What are the HP Ground and HP Ice combos? Metalkid is down when I posted this (for me at least).

Bronzong with Gyro Ball. Even with reflect, it should do a ton of damage to the very speedy Deoxys.
Taunt users can also partially stop it.

Now, for my own question. Where do I find the TM12, Taunt in RSE? What about DP?
 
You could try ambipom (only one I can think of). Ambipom can use fake out and brick break.

Fake out might scare away the deoxys. Also, since that deoxys has no attack moves at all you really need to do is keep using brick break...
 
Brick Break is NVE on Deoxys so it still wouldn't do much... Maybe it'd work though.


How do you calculate the Base Power of something with Tinted Lens? I mainly want to know Bug Buzz from Venomoth, used on Probopass.

As far as I know, you just remove one level of resistance if you're resisted. So Probopass would eat neutral damage, and something like Skarmory would only take 1/2 damage.

in r/s/e, you can find taunt in the trick house, during trick 5, with the mechadolls.
in d/p, you can find taunt in the west section of rte. 211, to the east of eterna city.

electrode cannot learn rapid spin, if that's what you're asking.

simply multiply the final damage by 2, if a move would do "not very effective" damage.

for 0.25x damage (double-type resist), tinted lens would cause 0.5x damage instead.
for 0.5x damage (single-type resist), tinted lens would cause 1x damage instead.

since probopass resists bug 0.5x, being a rock/steel, bug buzz would cause 1x damage.

metalkids overshoots damage, and the one I was using was on some obscure website that I don't remember the name of, so now I need a good calculator.
 
I have a question about genderless breeding in Emerald. I have a Jolly Ditto and a Jolly Metagross, i want Jolly baby's. Which Pokémon needs to carry the Everstone?!

Can 2 beldums breed?
 
I remember hearing a while ago that wild Pokemon's stats are slightly lower than a trainer-owned Pokemon's, at least in Gen III. I've been Speed filtering Moltres in FR with a 107 Speed Onix, and all three I've caught have had a Speed stat of 119 with +Speed natures.

My question is: do wild Pokemon actually have lower stats?
 
Erm not sure if I should post this here but.. can anyone hack check the Vaporeon in my partner's part of the thread? If it turns out legit, we'll offer you any pokemon from our thread but no redistributing please
 
I don't think this is the place to ask for that, try the smogon services on the wifi forum but from what I know nobody does that anymore and even if they did, hack checking something doesn't mean it is legit.

nope. this is absolutely false. wild pokemon just come without being ev trained.
 
I was recently looking at apparently succesful offensive teams on the RMT forum and I noticed the massive usage of Deoxys-e. However, the local environment I play in makes me unable to use him and I was wondering what could be a good replacement even though it has an unique speed base and coverage... I really have no idea what could work, maybe actually having a wall there or idk.

Any thoughts on this?
 
It would actually depend on what kind of team do you have, if you post a RMT, I will personally help you out.

Edit: Deoxys is pretty unique, so there isn't many pokemon that can actually be a Deoxys replacement, if you mean in terms of movepool, then MixApe would be a good choice.
 
I'm having a problem doing the latios leveling trick. On my sapphire version, I mixed records with my emerald version and when I go to the secret base he's there, but he doesn't ask to battle. What am I doing wrong?
 
I know. Its not letting me battle at all though.

On emerald its working fine. On sapphire its not letting me battle.

(And by the way, you can get around the "once a day" thing by mixing records again)
