)

3. The way I do it involves two games, some memorizing, etc. Given that you're asking, though, I assume you don't have the convenience of a second game and you're looking for something faster than battling every single trainer out there. Well, there are a few guides which list trainers that have unique pokemon, but I play through fast by using a Game Guide that I've drawn on to note E.G. important items, important battles, etc.

The most difficult pokemon to get viewing credit for is Drifloon. If you obtain the 5th badge without battling any extra trainers, your only other options are to trade one over or wait till Friday afternoon. There are a couple trainers in the Gym with one but off the top of my head the one I like is in the right-most door of the second set of doors.

Wooper can also be tricky, but only because the trainers that could have him can randomly not be there. Best way is to encounter him in the wild by surfing on the waters in the rainy Southern part of Route 212.

Other than that I have in my notes...

-Cherrim from a trainer on Route 221 ; the Ace Trainer in the grassy part
-Abra from the Trainer's School
-Right-most Picnicer in the Oreburgh Gate for Psyduck
-Old Man in Oreburgh Gate Basement for Riolu, Graveler (need surf)
-Route 204, the Bug Catcher pacing back and forth (not sure why)
-Route 205, South, Hiker closest to entrance (not sure why)
-Eterna Forest, optional Bug Catcher double battle (Burmy, Kricketune)
-Right-most Fisherman just before Eterna City (Magikarp, Goldeen)
-Route 211, Bird Trainer guarding TM12 (Noctowl or Hoothoot, I think?)
-Wayward Cave (Buneary and something else, guarding Rare Candy or TM32)
-Route 208, Aroma Girl in the north of the grass (Combee)
-Route 209, first Breeder right at the entrance (Pichu or Cleffa)
-Route 209, Breeder standing next to Honey Tree (Pichu or Cleffa)
-Solaceon Ruins, Unown
-Route 210 (late game), Ace Trainer just north of the pacing Ace Pair (Mothim)
-Route 214, Beauty for Wormadam
-Route 214, Psychic (just south of Beauty) for Haunter
-Ruin Maniac Cave is an option for Hippopotas
-South Route 212, Rangers guarding "entrance" (Prinplup)
-South Route 212, lower-left Fisherman (Barboach)
-Route 223, very first swimmer has a Lumineon
*Note: When I say Route 223 "shallows", there's a place mid-way through the Route where you have to stop surfing and navigate (run, surf, run, surf) around a giant rock.*
-Route 223, girl swimming in circles just north of "shallows", Finneon
-Route 223, after exiting "shallows", little area to the east which leads to a male swimmer with Golduck and Tentacool

Probably not everything, but it might be helpful since I use this guide to battle people as I go?
