Also, could an Absol using Night Slash with a Lansat Berry activated and a Scope Lens tricked to it get 50% critical hit rate. I'm guessing yes.

It just raises a stage. And as far as it goes, even if you Baton Passed Focus energy to it, Critical Hit Rate maxes out at either 50% or 33%, no matter how many boosts.

Like previously stated, I like the route where all you find is Spinda/Slugma/Skarmory... except don't kill Skarmory. Spinda and Slugma both give 1 EP in Special Attack.

I used Whismur in that cave where that is all that is there for HP.
I used Zubat in the Altering Cave (assuming yours is not altered :P).
IIRC, I fought Koffing and Torkoal in that Mountain thing... I forgot what it was called :P... My that town that I think starts with an L? Haha.



My Question:
I want to make an Arcanine, and his Attack and Speed IV's were in a range in which I would consider them to be "acceptable", but his Defense was down into the single digits. Is this too horrible? Should I keep breeding? In a... general opinion?
 
i want my modest scarftran to have hidden power ice. anyone with good IV's? can anyone post me a link to legendaries and legal hidden power combinations so i don't have to ask this kind of question again?
 
I looked around and I do not know where to post this so I'll just go here.

I made this account and activated it like I would on any other forum. But then I tried to make a thread and it gave me the I do not have permission to access this page. Either an admin decided to disable my ability the second I made the account, or the activation didn't work. I tried to activate it with the code and it worked but didn't change anything. I can post but not threads. Help?
 
Where did you try to make a new thread? If you try to make a thread in the policy review forum you won't be able to do it because only people with badges can do that there.
 
That's the warstory archive, it's an archive because the best warstories are stored there so that anybody can read them.
You can make a warstory in this forum and it will be moved there by a mod if it is good enough but you can't make a thread directly in that forum because you are not allowed to decide which warstories will go there.
 
If I have one Pokemon asleep, and my opponent uses a sleep-inducing move, does that break sleep clause.

For example

My Bronzong is asleep. I switch, but he uses Hypnosis. However, it misses. Does this break sleep clause?
 
Well, no. He has to sleep one. The only time where more than one Pokemon can be asleep without breaking it is if he sleeps one of your Pokemon, and then you use Rest with another one. That's okay.

Sleep Clause is just when they sleep your Pokemon. If Hypnosis doesn't miss, then they break Sleep Clause.

yes, that one is the best one I've found. it is also 100% accurate, unlike metalkid. I've found it to be easiest to use with the shoddy teambuilder open, so I can quickly look at the stats of multiple pokemon.
 
Can someone help me calculate damage for a Brave (252 attack EVs) Skill Link Cloyster's Icicle Spear (with Expert Belt) against Garchomp with Yache Berry?

I'm having trouble, since it hits 5 times, the first time negating Yache, etc.
 
I know this site is no supposed to have things on hacked Pokemon. But I don't think my question is that bad, I'll delete though it it breaks any rule.

Ok so here's the question, I've been looking at some trade threads and some of them say things like it's been hacked checked and proven to eb legit. How do I check pokemon that I got in trades to see if they are legit or not. Is there like a website that you use to check what the description says? I really don't see how to check this withopt putting in soem external device, wich defies teh whole concept.

You need an external device to extract the data from the cartridge but if you don't touch anything then it shouldn't matter. Anyway, hack checks are not 100% effective so they catch only the obvious hacks.
Checking the description is not enough because that can easily be made to look normal unless the "hacker" is stupid.

Glaceon. It has good defenses, so with the proper support (you're running Delcatty, correct? Normalize T-wave works), it can sweep through teams.

First hit will do:
317 Atk vs 206 Def & 358 HP (10 base power): 38 - 50 (10.61% - 13.97%) | Multipliers: 0.60 * 2 * 2 * 1.5

The other 4 will do:
317 Atk vs 206 Def & 358 HP (10 base power): 76 - 100 (21.23% - 27.93%) | Multipliers: 1.2 * 2 * 2 * 1.5
